This time I waited 5 weeks before I went in and received a refund for glasses that never came in. The wait times are absolutely ridiculous. Dr. Jones was wonderful, but the staff including the manager really let you down. Their brand promise on their website promises to deliver outstanding care and quality service. I speak of the Orland Park location and had a brief conversation with Oak Lawn. My experience with Dr. Katsoulakis and Dr. O. Donnell were more than satisfying. However, it appears that there is no way to reach them if necessary after the office visit. I am sorry to learn that the aftercare appears not important. Perhaps that is the Krates structure.

Upon entering a lady greeted me and instructed me to browse the frames and completed paperwork on tablet. I had my protests done by tech Liz who was friendly. Next was on to Dr. Lauren Haddad who was nice, friendly too. She listened to my concerns and was easy to talk to. Next was the sales advisor Jacob who was ok. He was a bit off on measuring my pupils. The manager Lupe got things on track and was professional, friendly and helpful regarding frame suggestions. I see why they got good reviews. Team seem to work well together. After completing all of the forms, providing my…read moreinsurance cards and arriving 15 mins.early for my appointment, I was denied service as I had left my state driver's license at home in error. I told the front desk that I changed purses and inadvertently left my license in that purse, she said oh, I understand however our policy is you have present it at the time of service. She then picked up her cell phone and called who I am assuming was her manager to explain the situation. Now, from where I was standing I could hear the responses...this person, stated absolutely not, I had to have my drivers license or state I.D. right now or I could not be seen. I told the receptionist as soon as I got home I could upload my I.D. into the patient portal; her posture remained the same. She was told I have credit cards, that match my name, not to mention I completed all office forms with the same identification. Still no go...I certainly understand policy, however there has to be a little give. Why couldn't they just see me?? If I did not provide the I.D. they could have just not scheduled any further appointments until provided. The front desk was not friendly at all and not very customer oriented.
