Pick up and delivery was also spot on, extreme care was give to our furniture when it was picked up and delivered. Being this was the first time we had any furniture reupholstered I wasn't sure if we made the right decision, but decided to move forward after we went furniture shopping. Having our old furniture returned to us better than new was way more than we expected and we are thrilled with the decision we made and the company we chose. Everyone we dealt with was courteous and professional. We are now planning to redo our dinnng room chairs and will be using Off the Bolt from now on. Thanks for a great experience!

The hall has high ceilings with exposed beams. Which I loved. Only challenge was the ugly fluorescent bar lights and AC vents. But we made it work with string lights and paper lanterns and it really turned the place around. Everyone loves how the hall looked and I was very happy with how it turned out. Overall it was a great location for our wedding reception. I recommend it if your up to the challenge and have a specific look in mind like we did.

She has been there for over a year now. The staff are all wonderful and I know they really care for my children, which makes it a lot easier to leave them in their care. The class was scheduled for 2 hours. We ended an hour early with an end product that was a bit underwhelming. Our instructor was friendly enough, though never introduced herself nor took the time to ask the class (all 3 of us) our names. I wrote a letter to the owner and never got a response back. Highly unlikely I will return. Below is the letter I sent, including a few other underwhelming aspects to the class: "Hello! I took last evening's Macrame Weaving workshop. As I was driving back to Long Beach last evening after the class, I had some time to reflect on the workshop. I signed up for it to learn a new skill that I could potentially teach my students. (I've been an Art Teacher for many years). Unfortunately, I feel very disappointed with the class as a whole, as well as with our end result product. I believe the owner was there last evening; I regret not having pulled her aside to chat, though I wasn't quite clear on how I felt about the class until I was on my ride home. Our instructor was very friendly and I so appreciate the use of the high quality organic cotton cord. I also appreciated the hand out with the images of various knot styles. However, I don't even know what our instructor's name was. She never introduced herself or asked our names - there were only two other participants besides myself. We ended class nearly an hour early. This feels like a waste of project making and learning time. Either the project we did was too simple or our instructor wasn't thoroughly prepared. Her instruction was okay, though I don't think it is very helpful to physically do something for the student which she did a number of times. I believe it is more helpful to walk them through it verbally while allowing them to do it to experience the motions and acquire muscle memory. Craft is a great space! We registered 5 weeks summer camp mainly in Pasadena, but it started a week after summer vacation so we had to find something for them and Thank God! Yes, it was the answer. You can take one of the classes they offer as part of their regular catalog, or for a little more, you can create your own class with a group of friends. I opted for the latter, and we had an *incredible* time. I put together two separate groups of a dozen of us, and we made stunning kiln-carved glass plates that I continue to use today. The process was made simple courtesy of the studio's talented staff. They broke the instructions down into bite-sized pieces for us. All we did was follow their step-by-step instruction on what to do to create our unique works of art. They were also available to all of us to help when we got stuck, had questions, or needed some extra talent. The staff also made the kiln-carving process easier for us by taking care of all the kiln work. All we did was select our materials and create our designs. They sent it through the kiln for the two-part fusion so we didn't need to come back after the first fire. Don't know where to start? Wanted fabric taken from it along with new patterned fabric incorporated to create a new patchwork quilt. Was told it would take about 3 months to complete. Discussed in length the types of new patterned fabric she would incorporate as well as marking the squares I wanted her to incorporate from the older quilt. The cost was over $600 and she wanted the entire amount up front. Paid the money, asked her to check In with me on completion date. 1 year later I finally have the quilt. Never once during that time did she check in with me. Excuse after excuse when I would call only to be told check back I, 2, 3, or 4 months. The last time I spoke with her I told her I was going to take her to small claims court if she did not have it done in 1 month. She called 4-5 weeks later and said it was completed. Picked it up and was very disappointed. The quality of workmanship was average at best, there was no new patterned fabric used on any part of the quilt only a small amount of dark solid colors. And to top it off, the fabric that was used on the back of the quilt was also used as a thick border on the front of the quilt and she also used it heavily around many of the larger sewn together squares on the front. She used minimal new fabric. I asked for new patterned fabric from the era the quilt was made to add character and brighten it up and none of that was done. Very disappointed and will never use her services again. Btw: two of the times I called to see when it would be done she said she had been in the hospital. Not once did she call and explain the situation or apologize for the delay. She seemed put out that I was running out of patience. Very unprofessional.
