This results in a long lasting tint that won't eventually curl when you repeatedly roll your window down. Before I found Caesar, thanks to Yelp, I went to a very high end tinter in Thousand Oaks. When I arrived for my appointment, I stood in horror as the teenager applying the tint to a new Escalade was using a torch on the window. He then set the metal canister on the hood of this brand new car, while he trimmed the tint. Nope. Not for me and my new truck. Have some respect for other peoples property. So, to yelp I went. Caesar and his sons are another perfect example that smaller, family-owned businesses will always be kinder and offer better quality than more "corporate" businesses. Life lesson below! I recently bought a new car and took it to a shop in Thousand Oaks to get tinted. I won't say the name, but I will say that it's one of the larger shops in the area for tint. Without going into too much detail, I picked up my car from this shop to find almost every corner of every window was not properly covered with tint, countless bubbles ranging small to large, and to top it off, food crumbs in my back seat. When discussing the issues with the owner, I was essentially told "this is normal" and the food crumbs were "not them" (I personally detailed the car the day before taking it there, and I can assure you it was spotless when it arrived). The experience at that shop bothered me so much that I literally decided to go to a new shop, have the old tint removed, and new tint applied. After much research (trust me, I read the reviews of plenty of places before deciding this time), I ended up at Caesar's. From my first interaction, Caesar and his sons were upbeat, appreciative that I came to them, and more than happy to assist with my...unique...situation. Caesar showed me, in person, the methods they use to apply tint, compared to the methods commonly used by other shops, and how they manage to properly cover windows while eliminating bubbles. When I picked up my car, he was true to his word. This was a night and day difference between the quality of work I received at the first shop. I couldn't nitpick a thing, it's perfect. Don't be like me and make the mistake of taking your car to just any shop. I had recently moved to California from the East coast and quickly discovered window tinting was needed! I looked online and came across Advanced Tinting and the exceptional reviews they had received. I checked Groupon and the offer was still valid. I quickly purchased it and crossed my fingers that it wasn't too good to be true. I know nothing about window tinting and was skeptical about the process and the price. My concerns were gone the second I spoke to Chris! He was friendly, knowledgeable and patient as I explained my situation. Chris went over the make and model of my car and explained what the Groupon covered. He asked if I wanted my sunroof done and I told him I honestly didn't know. He assured me that when I came in and went over the tint options I would find one I liked and could decide about the sunroof. The day of my appointment I met with Caesar who if possible was nicer that Chris. I had some pictures of what I didn't want done but still wasn't sure what I wanted. Caesar was extremely patient as he went over the options. Seeing the car seat in my car he suggested a darker tint in the back and lighter on the front windows. He also gave me the option to do my sunroof getting it done today or if I wanted to wait and see how I like the tinting I could always come back. NO PRESSURE. I decided to get it all done and I left my car in his hands. When I picked up my car I was pleasantly surprised. It looked great and was exactly what I wanted (thanks to Caesar's suggestions). The quality of work was exceptional. Chris walked around my car and made sure I was 100% satisfied. The place is spotless, has a little sitting area for you to wait with a TV and some books/magazines. He not only knows his business but takes good care of his customers at the same time. I setup an appt to tint my wife's new pilot. Reviews were super good. What could go wrong? He left a bunch of debris in the windows that he said was normal. He cancelled the appt to fix it and had as reschedule on short notice. He gave my wife a hard time when it was rescheduled. He put in new film but only after basically explaining it wasn't his fault and the debris is normal and to be expected. To top if off, it still has visible particles in it smh. What an amazing shop and what amazing individuals who run it. Caesar is the owner and Michael and Christopher are his sons and they are great. We had my car windows tinted by a mobile individual. He used tint paint to fix his mistakes on the hatch window, he cut the roll ups so short you could see the light at the bottom, he left dirt on the rear hatch and tinted over it and the front visor strip was uneven. His answer..he will strip it and give us the money back...what!!! How about redoing it correctly. Needless to say we looked elsewhere and Caesar was recommended by a friend of ours...so glad we listened. The shop is spotless and when the tint was stripped my husband was given an opportunity to look at the tint paint...shocking. Then when the work was completed they walked around the car, together and checked out the work product...excellent!!! Everything went perfect! To start, I didn't know of many tinting places, so I searched on Yelp and found this place with all the 5 star reviews. Decided to get the coupon Yelp was offering and emailed Caesar. Responded promptly and when I got there, everything went well. He explained the process for my 2013 Civic involving the windows, and also showed me the shade for each of the percentages offered. I knew my choice was made correctly right from Caesar's handshake when I got to his shop! The whole tint job was done superb! He also explained to me (since it was nighttime) that I shouldn't be alarmed of any haziness in the morning or distortions, as I would just have to leave the car out in the sun. Caesar took care of me even though I wasn't his original customer. Long story, short I originally took my car to Moorpark auto tint by the hand wash and was told if I got a ticket for my tint they would take it off for free since I was a customer. Well, got my ticket and called Rogelio (owner) on Friday and he said yes sure no problem bring it in I'll take it off for free and charge you $50.00 to put it back on. I show up on Wednesday and he says it will be 65.00 to take it off and put it back on. 25.00 now and 35.00 when I get it put back on....yes, I know that doesn't add up to $65.00 but that's a direct quote from Rogelio. Obviously, I was pissed off and called Caesar and asked him for an honest quote and he said being your car in now and I won't charge you a dime for removal and $50.00 to put it back on, I will earn your business. Caesar removed my tint for free as promised and wouldn't even let me tip him. I will be back to do more business with Caesar and have already referred 3 customers to him.
