Our physical therapist, Steve O., was remarkable! On time to the minute on all 6 visits. He is extremely knowledgeable about hip surgery, and provided excellent, thorough, information and visual aids on recovering from it. To top it off, he is a great guy! Easy to talk to and ask questions of, with a great sense of humor. His last visit was today and we are going to miss him.

The nurses and PTs we have had (for hip and knee replacements) have mostly been very good - but…read morescheduling is a nightmare. The office staff is not at all helpful and they will not schedule visits until the night before. Once you have been assigned someone, you can communicate directly with them - but until then dealing with the office staff is just awful. For the knee replacement, they sent a PT to do both PT and nursing duties. This individual was not qualified for wound assessment/care, and removed the staples too soon resulting in the wound opening - and now we are facing another month of wound treatment. We have had three different "case managers" and the communication has been dreadful. Very disappointing - I would not recommend them.

Marcia Johanson at Family Physical Therapy has been my physical therapist for the past couple of…read moreyears, and I continue to see her for different areas of my body. She is patient, caring, knowledgeable, and takes the time to educate and work with you. Her hands-on approach and massage techniques have made a huge difference, helping me walk with much less pain. My chronic pain is ongoing, but I'm doing a lot better thanks to her. The clinic is clean, well-maintained, and equipment is in great shape. I appreciate the private treatment rooms and the friendly front desk staff--they're easy to communicate with. Marcia is always on time and fully engaged during appointments. Occasionally, her assistants arrive late in the mornings, which can affect the last part of the session when they're supposed to take over for certain exercises while Marcia moves to the next patient. Even so, Marcia's knowledge, skill, and attentiveness make the care excellent. I'm giving five stars because of Marcia--she is the reason I continue coming here and the therapist I would always recommend. When I met her 5 years ago I literally lost hope on ever being able to walk much or work out. I couldn't even pick up my kids for the longest time. Life was horrible with having daily pain. You won't see much advertisement on her because she doesn't really need it. All her patients are word of mouth or recommendation.
