I took the leap of faith, I was always scared to go to the chiropractor due to having PTSD and fear of being touched. From the moment Amy answered the phone, I knew that I was in good hands. She guided me on what my first visit would be like and made me an Appointment. My first appointment was very insightful, Dr. Redman took my X-Rays and gave me a full evaluation. I returned the next day to go over the results and Dr. Redman gave me a full explanation of everything that was wrong and why it causes me pain. He then gave detailed treatment plan tailored to my recovery. My recovery has been amazing! I am no pain 90% of the time and the small amount that I still have is actively progressing as I continue my treatment. Dr. Mike and Dr. Redman are experienced professionals that have changed my life and have treated me with kindness and respect. In addition to her office space in Tempe she also offers treatments at Willow Midwife Center in a secluded little room upstairs. She's also a great educator and teaches prenatal and postpartum classes at Willow once a month. Her Tempe office is located in the building complex right next to Embassy Suites in a picturesque setting. You'll go up stairs or take the elevator to the second floor where her suite is. The space is such a tranquil, peaceful place to relax and unwind. Each room has complete privacy and although the complex is along a busy street (Rural Rd) you don't hear any of the traffic going by. I've had several treatments with Kari Ann, including a gua sha treatment and amazing acupressure treatments in conjunction with acupuncture and after each appointment I've left feeling better and a lot more relaxed. You know you're at a good place when you start dozing off in the middle of your treatment! In the past I had acupuncture done but in a community setting where it was harder to get comfortable due to all the other people in the room so I definitely feel that acupuncture in a private setting is the way to go in my situation. Rates are reasonable and she does offer discounts for prepaid packages which is a nice little perk. Kari Ann is also such a wealth of knowledge about nutrition and other health care providers that offer related services. I've gotten some good recommendations on books and referrals to other health care specialists from her!

Although my initial concern was some pain in my shoulder, I was pleasantly surprised when I was introduced to Shockwave Therapy for pain and locking of my trigger finger. I had a few sessions for my finger and have yet to have any pain again. The entire staff is great from the moment you walk in, and I feel so welcome every time. Dr. Scott and Dr. Todd are not only excellent at what they do, but they also have the best sense of humor. I genuinely look forward to my adjustments- not just because I leave feel physically better, but because I get a good laugh in the process. His team is terrific, has a nice clean office, comfort dogs, and is very reasonably priced. I love how he gives you a choice based on your time and issue. You could come in for a quick adjustment or for the full treatment. I usually get the full treatment, but sometimes I'm in a hurry and go for the quick. He is very personable, a good listener, gentle, and has a teachers heart. He has so many great resources on his web page and also has great books about targeted issues. Dr. Connell is the first and only doctor I have ever been to that actually listens. Further, she considers your entire mind, body and environment in developing treatment. She made several suggestions and immediately told me her plan would not entail me being on all of the supplements and such forever, but to reduce to exactly what is needed as we proceeded through treatments. This is a fact. From the first set of supplements to now - the supplements have been reduced to half. From the first session I have experienced great changes to my pre-menopausal symptoms (hot flashes gone). From the next session my acne, weight gain, nail strength, and sleep have all improved (all the things I wanted to address).
