She said that was a very large tattoo to remove. But on their website they show a very large black tattoo removal that I assume they did and it didn't make sense that my very small tattoo was too big?!?! The woman then told me that she couldn't help me because I didn't give her measurements in centimeters?!?! It just didn't feel right. None of it. While the staff were kind during my first few visits, my experience has unfortunately gone downhill…read moresince this center was combined with another location. They frequently double-book appointments, which has resulted in me sitting for 15+ minutes before being seen because no one is available. The front desk staff have also been rude and unwelcoming. On one occasion, I was the only person checking in, yet instead of assisting me, the staff continued having conversations about non-work-related topics. Once I am actually seen by the medical staff, they are generally very nice and professional. However, there seems to be a major lack of communication between the staff and the doctors, and this ultimately caused a significant issue with my care. About four months ago, I was told that, for insurance purposes, I needed to wear compression socks for three months before I could have any procedures performed. I followed those instructions without issue. After completing the three months, I returned, scheduled my procedure, and scheduled the required pre-op appointment and follow-up appointments. At my pre-op appointment, I was told that everything was ready to go and that I would be seen for my procedure the following day. Less than 30 minutes after leaving the pre-op appointment, I received a call telling me that my procedure could not be performed because I had not been seen by hematology. This was extremely frustrating because the procedure had been planned and approved by the doctor for more than four weeks. At no point was I given a referral to hematology, told that I needed to see hematology, or informed that this would prevent my procedure from moving forward. In fact, I was repeatedly reassured that everything was ready and that I was scheduled to begin the first of multiple procedures. The lack of communication between the office staff and medical team resulted in unnecessary delays, wasted appointments, and a great deal of frustration. I did everything I was instructed to do and should not have been told that I was ready for a procedure only to be informed at the last minute that a requirement I had never been told about had not been completed. I will be speaking with my primary care provider about finding a different vein specialist, as I do not plan to return to this practice. While I appreciate that the staff who actually saw me were kind, the scheduling issues, front-desk experience, and especially the lack of communication regarding my care have completely undermined my confidence in this business.

They just cancelled the appointment in the old MyChart. When I called to ask what happened, I was told my mother was a "no show" and they would have set her up in the new instance if she had come in. I asked, "How would we have known to show up to an appointment you had cancelled?" The receptionist caught a huge attitude with me. She said, "I don't know what to tell you" and "What do you expect me to do about it?" I said this is literally your job. I told her some compassion and understanding would have gone a long way, and she said "I'm sitting here listening to you aren't I?" She never once asked if my mom required an urgent appointment (she did) and offered me an appointment 6 weeks out. I'm sure she thought she was really clever sticking it to an 82-year-old woman with advanced congestive heart failure. May your mother suffer a similar fate, Natalie. I filed a complaint and someone competent called me back and got my mom in the following Monday. We arrived and the receptionist working was so consumed telling another receptionist about her Jerry-Springer-show-worthy family and relationship drama, she completely forgot we were sitting there. I called and told his assistance that I wanted an echo to compare to the one I had at OHSU in 2023. I also wanted him to check my blood, which he never ordered!! He is hard to understand. He is older and I think with my experience with cardiologist, he is BURNED out! I will never go back to him. Luckily when I went to this last appointment he was in ER surgery and I was seen by Andre PA. HE ordered all blood work. He took his time with me explaining everything. He said he didn't know why I was on so much meds. He took me off 2 of my water pills, 1 of my potassium pills, a heart med I didn't need to be on. Then told me about a specialist that comes from St V. Heart failure clinic in Portland once a month. Referred me to him. Now I've had an echo, right heartcath and gene testing, pulmonary testing and put in the correct heart meds!! Dr. Westerdahl from Portland is in the office once a month and is BY FAR much better than that old Dr. Kamineni. Highly recommend. ​​

My visit with Sandy on the 13th was a complete waste of my time and hers since, despite my revealing excisions I wanted that she could have performed that day, she did nothing at all. She was also mistaken about referring me to Rick Pitman, MD for sclerotherapy since, for whatever reason, he will no longer offer that treatment. Since nothing valuable was accomplished this week, and the Longview Clinic knew that, I received a call to schedule me for an appointment way out on November 21. That's unfair since I am living in a hotel in Kelso waiting for treatment. As a last resort, I attempted to schedule and appointment at the Chehalis Clinic, discovered that an opening is available on the 19th, but your system would not permit me to reserve it.
