    How embroidered image turned out.
    Big M.

Sent in a youth sports logo to get embroidered and went through an approval process. The online approval and in person images showed white in the background of the P, and there was no effort to explain that the embroidery image is blank in the center. I even showed the person, who helped me when I brought in the products, the current embroidered shirt I own and she mentioned how much they matched. Considering that the image has a red border around the P and my hat and shirt are red, the lack of contrast should have been brought up to me at that point at least. However the main reason for the 1 star, is their resolution for this issue is for me to bring in two new item and pay 50% to embroider. I've never had anything embroidered so I definitely take some of the blame for the L. Images are attached.

I wanted to get a name (Michael) embroidered onto a blanket (4 inches long) so I started off calling two other places and they quoted me 20-25$ with a timeframe of 7-10 days. Luckily I decided to get a 3rd option and called advanced stitchworks! These guys were not only friendly and helpful, they only charged me 15$ and had it ready the next day. Never going anywhere else. Just make sure you are very specific in where you want it placed and what direction it should face. Mine needed up upside down from where I wanted it, but it's my fault for not being clearer. It's also not a big deal for this particular blanket, but it's good to know for next time!

I told him that I needed to embroider three lab coats. He had me write on the form what I wanted then showed me the binder with fonts and thread colors. I told him that I wanted Garamond with royal blue thread then he typed it up on his software for me to proofread. He was able to adjust the spacing and it was perfect. Afterwards, he showed me on the lab coat of where it would be then decided to make the size from 4" to 3.5". He reassured me that the seamster will make it look good. I was planning to pay with a credit card but he would have to charge an extra 3% so I paid cash. The price was reasonable and he said the coats will be ready on Wednesday which is only three business days. I appreciate his patience and staying after hours to help me. I called four days later to confirm that the job was ready for pick up and it was. I told the lady what I was picking up and she knew exactly what I was talking about. The job they did was stunning! They do amazing work and provide great customer service. I am definitely a customer for life and I highly recommend this place.

She's simply direct, efficient, and very kind. The embroidery work is top-notch, pricing is fair, and the turnaround time is unbeatable. There is an adorable shop up front of perfectly curated fabrics, sewing accessories, projects, and small treasures while the mid area of the space opens into a creative shared table area. If you venture past the rainbow quilts all the way to the back you will find a treasure trove of Juki sewing machines, set to host a group of new to advanced sewers along with a large table area in the back for a variety of craft projects. My children are in 1st and 4th grade and enjoyed the 2 part Crochet class. When it was a bit difficult for my younger one, Debbie scaffolded the entire thing and made it possible for her to learn, feel successful, and feel like part of the group. We have also tried the finger knitting blanket class and now my 4th grader can make gorgeous blankets for friends and family. The sewing classes for 8+ are incredible. My eldest has loved going in to learn how to make tote bags, pillow cases, and a variety of other sewing projects. They also have camps, which we are eager to try someday. Most recently we hosted a very special birthday party here and I can share that it was incredible, lovely, and probably the most present I've ever been able to be at one of my kid's birthday parties, considering Debbie took on most of the labor! 11 children made pillows together, along with adorable rainbow keychains and they really had a blast. I was so impressed to see my little one sewing away on the machine with her dad next to her and the older kids jump right in. Many of them made 2-3 little pillows, even though they had never sewn before! Debbie's instruction is clear, easy to follow, and she has a great deal of patience while sharing how to create these masterpieces. It was really nice having mochi ice cream in the middle table area too- Debbie had everything needed for a party in case things were forgotten. The little fridge helped too! It was very reasonably priced and an unforgettable experience for the kids. We hope Meraki will be on this cute corner for many years to come!

After spending almost an hour setting up an order on their website (with an AI assistant constantly trying to push stuff on you), there was no confirmation email. I called the next day to see if the order got through. A sleepy gentlemen answered the phone and mumbled apathetically that he'd check and get back to me. He never did. I left a message the next day, asking for a call back to find out if my order had come through. I got a text on my phone the next day, reading: "Thank you for reaching out to The Best Screen Printing company. Please send us your design, when you need it by, size breakdown and quantity for your order at sales@tbsp.la to get a free quick quote.". So we were back to square one, with 3 days just out the window. I emailed them and explained that I had submitted an order through their website days earlier. They emailed back and said they wouldn't honor that order. They told me if I wanted to pick up any t-shirt by Monday, they'd use a lower-quality (!) t-shirt and charge an additional $20 above the additional rush order fees they had already added. I never write reviews, but here I felt compelled to.

Instead…read moreof addressing the issues and how they damage hundreds of dollars worth of my hoodies with their careless employees, they ask yelp to remove my review. So here it goes again, even better this time. I have been dealing with this company for over 4 years. They were pompous and arrogant the entire time I worked with them. They have no regard for their customers and they're only looking to make money. They have blatantly printed my stuff wrong multiple times, but I have worked with them and been patient with their printer for the sake of my business. I had an order of hoodies printed for some big celebrity clients, and they were the same hoodies I've been printing with them since 2020. I had other hoodies in the order, but this one in particular was the one that got damaged. In this industry men don't respect women at all, and they expect us to just do whatever they say and take whatever they give. The damage hoodies, I'm referring to were printed as a set of five. The print was blatantly wrong and crooked, completely not centered, and he was so rude about it. The ONLY printer in their company that knows how to print is so careless with everyone's order that you literally have to just hope and pray your order is done right. The owners of this company do not care about anything but money and they especially don't care about the employees. That's not an excuse to treat people poorly and take peoples hard earned money. The customer service is horrible, the attention of detail is horrible, these people are just money hungry, arrogant business owners. The people that run this company have no idea how to print anything and all they look for is mass orders of basic printing, so that they can get their money out of people and go onto the next client. They have no structure in their business and they are extremely rude to women. If you are a woman and you go in there, they expect you to be brainless, even when they're wrong about how to run their own machines. This experience with them over the past couple years has been a nightmare ever since they fired the actual people who actually cared about their customers and took the time to make sure the work was done correctly. In the middle of the pandemic, they fired so many hard workers and it was really sad. I am permanently disabled, and the discrimination that I have dealt with in this office has been nothing less than stressful while trying to recover from surgery and run my business. They don't even have an office anymore that clients can come in. I spoke to the sales person and he said that he was at home and that he couldn't tell me who the boss was-- which is a lie. When you go to drop off your orders the shop is dirty, there's paint everywhere, there's no organization. The work environment has not been good for a long time, but due to business needs, I made sacrifices and did whatever I could. I've referred this company to so many people and I regret doing so because they are horrible people.
