This is probably the worst experience I have ever had with a company…read more After dropping $28K (non-insurable damage) on remediation and reconstruction, my takeaway is that I should have listened to the constant red flags throughout the month-long process and just switched to a different contractor. You assume high dollar means high quality; throw the assumption out the window - apparently you can hire anybody off the street to do this work. First, before I could even sign a contract and pay a deposit, the remediation crew came unexpectedly knocking at my door to start work at 9am - the problem is that this was also BEFORE ASBESTOS TESTING. Servpro could have seriously endangered my house, my family, and their crew with mesothelioma due to incompetence - THIS IS INEXCUSABLE! Once the contract commenced, the remediation should have taken two days, but dragged on and on over three weeks due to laziness, being "too hot" (in spring), and I kid you not, being scared. Why these people signed up to do construction work if they are scared is beyond me, but the last thing you want to hear is that a $28K crew is "too scared" to complete a job. Every time the crew pretended to be finished, I had to expose myself to the damaged area to check over their work, point out the problems and get yelled at by office staff, and have the project manager come verify that low and behold, the client is not lying. In total the PM was at my home 5 times to ensure that the 22 line items in our contract were completed. Near the end of this process we uncovered an additional area with damage that needed an addendum, which does make getting quotes difficult if the initial estimate is not thorough. This additional work required two different remediation crews to complete since the office started catching on that the first crew was going to take too long. Luckily the reconstruction crew was completely different (a subcontractor) that actually did the job right the first time. They got their tasks knocked out over two days - and did it correctly without incident. Unfortunately for my timing, this all happened as the company exchanged franchisee owners, so everything will just be ignored as "old ownership problems", but the feedback here is not on ownership, but with the ethos of how this location can get by doing the bare minimum while charging top dollar; all with no accountability. I've been using mildew cleaner, but I am tired of doing that. This is a posting from Feb 2015 that I posted on Angie's List: "I contacted OMG around February 9th, 2015. They told me they could come on Feb 23, 2015 which I agreed. They caulked the tub and seams and told me they would be back the next week to clean the tile and fix it where I have different types of grout. They told me the caulk had to dry first. They charged me $125 to remove and replace the caulk which I could have done myself, but because they had such raving reviews I decided to let them come in and clean up the whole bathtub tile. The owner told me his wife would send an email invoice and let me know how much the re-grouting would cost. I haven't heard from them and it's been almost a month now. I don't go chasing contractors to do work for me, there are too many out there that want my business. I don't know who is writing the glorious reviews for OMG, but they have not impressed me at all. It is a criminal misdemeanor to put a yard sign in someone's yard without their permission. I called their main number and a lady answered and I told her about the sign. She just said if I don't like it then I can remove it and didn't seem to really care. Is not my job to remove their illegally placed signs and she did not offer to send the estimator back over and get it himself. Told her I wouldn't be doing business with them for this reason. I had my ASD spouse who can communicate via telephone (I cannot) call them and also fill in their website request form. That was in beginning of July. It is now August 15th. We still did not even get an appointment date. I have mobility impairment and my spouse has mobility limitation and because of that we cannot clean gutters ourselves. Meanwhile because of clogged gutters water has been pouring to the foundation and basement has been flooded all these days. I live in the basement because it is dark, quiet, and cold and I have sensory sensitivity to light, noise, and heat. Because of floods black mold has been growing in the basement and I have been exposed to it. Today I woke up from suffocating to death and found out that all my airways are blocked and I am bleeding from my mouth and my nose. I have asthma and exposure to black mold really did do its thing. While I appreciate that they provided information about the cleaning solution they use, the outcome speaks for itself. Whether it was the solution itself, the dilution, or insufficient rinsing, my plants were damaged despite my expressing this concern in advance. I'm very disappointed because this was the one issue I specifically asked them to avoid. The house was cleaned, but replacing a herb garden and flowers is both frustrating and expensive. First my bedroom had motor oil on the carpet that my husband had trekked in after working on our car a few weeks ago. I thought the carpet was a lost cause. However, Randy was able to remove all of the stains - great job cleaning. Also, he was on time. He called to give advance notice of his arrival. Perhaps best of all - He did NOT try to sell me additional services or products. Every other carpet cleaner that has came to my house has tried to double the price by adding on additional services. Randy gave me a great price and stuck to it! No high pressure sell tactics. Also, this past spring I used Cascade Services to pressure wash my house. They did an amazing job. Washed my patio as a courtesy and did it all for a great price! This is a business that feels like a neighbor or good friend! Highly recommend.

I didn't have the maintenance contract so it was a little expensive. They offer a nice array of maintenance contract choices, so I selected one. The next time, the price was... zero! For another issue, 59 dollars. Very experienced staff with a system that is under control. You call, you get an answer. Polite. Added bonus is that they do plumbing as well. Drained my outside spigot lines for the winter for free as part of the maintenance contract. Made some recommendations for my systems without any sales pressure and gave believable reasons for them. So I recommend them without reservation. Get a maintenance contract, even if it's the cheapest one. Pays for itself.

We have eight large, expensive HEPA air cleaners running constantly , and still had to dust DAILY. Further, the humidity in our home regularly measured 65% to 88% (87% as I write this). When I complained to the technicians (who allegedly performed maintenance/tuneups twice annually), they told me neither the dust or humidity problems had anything to do with the system they installed and maintained. I asked for an estimate to add a device for fresh air circulation, an air cleaner, and a whole house dehumidifier - never heard back! Not long ago, immediately after one of the maintenance visits, I opened the basement intake grill and found a dead mouse inches inside. How did the mouse get in if the system is sealed without openings, gaps, or leaks? And why didn't they see the mouse during their "tune up"? They did not check static pressure, did not check for duct or handler leaks - obviously did not seal the leaks they didn't even check for - did not even check humidity levels or clean the blower and other mechanisms - they took zero action to address my concerns. Then they claimed a $2000 repair was our fault for dust in the system - when that open air filter slot and multiple leaks in the actual unit and in ducts were violently sucking dirty air from the unfinished basement, attic and more - thanks to their faulty installation and negligence. And yet they told us the repair wasn't covered under warranty by attempting to blame us! Per my understanding, much of what they did violated international code standards and state/county code. I don't even know if they pulled a permit. Unbelievable.
