Dr. Bradford Ebright is a good doctor. However, some the office staff, especially those making financial policies, are extremely obnoxious and offputting. They actually wanted me to give them my credit card number for the file so they could just charge me as they pleased. They are delusional. They care more about a $38 bill, just over 30 days old, than they care about the results of the care that they failed to provide on my last visit. They haven't called me to follow up on my illness, just to collect their fee. I do not recommend this practice any more. Everyone who went there on my recommendation has subsequently left. I'm the last holdout and I am fed up. I have been a patient of Chapel View for over a decade. It seems that when you need them the most, their priority is getting paid, not serving your need. I was feeling very bad in the winter of 2017 when I, at the suggestion of a colleague, checked my blood pressure with a wrist cuff. It was pretty high but I didn't trust the cuff so I called Chapel View. All I needed was a quick blood pressure check but, the receptionist insisted that it was not possible without an appointment. She insisted that they couldn't accommodate my request. My blood pressure was getting worse through this experience so I went to the ER. Upon arrival in the ER, my blood pressure was 215/130. My point is that customer service takes a back seat to cashflow at Chapel View. I I'm sending them a check today for $38 and looking for another doctor. You see ladies, I have a choice and I choose to end my relationship with Chapel View Family Care. read more

Absolutely the worst family care doctor in Perry hall, please check your receipts they charge for fraudulent care. They do not care about you or your loved one, they only care about the money. Don't bother with this practice. This was our general practitioner and I called one Friday afternoon because I was having very bad pain. I practically begged them to squeeze me in for a visit that day. They said they couldnt, and that the next appointment I could get was the following Wednesday. I've NEVER heard of a doctors office who flat out turned down their patients during a time of need. Not to mention, the front office staff is extremely rude. I was a patient here for a couple years but thatcame to an end today. I had to get some FMLA paper work filled out for my upcoming baby. I had to make an appointment and they told me they were going to charge $30 for filling it out. Fine, no problem here. A week later I see a $74 charge on top of the original $30. Why charge me the $30 when you're already charging the original appointment fee, all for a 2 page form?? Double dipping just to make a few bucks off the patient. Chapel View Family Care treats its patients like a number. They do not take any personal care or interest in their patients well being. Their office is focused on the money and office rules. This doctors office runs as a clinic or urgent care. The office staff from receptionists all the way to the doctors and billing treat patients with a condescending better then everyone else attitude. If you are interested in compassionate care do not use Chapel View Family Care. They are not trying to help families. read more

The doctors here are competent, but I have never had a worse experience with staff than at this office. They are rude, unprofessional, and about as incompetent as it gets. I would give this place less than one star if I could. I have had the same harrassment and billing issues that other reviewers here are complaining about in spite of how ridiculous and unnecessary that is. They also informed my mother that the office supervisor has instructed the staff how to treat me. Did I mention that I'm 41 and have NOT authorized anyone in this office to discuss anything about me with my parents? To top that off, the actual doctors admit to not being able to control their staff or stop this behavior. Call me crazy, but I believe a doctor's office should be run by doctors. read more

We picked the right place! Dr. Ebright is the most patient and caring doctor we have ever met. He is not only smart and professional, but he genuinely cares for his patients. My husband was quite nervous about having his blood drawn, and Dr. Ebright recommended one of the lovely and accommodating nurses, Ms. Lauren, for the procedure. She kept him calm with her efficiency and kind words. Dr. Ebright later went over the blood work with diligence. We feel so comfortable with their office and we are so grateful we found them. You can look at their pictures online through the website. Dr. Ebright looks polished yet sheepish and Ms. Lauren is the attractive tall lady. Unfortunately, the older front office ladies can be a tad slow since a majority of seniors tend to have difficulty with the technology of computers, but the place still warrants 5 stars. read more

I was a patient here for over 30 years. No complaints about DR Ebright or previous staff. All were 5 stars. Over the past year DR Ebright replaced his staff with the most pathetic, ignorant bunch of nurse practitioners and medical assistants ever. He has scraped the bottom of the barrel to find this bunch. I left my name for Ebright to call me before I moved the entire family elsewhere but never heard from him. Wrong, wrong, wrong! Without going into my issue I was double charged for an unresolved issue. I go in for a problem and that stupid NP Cassey kept saying that they don't make any money on me. She kept pointing out that I had toe nail fungus and should be treated. I told her to look at my record that I was treated several times there but now I'm allergic to the medicine. Get back to my issue. Then that dumb NP started to point out my eczema. I explained that it's numular eczema that is autoimmune from the small pox vaccine and nothing can be done about it according to all the specialists that I had seen. She was insisting on giving me a flu shot and said I needed it. I told her I had one once and I got many upper respiratory illnesses from it including croop for a period of 10 months. She had the fucking balls to say I shouldn't come back unless they could make money off of me. In other words, she wanted to make me sick so I would keep coming back regularly. I was double charged. Me and my family have found a great practice with a real doctor and good PA's. I hope you do too. Oh, in case you didn't know, Patient First charges the same deductible as your insurance and they analyze blood work on the spot along with x-rays on the spot. You can also receive IV fluids there and they keep you until well. They also fill your prescriptions on the spot. Good luck to all you unsuspecting fools. Shame on you Ebright for getting gready and bringing in the trash. I am a critical care medical professional for over 30 years. I know quality from scrapes. Fire that bunch! Very good doctors but the office staff can be very rude. They look for reasons to deactivate you as a patient. When I requested office manager call me she never did. The doctors have no say so in how there practice is ran very sad. After being a patient there for over 20 years when practice first opened and now to be treated the way I was it was very heartbreaking. read more

Chapel View has the worst customer service, bedside manner and overall can not be trusted let alone respected. They are extremely difficult to deal with and only care about the almighty dollar. Small minded at best. The only person here I can say anything good about is the petite woman who draws blood. I don't trust them, they act bothered to be seeing you, they make up reasons for you to come in just to make a dollar bill after 2 mos and won't refill standard presciptions a year at a time. I feel sorry for anyone else who has experienced the poor service not to mention quality I have here. Do not go here. The doctors are idiots. Are they real doctors?? Furthermore, they make you pay for your OWN medical records. I have never in almost 40 years!!! They are my medical history and now I have to go through a third party to have them released and they take two plus weeks to get plus I have to pay for. Utterly ridiculous read more

My family has gone here for several years however we have now reached the point where we have to leave and establish another pcp. The only reason we haven't left is because it is close to home and transferring of medical records etc..the office now deems it necessary to keep a credit card on file to charge any necessary cost, which is absurd! Worst part is another office keeps the cc information so multiple hands will have your cc number. There have been times when we called weeks in advance to reschedule and was still charged a missed appointment fee because the staff failed to cancel the original appointment. We've had to fight to not be charged the missed fee. The pcp refuses to do a full physical on my dad each year because he goes every 6months for monitoring medications. So he never ends up getting everything checked. There have been times when you are told to sit down and wait to be called for check in however they forget about you. Anytime my mother goes for appt and needs blood work, they make her come back for a 2nd appointment even though she makes them aware that she will need blood drawn prior to scheduling the appointment. I have seen Dr. Salvo here for many years. I have found the office to be inviting and the service to be prompt. Dr. Salvo is really smart and listens to my concerns. The staff has always been friendly and helpful. With regard to keeping credit card information...we give our credit card information to Amazon and other service providers. I do not think that a doctor's office should be any different. read more

My family has been going to Chapel View since 1990. I realize that places change and that we have to keep up with modern technology. However, the people they have in the front office now seem to be lacking training. They are not very personable and my husband had a bad experience with one of them scolding him for no reason. Don't waste your time! My initial visits with this office were okay, I enjoyed the doctor but the support staff was lacking from the beginning. I'm guessing because they work with an older population, they assume you don't know jack crap about healthcare and your policy so they speak really slowly and repeat themselves repeatedly for the cheap seats in the back. Aug, 2014 the practice began holding a credit card on file to be able to charge services that will not be covered by your insurance. No notice of this policy change was sent to clients, so when I went to my appointment in November, I initially told the receptionist that i did not want a card held, as I was not comfortable with the practice being able to charge my card at will. She assured me that I would be given notice prior to being charged. What she didn't tell me is that a week following my appointment, I would be charged WITHOUT NOTICE and then charged a decline fee once the charges didn't go though. I immediately contacted my insurance company that was shocked that a week after my appointment, i was being charged in full a balance to my credit card; especially because they'd already cut a check to the practice that had just not yet been received. When I called to speak to the Office Manager, Capree, she again spoke to me as if I was a complete idiot (now I see where the rest of the staff gets it from). Considering this was a new policy and there was a misunderstanding of the policy, i would've expected some leniency, HA! It took 20 minutes of going round and around the policy and the holes in it for her to finally get tired, but not before stating: 'you're no longer going to be a patient here, that's the note I see here, is that correct?' HA! You're dang on right! bye, bye! I'll take my poor "Obamacare" elsewhere...much to their relief, I'm sure! If you want the hassle, then by all means, have fun with Chapel view! But if you want my advice, there are thousands of other doctors out there that will gladly work with you. read more
