Need a peaceful Retreat and a skincare tune-up? Look no further than faces365 Spa in Old Fair Oaks. They've been here since August of last year and it's a real gem. The space is large and beautifully decorated, one feels immediately at ease. The owner Erin greets you and helps you decide what service you might want. For my first time, we decided on the vitamin C facial. I'm 59, so I figured anything rejuvenating would be great. The waiting area is very tranquil and she offers you water or tea. The place is spotless. The very excellent Briana, my esthetician, took care of me from there on out. One thing that really stands out for me about this Spa is that the rooms are large, almost like a bedroom. So many Spas have tiny closets with a rickety cot in them, and paper thin walls. Their four rooms are spacious, private and welcoming. The beds are feather soft. Brianna made sure to take care of my every need, as I have a bad back and neck...she was very thoughtful about that. She also seemed very knowledgeable about skin problems. I highly recommend the vitamin C facial which starts at 60 bucks for first timers. The Citrus smell, combined with the Steam and then warm towels and a firm yet comfortable neck and shoulder massage unravels all your worries :-) Although they do have a lot of product in the front, they don't push it on you. It was only when I asked for advice on a cleanser that Briana told me the options. The location in Charming Old Fair Oaks Village is perfect and I like to support local small businesses :-). I will definitely be coming back. The prices for their services and product are quite reasonable compared with others in the area. I took my acne prone preteen in for her very first teen facial and I must say we had a pleasant experience. We felt completely comfortable from the moment we called to book the appointment, to the very end. My daughters appointment with esthetician Kelsea. My daughter and she was gentle with the extractions and her facial was very soothing. I enjoyed chatting with her as well. I am a member and first joined at the Roseville location. I live in Folsom now and so visited the Fair Oaks location. I am so happy I did!! The Owner, Erin, is friendly and helpful and obviously cares about her clients. The location is clean and really really cute inside! I was even offered a complimentary glass of wine while I waited!! Within a month of services and using recommended products, I had that pregnancy glow I had heard so much about. People commented on how good I looked and I was hooked. I was a long time client of Kristina, the owner of the previous business before it was sold, and was always more than happy with my eyelash extensions. I gave the new business a chance and these were my results. Rachel, esthetician, literally put CLUMPS OF FAKE LASHES per my real lashes. Consequently, they were hard to brush through because I could not comb through the glue, lasted only 4 days before completely falling out or flipping, and looked completely unnatural, ugly, and honestly, embarrassing. I made an appointment here before a trip I was taking because it was cheaper than European Wax Center which is where I usually go. I got there and it's very easy to find and it's cute inside. Everyone greeted me and was super nice and offered me water like 10 times. I got there early so I sat down and waited my turn as she was still with a client. The girl came out and I forgot her name but she said she was the only esthetician that worked there. I went in for a Brazilian and full leg wax. I am not new to waxing and I thought it would be an hour maybe a little more. It took more than 2 hours and i was not prepared for that and honestly I was a little annoying as I had to be at work at 4 and I left at 4:10 and I told the girl I had work at 4! All she said was 'sorry I forgot'. During the service the girl was super nice and I liked her but she was just super slow and was one of those people who can't talk and do something at the same time. Also I had to point out areas she didn't get on my legs and I mean big areas. I left and the guy at the front said to me 'that took a long time huh' like YES MAN IT DID even he knew! Soooo long. I went home and looked more at the job she did and the Brazilian was okay - not the best there were lots of hairs she didn't get. And my legs were super uneven and she did not get all of it at all! So annoying I will never go here again. read more
