I felt Gina and her husband were very concerned, caring, and did a good job of balancing what my mother wanted with what the family wanted, and they always made sure that all protocols were followed. I felt especially grateful for my mothers primary caregiver, she really did her best for my mother, and sometimes there were lots of changes of mind that she handled very well. I was especially grateful for the personal connection this caregiver had with my mom. She could get a laugh from her when nobody else could. I was very appreciative of that. This is a very hard time in the life of every family, and the work done at Divine Comfort Care is so important. I am glad Gina and her staff are there to provide the services needed. If you need to make that decision to have a loved one be cared for outside of the home, I would recommend you take the time to meet with Gina and the staff, I believe you will see the caring and experienced way they can be of help to your loved one too. I would give zero if I could based on quality of care provided to my father with dementia who…read morerequired 24 hour care while my mother was in a rehabilitation facility recovering from surgery. The quality of caregivers is a hit or miss. There were a few great caregivers and of the 10 or so that cared for my father 2 were worth the cost of care. They interacted with my father and cleaned during the 12 hours they were there. Other caretakers left the floor unswept and counters unwiped. Just some basic expectations when you pay almost $1000/day and leave all supplies out in the open for them to use. One caretaker, per a nurse calling from his doctors office, yelled at my father to come to the phone. That nurse, when we went in for his doctor's visit, questioned who was caring for my dad and suggested we look into potential elder abuse based on the way she interacted with my dad. The final straw that led me to cancel immediately (for which we paid dearly) was when my son went to check on my dad and the master bedroom smelled like feces, the sheet was not washed and the toilet not wiped down. That being said, the office staff are great. I interacted a lot via text, the most effective communication given the timely nature of our problems and the need to adjust caregivers. All of my bad experiences are documented via text, however give laws and the contract they are not accepted when trying to prove a claim. Word to the wise, ALWAYS cover yourself with email. Beware of the owner! Carrie is a great salesperson, but a ruthless business person who does not investigate problem situations within the company. Would love to know if ALL the workers are insured and bonded. Something else to keep in mind when hiring this company.

We actually tried to place my mother inlaw here first but it was full. Most of the time there is a waiting list I get in. I absolutely loved this place & their caring staff & the director (Wilma). My mother inlaw would comment on how nice it was. They are kind and patient and treat their residents with respect and dignity. My mother inlaw would comment on how nice it was. It feels more like home & family than a care home. It houses a small group of residents. Staff cooks them breakfast in the mornings, make their snacks and treats. A lot of home baking. Lunch and dinner come from The Villa (one of their care homes near by). Residents can participate in the crafts they do or watch. They have a couple of Canaries the residence enjoy. There is TV in the open living space with recliners for them to enjoy. Some rooms are small (perfect size for twin bed) others are a little bigger. There are private and shared rooms. They like to encourage residents to be out and socializing. They have a lovely patio outside. The facility is nestled in a nice quiet neighborhood. My mother inlaw passed away here and staff and hospice we very kind and compassionate to the very end. I can't express how thankful we were to find this place. I could sleep at night knowing she was being well cared for.

I felt disconnected from my body, scared for future births and everyday life, and unsure of what my new normal would be. Working with her completely changed that. She helped me truly understand and connect with my pelvic floor in a way I hadn't before. Through breath work and exercises, I was able to actually relax my pelvic floor when it was stuck in a tense but weak state almost all the time. She helped me gain awareness and confidence in my body - I can now connect with my pelvic floor with barely any effort whereas it used to take all my concentration. The heaviness I was feeling improved so much after even one session, but with the continued work the heaviness has stayed away (I'm almost 11months postpartum now)!
