The room was packed already when we got there and only one person was called back before me. I deducted a star because the front desk people are not the friendliest and when I asked a question after my xray, I was treated like I was an inconvenience. Your saving grace was definitely the tech that did my xray, she was extremely kind and patient, very comforting during an already stressful situation.

However, if you need an appointment as soon as possible, you have to call. The service over the phone is hit or miss, and mainly a miss. One person I talked to wouldn't look at the dates available unless I answered several time-wasting questions. I hung up because I was so frustrated, redialed the number and got another person who found me an appointment without asking me time-wasting questions. I needed an ultrasound to rule out a blood clot and the soonest they could get me in was at the end of September. After a call to my doctor's office to get them to revise the order to asap, and after several calls to Radnet, I was finally able to schedule an appointment for an ultrasound. As for this particular location in Murrieta, I give the ultrasound technician a thumbs up for the serene setting she created in her room. It was very zen-like. I wish we had more options to choose from in our area for scans. Radnet is such a disappointment when it comes to customer service!

However Maddy my technician who did my CT scan was the absolute best. I've never had such a professional, kind, supportive, informative lab technician who does CTs before. She even got me warm blankets because I'm always so cold. When it was done she helped me up and told me that my Dr will have the results back STAT. She made me feel comfortable and is phenomenal at her job. I sincerely hope that Maddy will be recognized and get the registration that she deserves. If there were more stars to give I'd give them all. That's how comfortable and kind she made me feel in a not so comfortable time.

However, when the MRI technician came to take me into the room and set up the machine, she seemed very careless and not very attentive. She briefly asked what kind of music I wanted, then closed the door and left. I asked how long the procedure would take, and I was told fifteen minutes. Once it started, the noise from the machine was extremely loud and suddenly caused me to develop a headache. I simply endured it for the full fifteen minutes. When it was finished and another staff member came in to open the machine and help me out, I mentioned what happened. He told me that next time I should ask for earplugs. I responded that I hope there won't be a next time soon, as this is not something I experience regularly. In my opinion, patients should be reminded in advance that the noise can be very loud and that ear protection is available. This discomfort could easily be prevented. I feel the staff need to be a bit more attentive and considerate, rather than just treating it as a routine task and moving on. Patients deserve more care and awareness.

I was surprised to see so many negative reviews for Crown Valley Imaging. I have been to the MV…read morelocation many times, including three times in 2025 and another time just last week (Jan. 2026). I have been to the Newport Beach location a couple times as well. Every time I have used CVI, I was treated very well by the people on the phone making my appointments, the people that call a few days before my appointment with the screening questions, the front counter people, and most of all, the Technicians. In MV, I recently worked with FIORELLA, DARREN, YALILA and LAURA. In NB, I have worked with MOSES. Every one of the Techs has been very friendly and accommodating. They make sure I am as comfortable as possible and explain to me what they will be doing. Obtaining the imaging results is easy too, whether it be a disk or hard-copy. I understand everyone is different and has different expectations, but I can honestly say I have never had a bad experience at CVI and often choose to go there. CVI and most of the Doctors I see, share the same software that allows the Doctors to view the images and results in their office as soon as CVI uploads the information, so I don't have to get the disk and results myself and bring them with me to my next Doctor's appointment.

He was able to answer all my questions and ease anxiety. The front desk team was equally impressive and efficient. Check in was a breeze. Upon arrival, show ID, provide insurance information, fill out intake paperwork, and wait for your name. Pretty standard. Inside was clean and welcoming with a big screen tv for those who are accompanying the patients. One thing to note is that if patients want to grab a cd there is a $10 charge per cd. Just fill out appropriate papers, sign some Hippa releases and the CD with imaging will be printed and the report printed for you separately after the radiologist has seen the images and made the report. Reports usually take about a week to be ready. My advice: wait out the report, come back and pay the $10 to have everything done and printed at the same time. Hot tip 2: parking is free, easy, and super accessible. The location of CVI is first floor and depending on where you park, right smack in the front of the building if parking from Los Altos/Plaza side.
