I have been using the Brooksville, Fl advanced imagining for ALL of my needs, open MRI, Mammograms, X-rays, CT's , echos and I can equivocally state this is the best facility I have ever dealt with hands down! Appointments are available without long waits and definitely quicker than my doctors offices. Their personnel are always expertised, very friendly and you are served quickly. Results are provided very quickly also. It's a piece of cake to get the Records you need and or copies of such. Despite the fact I was just there the year prior for the same test I haven't changed my name or Social Security number What I'm trying to convey is that they intentionally screwed me over or -----they're really lazy as well as hostel I still haven't got the test performed, I can guarantee you this place - the people that work there are mean as well. From start to finish. Called and made appointment with them, no issues. I was greeted at the window, quickly took my info. Called back before my appointment time. The doctor and Brandy explained in great detail what would be happening during the biopsy. Talked me through it and answered all questions before they even touched me. Checked my vitals before they would let me go. Super friendly and excellent bedside manner for both of them. I would most definitely go here again if the need arises. read more

I have been going to Advanced Imaging Concepts for over 18 years for my Women's wellness mammogram exam. I received my annual letter from them in October advising I was due. I spoke with Kelly in office to schedule an appointment. She told be the FL law has changed and self referrals are no longer accepted. I called my doctor who sent a script, then made an appointment. About two weeks later I received a VM advising they do not accept my insurance and canceled my appointment. I left a VM with Advanced Img. Insurance dept. And received a call back from Robin who advised they do accept my insurance and so she rescheduled my appt.. Then about another 2 weeks went by and I received another VM stating they canceled my appt again they don't take my insurance. I called back and spoke with Kelly who was even more arrogant, then when I asked to speak with Robin she denied me to. Very disappointed with how Advanced Img. Handled this. I think they need to retrain their staff in all areas. In addition I've spoken to my doctors office and other Imaging places and all said they've heard many people complaining about Advanced Imaging Concepts. I guess this is what happens when a business thinks they're bigger then they are! read more

This place is garbage. I had a scan here through the VA and it went okay. Other than me being allergic to shellfish and them not catching it until I was already plugged into the dye. But I can get past that because the VA is garbage down here as well and that could have been their fault. . But another doc sent me here for other scans and I tried for over a month to schedule with no luck. Every time they'd give me some excuse as to why they couldn't schedule it. I even went in there and the lady who was sooo busy (talking to the other girls in the office cutting up laughing and having a good time) said it would be a 30 minute wait to just schedule the appointments because they were busy "checking people in". . This is AFTER my Dr sent the order a month prior. So if you want to deal with lazy, rude staff this is the place for you. Otherwise I'd highly suggest avoiding this place. read more

A storm came through & it briefly turned the power off at this office. It took the staff quite a bit of time to get things booted backup. I was there for four hours and was told over and over that it is because they lost all the information that had not been saved so they had to restart tests from the beginning because the owners of the facility did not invest in a proper generator or quality computer system. The staff did there best but tensions were high due to more patients showing up for appointments that have now been pushed back. Maria my tech was very knowledgeable and friendly. My advise is, if there is a storm in that area, I would call ahead so you know how long the wait time is or just reschedule. I suffer from a broken tail bone among other spinal issues so sitting is very painful. Both the bathrooms I used and the seating in both the front lobby and the lounge area was dirty so I stood the whole time I was there. Just gross. Owners are too cheap to provide a clean environment to its patients. read more

Every time I come into this facility, I am not greeted or recognized. You stand at the window and they pretend they don't see you and that you're not here. They have their back to you, or they are talking amongst themselves, or pretending you're not there. They don't even say hello when you are called, they just look at you. They yell your name like you're a bunch of cattle. Then they have an attitude if you say something to them like you could say hello or greet me. It spreads to each and everyone of them. They are all miserable here. Maybe they have a miserable boss or hate their jobs. But they have no friendliness, compassion or professionalism. I am going to find another facility. read more

I had two ultrasounds and a mammogram. I had a brief wait. In fact I barely finished my new patient information when I was called up to the window. I was taken into the ultrasound room shortly after then escorted to the mammogram waiting area where I had a brief wait to go to the room. Great experience! Everyone was friendly efficient and professional. Brandy did the ultrasounds. She is amazing. read more

Worst experience I've had with a medical facility since I had to use Croak Hill Hospital... it should be simple, but no after 3 phone calls that had me on hold for over a combined 30 minutes the line was cut off... being in the vicinity, I decided to make the appointment in person... FULL waiting room ... poor guy with an 11:30 appointment... it was 12:30...needed to sign in to actually talk to a person... TOTAL SHITSHOW! read more

Today I had an appt. for a mamogram and arrived 4:35pm 5 minutes late due to the school buses... The secretary informed me that the Tech said it was too late and she refused take me. My choices were reschedule or wait for 2 other clients after me that weren't even there yet. I said this is ridicules you're punishing me for being 5 min. late? The gatekeeper secretary was insistent and was not going to accommodate me. I refused to reschedule and demanded my procedure today, but I agreed to wait. At 4:55pm a woman checks in for a mamogram, and now I' fuming! I then asked to speak to the supervisor. The supervisor just blew smoke in my face and tried to support her coworkers. I reminded her that I could go elsewhere for my testing and I did get my procedure after a 30 minute wait. When I finished the test I saw the secretary again and mentioned the test took 10 minutes and that she should be ashamed of herself. All that aggravation for nothing. It could have easily been done without all the drama... I have never seen such rude and entitled workers ever before. I am a Nurse for 32 yrs and I would have been let go for such a thing. For all the times I have been there sitting for 45 min to over 1 hr for a test, they have the nerve to refuse me over 5 minutes? This is what I call the GateKeeper syndrome. It's little peons who try to feel powerful by gaining control over the situation. This is the first time I've had such a horrible experience with the front desk, if it happens again I won't go back. But at least I didn't give in to those little peons. I complained and still got my testing done the same day! Don't let them over on you!! Good imaging technicians, but clearly the front desk is understaffed, overloaded, or not capable of keeping up. I'm tired of having to wait for so long every time I go in, even though there are usually 5+ employees at the check-in counter. read more

This review would be better suited at zero stars. I have never experienced a more incompetent office than Advanced Imaging in Brooksville, FL. For two weeks they continuously rescheduled my appointment from allegedly not receiving authorization from my physician. I spoke with them several times explaining that they do have the authorization as I've called my physician. They refused to go out of their way to pick up a phone and call my doctors office to have this confirmed. I had to play the middle person and call back the referring physician and Advanced. The week of my (many rescheduled appointments) appointment they called to state they had the authorization and everything was good to go. The next day I received ANOTHER call that they don't have the authorization, yet again. They left a voicemail rescheduling me to a date and time I never agreed to. I explained numerous times that I could only come after 5:30pm. I spoke with several rude office members that insisted they had no idea why I received a call that they had the authorization. (The only pleasant office member was Kylie). Finally, they called once again and said they now had the authorization. 3 hours before my appointment they called to say that now they need me to come an hour and 20 minutes early because the radiologist cannot administer my contrast at my scheduled time. I was courteous and rearranged my very busy clinical schedule. I arrived to my appointment and waited over an hour and a half to be told that the doctor already left for the day. I now have to contact my physician and request authorization for another facility. My hope is that my knee does not have permanent damage as I've been waiting weeks and have been forced to continue to walk on it despite an injury. Please, if you want efficiency or respect do not go to Advanced Imaging. I have worked in medical offices for over 12 years and I find this completely unprofessional. This office WILL NOT respect your time, energy, and ultimately your health. read more

Called to make an appointment for an x-ray and was told I did not need an appointment. When I arrived the first thing they asked was if I had an appointment.... well, no, I was told I didn't need one for an x-ray. They took my name and said they would be right with me. 30 minutes later, I left. Sorry, our time is also important. I'll need to find a facility that makes appointments. read more

One of the best experiences I have had getting an MRI. I am terribly claustrophobic and the tech, Peggy, made me feel so much better and so much more relaxed. I had to have imaging done of my brain (with and without contrast) and she injected the dye with no issue at all. I have very small veins, that roll, and I often end up bruised and miserable as the nurse tries to catch my vein. Peggy got me on the first spike. The music was broken, but I never use that anyway. Peggy handed me ear plugs, covered my eyes and reassured it me it would go fast and I would be fine. I was. Great experience. read more

MRI person was good did great. However due to the absolutely horrible service checking in and out at front desk will never use this place again. It took less time to have actual MRI done then it did checking in or checking out and still left without me CD after waiting half an hour. Would not reccomend this place to anyone ever, they need to clean house and learn some customer service skills. Worst Dr. Appointment ever thanks to people at the front desk. We've been waiting 2 hours and when we asked what was taking so long we were told the CT machine was broken and they fixed it but now it's broken again. They said they might be able to see me today. That info would have been helpful 2 hours ago when other imaging places were open. I still don't know if I'll be seen today or not. read more

Nothing like coming home from a 16 hour shift (I'm nurse at a hospital) to a voice mail from Advanced Imaging to "come pick up Barium" for my mom's CT scan. Told the person on the phone that the script says plain as day "no contrast" (it was even underlined). He argued that it meant no "IV Contrast." I argued that no contrast meant no contrast period. He argued back. I bit bullet and drove all the way up there only to be told to "sign in and take a seat." 15 minutes later I was called to the window only to be told that the test was for "no contrast." I never wanted to throat punch someone so bad in my entire life. read more

Horrible Office staff. Technician was super great. Arrived at 8:00 for an 8:30 appointment. Signed in, others arriving after were called up, finally was called to desk at 8:25. I was told that I was self pay. Mind you I have used this office before and my insurance has not changed. Then I was told they called my insurance and my insurance card was expired. I asked to speak with a manager who was not available. They said they would call my insurance again and to have a seat. I said I would wait at the desk while they did. 10 minutes later was still waiting. She said I should have received a call yesterday saying my appointment would be self pay. I showed her the text I received yesterday which said nothing about payment. It only confirmed the appointment and gave instruction for preparation for the procedure. In the meantime, I called my insurance company myself. They keep a call log - no one from Advanced had called since Nov. of 2020. This is now Nov. of 2021. Clearly the staff lied to my face. Then a clerk named Amber came to the desk and was going to tell me all about how insurances change and how they got a new computer system last April, yada yada yada. When I tried to ask her a question, she told me I was cutting her off. She left the desk and me standing for another 5 -10 minutes, then came back. At around 8:45 a call came in from somewhere that my insurance had been verified. She struggled with the credit card machine while taking my payment then proceeded to make additional excuses for their inability to do their job. Horrible experience with the office personnel, horrible customer service - or lack of capable office people. read more

The Clinical staff is always friendly and efficient. The front desk staff always makes me feel like they can not get rid of me fast enough. Always rushing through a conversation, never even looking at me. Would love to just check in with a computer and avoid the borderline rude front staff. read more

The staff and technicians are great, my problem is with the voicemail system when you call. You press 1 for appts, when the phone is answered they ask how can I direct your call? and then they put you on hold for 20 mins. Not happy. read more

I am new to this area, but in establishing residency, sooner or later you have to hit a mammography provider if you are female and a certain age. One concept I find it hard to wrap my mind around is the lack of same day results around here. You have to wait for days or contact your primary care physician's office in two business days. Having once gone to a real luxury facility where there are only women, you wear pretty robes and then talk to the physician's assistant about your results before you leave, I found this experience lacking. I really don't think it is a reflection on the people who work there. They were courteous and respectful. This lack of communication seems to be part of the culture here. While I don't believe I'll get any negative reports, this area (Brooksville, FL) needs an overhaul in patient communication and would benefit in a patient (not doctor) centered experience. read more

I read all the reviews before I went to Advanced & was very skeptical since it had such poor reviews. I am new to FL & this was where my MD sent me. I was there on 7-8-2019 for a mammogram. My appt. was 10:30am, but I arrived much earlier at 9:50am. I was taken to the desk for my info within 5 minutes by an extremely nice young lady named Sarah. The tech called me back & proceeded with my testing. She was also very pleasant & we chatted during the test. I was back in my car at 10:30! I couldn't have asked for better service!! They requested a copy from my last test which I had done in RI. The hospital sent the disc to me but it was the wrong patient. They would not send me any other information unless I signed a release, which is impossible since I'm in FL, but they gave me instructions. So I called Advanced & spoke with a very nice woman who took the information & was faxing the request to the hospital in RI now. I had a very good experience with everyone I have dealt with there so far. Although I do whole-heartedly agree with 1 person who wrote a review, that being the entire medical system here needs an overhaul, I don't project that to this facility. I don't know what the outcome of my testing will be & how & when I will receive that information, but again, it's not a reflection on this facility.
