Booked a mobile appointment for my husband as his very first Father's Day gift…read more Thought we were good to go until I received a call and a text at 9pm the night before our morning appointment telling me that they would need to reschedule as well as charge me an additional $100+ fee for travel. I made my appointment 2 weeks prior so the fact that I wasn't made aware of this fee until the night before the service is crazy. I opted to cancel my appointment all together, I'm not a fan of how they manage their business. I'm also super disappointed that the gift my husband was so excited for won't happen until I can find someone else to detailed his truck - hopefully someone more reliable.

ALL spotless clean in a blink of the eye! But the reason for asking again is customer experience, reliability, and caring. An area of the roof lining, out of sight out of mind, was accidentally missed. As I mentioned, he had so much to deal with ... so understandable. All it took was a phone call and less than a few days the oversight was corrected. Landon will be back to Madrona again, I guarantee!

I contacted 4 detail shops through Yelp to get quotes for my wife's 2018 CX-5. I was asked 9…read morequestions, and then given a quote. Here's the quote from MRG: "Here is my price estimate: Price Estimate $290 flat rate" I accepted the offer and we scheduled for 9 days later. The detailer arrived at my home on time, but right off the bat said, "oh you have a dog, there is fur and mud, it will be $50/hour extra." I protested the last minute price change and he offered "well I can detail it for the quoted price but it likely won't get fully clean." I then reached out to the scheduler to make sure this was correct and they confirmed that is how they operate. Ultimately I declined to do business with MRG. Given how many 5* reviews MRG has this is super surprising to me. And yes my car was dirty, and there was dirt on the rear seat... thus the need for a cleaning, but in my opinion nothing extraordinarily gross (pictures attached). Now please allow me to editorialize a little bit: 1) If they noted this 'dogs extra' charge up front, so be it. But they did not. 2) If my car was excessively gross with filth, so be it. But it is not. 3) Pretty sure my twin toddlers were much messier than my dog. 4) Something like half of American households have dogs. It would be really simple to ask people if they have a dog or not as part of the estimation process. 5) Here's what "flat rate" means, from the dictionary: "A charge that is the same in all cases, not varying in proportion with something." So I guess the flat rate is not flat after all. 6) I have written 364 Yelp reviews over the past 12 years, and I'm very reluctant to give a 1-star review, having only done so 8 times previously. I hesitate to use the term 'bait and switch', but there I said it.

Unfortunately, I can't recommend this business after my experience today. In fact, I would highly…read morerecommend avoiding A1 at this point. I dropped my vehicle off around 8:10 a.m. for ceramic coating maintenance and discovered a new dent on the driver-side door immediately upon pickup around 12:30 p.m., before I had even entered the vehicle. I reported it immediately. I had inspected the vehicle that morning and am confident the damage was not present beforehand. While the surveillance footage was too grainy to prove exactly when the dent occurred, it showed multiple employees working near the damaged area. What concerned me most was learning that the shop normally photographs vehicles but chose not to photograph mine, supposedly because it was a "custom job," despite this being their standard annual ceramic maintenance service. The owner denied responsibility, suggested the dent could have been caused by a rock--which a professional dent repair shop subsequently told me was not consistent with the damage--and declined my requests for documentation and footage of the work being done. I understand accidents happen. What was disappointing was how the situation was handled once the damage was discovered. I will happily update this review if they choose to take responsibility for the damage they caused.

He was very apologetic and explained that there was a schedule mix up that day and he wanted to make it right. I decided to give them another try and booked another appointment with them for 1/9. I was not disappointed. The crew did a phenomenal job cleaning my vehicle!

Perfunctory work…read more Didn't really try to do a complete job. There was dirt between the door and the car, around the door handles, and next to other trim. Spots on the leather. Didn't dress the leather, which it really needed. There were still large stains on the rim under the hood; we asked them to work on it, but they said they couldn't, as it needs a hard brush to remove and they don't use that. Went home, spent 5 minutes with cleaning wax and it was basically gone. See photo for the before, they wouldn't touch this. This wasn't due to a very dirty car. They allocate 4 hours, but only took a bit over 3 hours, so it's not as if they spent lots of time on other parts. When I got home, I spent about 45 minutes completing the work they didn't do. Overall, a pretty meh job, especially for the price. Not horrible, just meh.
