Worst awkward experience ever !! Waxer Angel was so rude and unprofessional, to start with she took me to a room said to change and left me , I saw a dirty hoody, she was so quick saying what I needed to do that I assumed I have to change to what was hanging there , when she came back in the room I told her I'm not comfortable wearing that as it's dirty ! She gave me a look like as if I didn't know what was suppose to be done ! And herself refused to take it off my hands !! Anyways next step was to wipe and the wipe had fallen I requested her to pick up so I could wipe if nessasary , she refused to pick that up saying it's fine if you don't want to ! Then when the session started , when she pulled my wax , by mistake I tried holding her as a reflex,she clearly told me ,Please don't touch me !! That was so awkward which had happend out of accident, then as for the job I kept telling her to wax here end there as I felt she was not doing all of it , not intrested at all ! And she kept telling me oh I don't see any hair there so just did half heartedly leaving most of the areas behind !! Lady! I run a salon too , such bad customer service you are giving to people , if you don't like what you do ! You don't have to make the clients suffer At the end I really didn't feel like paying for all the bad experience I had but I didn't want to deal with her any longer so paid and left ! They offered à new free client deal on Instagram. Am all for helping new trainees etc but they canceled and rescheduled 3xs in the last 3 days. The latest booking went 3 and a half weeks out. It just seems like the organization of the scheduling isnt being handled very well for offering such a big post on social media. Another plus is you can book via text message so if you're someone who doesn't like to talk on the phone, then text message is the way to go. I tried to call at first, but it went to voicemail. I then got a text message and was able to schedule right on my phone. Don't be alarmed as it does ask you to put in a card number to secure your appointment! It was very simple and quick. We love efficiency, am I right ladies? I was scheduled with Phalyn and honestly, I'm so glad I found her. I started getting Brazilian waxes about 3 years ago and I have only been to one person. Brazilian waxing is such an intimate service so of course you want to find the right licensed waxologist to service you. Phalyn exceeded my expectations and I felt a great rapport with her. We talked as if we've known each other and I love that kind of connection with people! The price was a little more than what I used to pay, but it's not something I have an issue with due to the fact that the place is highly sanitary and it overall gives me a luxury feel. Everything is quite modern in the facility. Please note that for the Brazilian it is soft wax and not hard wax. I'm not sure if most places are like this, but I prefer the soft wax because it really grips all the hair. First off, I loved the whole atmosphere of this place. It's super clean. I love it's aesthetic. I been looking for a waxing place since moving from Tahoe. I needed my eyebrows done.. and almost everywhere was booked out a week or two... and even in Tahoe it was always booked two weeks in advance. I found this place by google and IM SO HAPPY I DID. They got me in THE SAME DAY. It says "speed waxing" but I was not rushed or felt rushed in anyway. My Waxer was Bianca and she was a blessing. Very friendly and VERY detailed oriented. She convinced me to get a Brazilian... and even that was as painless as it could be ( we all know it hurts) but it was pretty doable. I normally get waxed at European wax center and have been getting waxed for several years. I can tell you I've had good and bad experiences there. I decided to try this new place and I wasn't all that thrilled. I had a wax a little over 4 weeks prior to my first appointment at Radiant waxing, so my hair was good length. The place is clean and comfortable. My waxer was May and she was pleasant and talkative. The reasons I won't be going back is the soft wax that was used. I feel like not all hair was removed, on top of that it was more painful that hard waxing and previous waxing experiences. My skin was on fire after my wax. Could be just sensitive skin issues which I've never had before or the type of wax? I don't know. But for those reasons I won't be going back. I guess I'm a hard wax type of gal. read more
