I made an appointment online for my very first facial in January and couldn't wait to go in. Christine is honestly one of the nicest people I've ever met, she is so easy to talk to. When I walked in she greeted me right away and had me fill out a form with information about my skin. We went over it and I pointed out areas of concern. She was very understanding and informative. This is was my first facial/ Micro dermabrasion I had ever received. I found Chris/Advanced Skin Solutions on Groupon. After doing quite a bit of research on different on aestheticians, their product and services I decided to go with Chris and could not have been more pleased. When I first contacted Chris she was knowledgeable, patient with all of my questions and accommodating. She got me squeezed in on short notice. The office is decorated very chic like. Her room is a spacious with a candle lit glow and soft music in the background- put you right at ease. She got some information for me and went straight in to my Microderm and facial, which was extremely relaxing. I loved it so much I purchased one for my boyfriend. He went if you days after me and was amazed be her skill. I love Heather! I've only ever had waxing here but I'm positive she does an excellent job on the facials as well. I have gone all over the place looking for the right lady to do my bikini waxes taking into account price and comfort level. Heather is by far my favorite. I have been going to her for almost a year now! And I don't plan on changing any time soon. Another plus about Heather is she can be pretty flexible with her time. Chris is one of the best therapist I have ever visited. She gave me the best facial I've had in my life, for a totally fair price and with the upmost care. Her studio is tucked in in the back of a building and could be hard to find, but inside is beautiful and comfortable and spacious. Chris was phenomenal, I'm a pretty tense and busy girl so anytime for relaxation is appreciated but sometimes hard to do! This facial definitely did not feel like I got a great deal on it.. I've had Groupon deals that were rushed and obviously made to cut costs so you get what you pay for. This was completely different, Chris took her time and I nearly fell a sleep! The entire appointment was so spiritual and relaxing. I have fairly sensitive skin and got a little red after the microdermabrasion (not anymore the usual) but Chris made a point of it to text me the following day to check on my skin. She was even sent a thank you note. I couldn't be more pleased with the kindness, attention to detail, and care that Chris took. I went there yesterday for waxing. Heather does an amazing job and is so nice. I went to her for a Brazilian and it was leaps and bounds less painful that the other lady I had been going to. Went in for a facial and Katie was very nice and accommodating. The entrance is actually off of pennsylvania street in an unassuming gray building on the first floor. The facial was an hour long and was totally relaxing. It's a nice quite spa that does everything from facials to waxing. I came in for wax with a good hair length, a lot of my hair didn't get waxed completely, later that day I got skin infection and red dots everywhere. Few days later more hair started growing out.
