I have nver had a better experience with anything health wise than what he did for me. I had no pain whatsoever after surgery and no complications with anything. Also my sight is now 20-20 and cant believe how excited i am to have it back. If you need cataract surgurey this is the place to go.

They took no responsibility and shrugged us off as if we were unimportant and wrong. I would not use this doctor, or this practice, and I would be EXTREMELY careful about letting your elderly relatives use it as well, totally careless and irresponsible!

However, I will say, never before had an MD spent time with me, explaining why they are testing my eyes for glaucoma and why they were "watching" rather than doing anything. All testing was done in-house and results returned on the same day. No need to reschedule for a "testing day" as was the policy with my previous ophthalmologists. Dr. Gupta's commitment to me, as a patient was impressive AND his office staff was professional, kind and helpful, as well. I don't say this very often, but this is a place I would enjoy working. The atmosphere is friendly and welcoming. I have already scheduled my 2022 annual appointment. I have finally secured a place for my eye care!

I wanted contacts for use with my virtual reality headset and hadn't used contacts for over 20 years. After a brief wait, I received an efficient expert-level exam and smart conversation with Dr. Brandys. Nice dealing with someone who has personality. The optician's were all great afterwards too. I have 3 sample packs of contacts to try so we get the best match for my VR unit. He gave me near, far and mono lenses and I didn't need to buy any until we figure out which are best. On top of that, everyone was operating with good cheer in what is clearly a healthy work environment. Great find!

I told the front desk that I changed purses and inadvertently left my license in that purse, she said oh, I understand however our policy is you have present it at the time of service. She then picked up her cell phone and called who I am assuming was her manager to explain the situation. Now, from where I was standing I could hear the responses...this person, stated absolutely not, I had to have my drivers license or state I.D. right now or I could not be seen. I told the receptionist as soon as I got home I could upload my I.D. into the patient portal; her posture remained the same. She was told I have credit cards, that match my name, not to mention I completed all office forms with the same identification. Still no go...I certainly understand policy, however there has to be a little give. Why couldn't they just see me?? If I did not provide the I.D. they could have just not scheduled any further appointments until provided. The front desk was not friendly at all and not very customer oriented. One year I was stuck with my son, husband and myself all needing new glasses at the same time and we worked out an arrangement that didn't kill us. The usual deal is that you pick out your frames, place half down and the rest at delivery of the glasses which is usually about a week. This is a small business, not like Pearl Vision or For eyes--which means that the same people that waited on you last year will be there next year. The prices are a bit more because of this, but so is the quality of customer service.

If you have macular degeneration and a cataract in same eye, I suggest you choose a doctor with more experience.
