The staff at Azura are magnificent. The doctors are nice, with soft, warm, approachable energies, which is important, especially when having surgeries done. And the surgeries... I am one who is not keen on the idea of operations, incisions, and the likes. The mere thought of medical devices being left inside of me after surgery is a nightmare, fearing those nightmares in itself. The fears are turned into ketchup and latex, like so many children's monsters. It is the final stage of a visit; however, that is, as the children say today, the chef's kiss. (side note, even typing that is cringey as hell.) The ladies of the nursing staff (and I only say that because all of the nurses that I have dealt with have been women, but if there are men, I am sure they meet the same standards) are kind, sweet, funny, warm, and attentive. Their bedside manner should be more people's topside manner. (walking outside and everyday interactions.) The staff at Azura have been polite, friendly, understanding, and patient in EVERY interaction I have had with them (even bill collecting), and that has been all the more important for me as I am a new dialysis patient receiving a fistula. This entire process has been new and challenging, but this aspect here has been one of the most pleasant aspects. The staff here make having medical issues not so bad. After when I was lying on the table I couldn't sit up because the pain was so bad, and she just sat there and watched me. I felt demeaned and worse than when I came. When she lifted my shirt to massage my back, I had to ask her to close the door. Terrible experience. At the end of the session she said I might want to try somewhere else. She was 100% correct.

Diamond will hang up on you for asking her name and the whole office will cover saying none of them talked to you two minutes ago, how strange. Sheila Hofert is the absolute worst pediatrician we could have ended up with. We were transferred to her after our original pediatrician moved to a further location. She is a nightmare, refuses to communicate with the parents unless you're there in person, there's nothing about our experience with this person that says she's genuinely concerned for the patient. If you need a school physical or vaccines any clinic will do, but if you want a doctor who cares about their patients, a front desk staff that doesn't get away with lying to parents and their boss William, run fast and far. Some doctors go above and beyond for the welfare of their patients, not Hoffert though! One issue you need their help with and you won't get a response from her or her front desk staff. We're pulling our 4 kids out of there ASAP. Good luck if you end up here, you'll need it.

I've had to advocate for myself to the point of major frustration as he's done nothing to help. My first appointment after the fall, the only exam he had me do was to stand on my tippy toes. He didn't inspect the area, no troubleshooting other than to stand on my Tippy toes. He discouraged me from getting X-rays as he said they wouldn't show anything which is fine, but I wanted to rule out any possible fractures. Ive had to beg for pain medicine to help me through as my back heals. Eventually he prescribed me 5mg which is the lowest possible dose. I'm a 6'4 330lb man, the 5mg literally did nothing. I called and left two messages as the pain has been so great, he had his nurse call and tell me there's nothing more he can do. They make much higher doses that could help, yet he says there's nothing he can do. I've never felt so unheard and unhelped and I don't understand why he's become this way. It's disheartening to have a doctor who when you need them to help you, clam up and become to afraid to do something to keep you comfortable so You can function while your body heals. After this last appointment with Ebright, I'll be moving to another doctor. I understand not overprescribing, but when a patient is in pain while their body is healing, this is an appropriate time to Prescribe the medicines available to keep the patient comfortable during the interim. My last appt w/ Jessica A was 10/12, I had been a patient of hers for 4-5 yrs. I would never recommend her. She never took me seriously. My last appt was w/ her on 10/12 I went to see her b/c I had bern experiencing pain upon sex. She ran some simple blood tests & did an exam. On my f/u she said there is nothing else I can do for you. She never sent me for an ultrasound.. I knew I was never going back to see her. 4/13 I saw Margaret Cyzeski a gynecologist. She also blew me off (see my yelp review). 3/14 I had surgery to remove my left cyst which was 8cm. I had stage 5 endimetrosis w/ extreme scarring. Lt ovary was removed & so was my uterus. Lt ovary was extremely damaged & could not be saved. I have a cyst & endometrioma in Rt ovary which my new competant gynecologist is trying to control through medication. She did a great job also w/ the surgery.

I scheduled a follow up appointment with her this week after being seen in the emergency room over the weekend. This office is only open on Tuesdays and Thursdays hours of 9-5 and it took me two days to even speak with someone from the office. I was being sent to the emergency service DURING BUSINESS HOURS because for some reason they were not answering their phones. I arrived at the office on the day and time of my scheduled visit for them to tell me that they stopped accepting my insurance 6 MONTHS AGO!! although I had an emergency visit around that time and was not notified of any issues. I even called over the phone before arrival to let them know I would be a few minutes late.. again, no one thought it would be beneficial to tell me that my insurance was not accepted. UNPROFESSIONAL!!

Parking was free and easy as was the check-in process. My testing started promptly on time and ended quickly. The facility was clean and organized. The tech who worked with me was delightful! I went home with tons of new Mediterranean restaurants to try. Loved my conversations with her. It made my otherwise invasive testing process feel more pleasant. I wouldn't hesitate recommending this location for any imaging needs in the future. It's a lot better than the Bethesda one by a large margin even with the drive.

They get busy and the waiting room is full at peak hours. The Breast CA doctor who reads mammograms and performs ultrasounds (sorry can't remember your name) is absolutely lovely. She speaks Spanish beautifully and her bedside manner is superb. I call her my guardian angel because you just don't find doctors like her these days. I've also had X-rays, ultrasounds and MRIs here and will keep returning.
