Dont take your car here to be serviced. They charge you for things not discussed, barely fix the issues you talk about. Brought my truck in for multiple issues and only one was fixed and when i leave the lot with it another part breaks that was linked to what they "worked on". They tried to make it seem like they were giving me a discount on the new part then by saying im just paying for the part/installation + taxes then bait and switch by adding all these fees to get it close to what the "original" quote wouldve been. read more

I live 4 hours away from the dealership, so I kindly asked him to send me a few photographs of the vehicle before I made the long drive. A very reasonable request that only takes 2 minutes. He made excuse after excuse, and many false promises. 5 days later, after messaging him several times, I never received any photographs, and he sold the truck to someone else. He did nothing but waste my time. Not to mention, he didn't even have the decency to tell me himself that he sold it. I found out from another salesman. This place was wholly unhelpful from the get go. Car was having transmission issues and when we went to pick it up the first time, the lady would not release the car to us even though we had dont the financing through the dealership to pay for the repair. Told us we could come back the next day and to just be late for work. That was wholly unprofessional and brushed us off and to just 'let our bosses just be mad at us' for being late to pick up the car. As soon as we finally are able to pick up the car, immediately it's having worse issues than when we dropped it off. We called the next morning as we picked it up when it was closed and the manager tried to tell us it was our fault the car was broken and the dealership had nothing to do with it. After arguing with him, they finally took the car back to fix it. Was told over the phone it would be $365 plus taxes. Then, when we were called that the car was ready to be picked up, was told the price was $450. When asked why the huge price different as I'm certain taxes wasn't $90 he said it was the shop fee. Why wasn't that included in our quote price? Management was totally unhelpful and I felt I was dismissed the entire time dealing with them because I am a woman. I wouldn't trust this dealership to fix a toy car. Definitely warn everyone else to never get there car fixed from them. Anyone else would be better than this dealership. read more

I would go somewhere else for service. I booked an appointment Thursday night, of course not expecting anyone to look at it that late. I texted them around 1100 am (Fri) and never got a response. So I called at 3 PM. Service advisor tells me they are swamped and will not get to it until Monday. I asked politely why would you book me and appointment on Thursday if no tech could see it until Monday. Seems logical to me? He said the appointment is with the service advisor. I scratched my head in confusion. Why would I book an appointment with someone that is not going to work on my car. Service advisors can see 50 people a day. Techs can only work on a few a day. Then he tells me they have cars from Wed (Now Fri) that have not been seen, WOW....... read more

Save yourself the aggression and choice a different local dealer - wish I had. Seven weeks after purchase of a 2021 Jeep Renegade, all four tires have dry rot and need to be replaced. I don't feel like these should have passed a standard inspection for use, let alone to be included with a sale. When I returned to the dealer with this issue, they told me they were not responsible. The Sales manager Duane told me the service manager agreed with him. When I questioned the service manager ten minutes later, he knew nothing about my vehicle. General manager Tim followed up with me. He explained that of the tires needed to be replaced before selling, they would have done so and the cost would have been calculated into the resale of the vehicle. So I take this as - they look out for the best sales deal that will benefit them the most - not the service to the customer or the retention of the customer. Because they certainly do not have me as a returning customer. read more

Service customers beware. My wife took our sons 2015 Dodge Ram to dealership for service engine lights. Service department took multiple days to come back with diagnosis and informed her we had broken bolts on the exhaust manifold and they bad pins on a cable. My Wife aligned to getting repairs done with thinking vehicle would be in a good position to give our son. 1 day out of shop check engine light came on and when returned was told it was a completely different issue which was a fuel pump module which would be $1900 for repair. Obviously not pleased with scenario took to another repair shop who reviewed and quoted a third of the price for repair see attached which includes a replacement oil stick of $100.92 that must be sitting somewhere at Advantage Dodge because I was not informed by them I was missing one and certainly would have been charged. Repair Center also reviewed receipt from Advantage and was shocked by what we were charged and paid for at Advantage Dodge Center. I requested to speak with Dealership GM and what I will give credit for is he contacted me back quickly on the weekend and said he would connect with me on Monday after speaking with his service manager. He finally called on Thursday with his Service Manager on the phone and long story short validated that charges are accurate and justified, their dealer labor rates are very competitive ar $245 per hour, they use OEM parts, they are a franchise and have rates and fees they must operate under, and my wife authorized charges. Conversation was a waste of time as I shared my concern and all that was done was speaking to the charges were authorized. Bottom line is we paid $3575 for exhaust manifold bolts to be replaced (may not have been necessary) and connector pins to be replaced. If you choose to get work done here I would strongly encourage you shop around quoted services before authorizing any work. If I could give zero starts I would. To start they didn't even have record of my appt when I got there. They replaced my rear brake pads a little over a year ago. Now 15,000 miles later, they are completely down and impacted the rotors. I had my vehicle there 3 months ago for an oil change and was told my brake pads had a healthy amount of thickness left. When I questioned them they were extremely rude and then handed my keys back to me and told me to get them done somewhere else. In addition they quoted me nearly $800 to fix just rear brake pads and 1 rotor. They should have known you don't replace just one rotor. I will never set foot in that place again. read more

Ok- I didn't take the negative reviews seriously when I should have. First off it's clear to me the service writers must be on commission of some sorts because the one I worked with tried to pull the wool over my eyes so to say. I had an engine replaced in my Ram due to the somewhat common lifter failure issue the Hemi has had in recent years and I had to cover a small portion of the bill because I was 160 miles out of warranty (it had been ticking for over a year and I was told the injectors are loud). When I got it back it made a slight bang noise on startup and then I started to experience a slow coolant leak from somewhere in the front of the engine. when I went back to see the service writer, she tried to convince me that the branch bundle connector or whatever the part was called where the water pipes joined together after the water pump was broken, and it was a common issue, which would be a first for me. She stated the part in labor were nearly $1100 but not to worry because they carry one in their local warehouse. When I questioned her about it, she started to compare resumes with me on who's done more work on cars when I used to literally build race cars, and work on aircraft. Now mind you this happened within the 12 months of the engine being put in and she tried to convince me the part was just worn out.. Because I am a disabled veteran my back gives me problems so I took it to a shop that my father recommended and it was just a water hose! My total bill with a synthetic oil change and a hose was about $260. No kidding- the Dealer got me for a $200 diagnostic fee and that was it. Not to mention the bang sound I heard on the engine startup was because they didn't install two bolts for a support bracket. The mechanic of the other shop explained the hose was damaged when it was rough handled likely during the engine installation. I would have no issue with that if in fact, the service writer was just honest with me instead of trying to pad their pockets. I will never return to this dealership to buy a vehicle nor service work again. Just my experience maybe others have had a wonderful experience. I certainly hope so. read more

My wife took my truck to get the oil changed yesterday. Oil change went well, and she came home and I looked at the receipt. They charged her for changing the cabin filter. First off, I told my wife explicitly I only needed an oil change and that I ordered my own air filters, so there was no need to have them changed. Secondly, $70 to change a cabin filter is Highway robbery. I bought a high-end filter for $14 on Amazon, and changing it out takes minutes. My wife avoids confrontation and isn't car savvy, so trusting a dealership to do what is right should be expected. Unfortunately, this is about as deplorable as it could get from a recognized business. I hope this isn't targeting customers and up selling services to unknowing customers, but it smells like it. read more

Avoid the service department at all costs, my brand new truck has been in this shop for 2.5 weeks and counting for a simple seal replacement and windshield wiper motor replacement under warranty. The service department has no sense of urgency for their customers likely to do with this being warranty work. I asked for my truck back and was told they can't put it back together without The parts. It's extremely unprofessional to take someone's vehicle apart without having the parts to replace it. I live very close to this dealership, it's a shame I'll have to go out of my way to a different service location in the future. NEVER buy a car here. I bought a used Pacifica and haven't even had it 1 month and check engine light came on the 2nd time I drove it. Did some traveling (not with car) and light went out but came on again just last week. I brought it in and part of the emissions system and condenser have to be replaced! To top it off they say I have to pay a $200 deductible. BS. Also, they play with the numbers. Had me put $1,500 down so I should only have financed $17,500. Not. I had to finance over $20k Why. Because they added 2 year 20,000 mile warranty to vehicle plus this BS safety package that ALL their vehicles here have to have. Well I think any vehicle they sell should already be safe so why do I have to pay an additional $2+k. Plus BUY a warranty. They don't even give a 30 day warranty and we know why. Because they sell defective vehicles Chrysler also has the worst warranty on their vehicles. My hyundai 100,000 mile 10 yr warranty and my Honda 200,000 20yr warranty. Hyundai I bought new. I bought a Jeep 2 years ago, and now it is so upside down, that I can't get out from under it., it lost about $15,000 in value in less than 8 months. I was deceived. I took my Jeep in for service and left it overnight in their parking lot. The next morning I discovered that a thousand dollars in stereo equipment was stolen. I have been using this dealership for the last three years to service our 2011 Dodge Durango and 2017 Dodge Challenger TA. I was asked to have a wheel alignment done on the 2017 Dodge on March, 2021 when the car had 23 K miles. I have rotated the original tires on the car every 5 to 6 K miles regularly since new. This last year I put 9 K miles (mostly Hwy miles). On checking tire pressure this last week found the inside side wall of the front tires had excessive wear to the point of needing replacement. I brought it to the dealer to check the work they performed on the alignment which is the primary cause of front tires wearing badly on the inside or outside. The service agent immediately responded with excuses about the Hwys condition in FL or that the tires had not been rotated (I had these rotated at Discount Tire 6 K miles ago from whom I purchase tires for other family vehicles and they rotate the tires free of charge for all my family vehicles to include the Challenger). I explained the situation in detail to the service agent. It took the dealer a day to check the alignment and I was told the alignment they did a year ago was perfect and could not have caused the tire wear problem for which a front bad alignment is responsible (an alignment is supposed to be good for 2 to 3 years under normal driving conditions which is the case for our car). I left disappointed and question if I could trust this dealer again for any future repairs or service. They did not even offer to rotate the now bad tires to the back so we could get more life of the two still good tires on the back wheels. March 23, 2022. read more

On October 21, 2019, I took my Dodge Truck in for an express oil change. The truck was running well at that time. They told me it would be about an hour. After waiting 2 hours, I was asked to go in the shop and the technician explained to me that I needed all new ball joints. I decided to take it to an alignment shop for a second opinion. That shop told me that there was no issue with the ball joints. Therefore, the alignment shop saved me about $900.00, as this repair was not needed. I will never go to this dealer again. read more

Completely conned. Traded by 2019 for 2023 jeep. They screwed up the lease. Over a week after I left the dealership with the new car they contacted me to say if I didn't re-sign the lease they would have to pick up the car and take it away. They made a mistake. They said they would pay my first months payment and they haven't done that either. As of today they haven't even paid off my 2019 jeep. 21 days after I signed the original lease they phoned up and said they wanted $3000 otherwise they would come back and pick up the car my friend paid it on his credit card. Meanwhile Stellantis, who is the finance company for the lease has said they have absolutely no information about any of the above. I would never recommend this company they've conned me and my partner. We are trying through an attorney to get this resolved. read more

Called and made an appointment for an oil change and the gentleman was very helpful and got my appointment scheduled right away. Arrived for my appointment and stood outside for 15 minutes before I went inside to see if someone could help me. After telling me to return to my car a van pulled up in the other lane to my left. The service advisor walked out and helped the guy who just drove up before me and I had waited over 20 minutes at that point. Finally advisor came to help told her I had an oil change appointment and she told me it would be 2-3 hours. I told her on the phone when scheduling they told me 1-1.5 hours. She then goes to tell me that the scheduled 3 oil changes in the one time slot and they only have one mechanic working on oil changes. They lady advisor with longer brown hair was horrible and disrespectful. She came with full attitude and was very short and defensive from the time she approached. I brought this to the attention of the other service advisor by the door and he was very helpful in trying to resolve the issue and got the service manager involved. They got me out of there in a little over 2 hours and appreciated the two guys that helped me. However that woman service advisor rubbed me the wrong way and don't know that I would return as long as she is employed there as she was rude, aggressive, and not helpful. read more

The worst service department I have ever encountered at any car dealership in 5 states and two countries. Almost ten years ago, I swore I would never bring another vehicle into this department. But my Rubicon had a recall, so I had to go to a dealer. The choice was Advantage, a mile from my house, or drive to Sanford, 30+ miles away. Took the Jeep in on a Monday, early. At almost 5pm on Monday, I got a call that the parts needed to complete the recall were delayed, that they would be in on Tuesday, and that I would get a call when the Jeep was done. I had a busy week. No call Tuesday. I figured, ok, they're behind, I'm sure I'll get a call Wednesday. Nope. Thursday. Nope. Friday morning at about 9am I called, just to get an update. No "service manager" available to talk to me. I requested a callback. At 4:30 pm, after no call all day, I called. Twenty minutes on the phone, and, lo and behold, my Jeep was ready. It had been ready since Wednesday. I went to pick up the Jeep. Apparently, my service manager, Tim, had gone on vacation Tuesday. Which is fine. Vacations are cool. But, when you have an entire department that is supposed to be dedicated to customer service, one would think that customer service would be, well, sort of expected, even when one member of the department is on vacation. The service manager who helped me, Chris, was quite pleasant, and was apologetic, and I told her that I would mention that she wasn't a part of this whole issue. Which, honestly, maybe that's true. I don't know. What I do know is that Chris and I had to walk all over their parking lot with my alarm on my Jeep beeping in order to find my vehicle. When I got in, the plastic protectors they use to cover seats were strewn all about the interior. It was a passenger airbag that was recalled, so they had to take everything out of the glove compartment. They simply jammed it all into an overstuffed plastic bag, and left it on the passenger seat. I found a nut, and a spring, which is what I hope they replaced (or, at least, I hope it's not super important) just lying on the driver's seat. And dealing with the airbag, I know they had to pull the stereo. The stereo is original equipment, so it's an 08, and it's a bit old, but it worked. Past tense. Now it no longer will switch to FM, so it's either AM or my janky bluetooth aux unit. I won't take it back there to have them fix what they broke, because I fear I'll be walking for another week. Just complete lack of attention to detail, cleanliness, and especially customer communication and service. The absolute worst service department I have ever, ever encountered. I don't write bad reviews. I think bad reviews many times hurt businesses who have simply made honest mistakes. I do write positive reviews. But I have to beg you - beg you - do not use the service department at this dealership. If you're looking for a new car, consider any other Jeep dealer, because you'll be tied to this service department if you buy from these guys. It's a horribly run enterprise that absolutely does not care about your business. read more

My Wife and I just purchased a vehicle here. Very disappointed at the outcome. We had no problem with our sales rep. We were already pre-approved with our credit union with an excellent rate. We did allow the dealership to run our credit to see what rate Chrysler could give us. Our credit union rate was significantly better than Chrysler. Because it was a holiday weekend, and the credit union was closed, we agreed to sign the paperwork with the Chrysler rate and then get things changed over to the credit union financing on Tuesday, which the dealership agreed to. But things changed when we went into the Business Manager's office. Suddenly, we were offered a rate lower than the credit union rate, but we had to purchase an extended warranty. We did not want the extended warranty but were told we had to take it in order to get the better interest rate. Once we got home and looked this over we realized we have been taken ADVANTAGE of. Sure wish we would have just used our own bank that we already had lined up and didn't get this expensive extended warranty. I will never recommended this place to anyone. Weird thing was that when we finally got home there was article on the news about extended vehicle warranties and what a terrible decision it is. read more

I have called, called,and visited the Auto dealership. Still no true response, from them.I fear that I might lose, or misplace my only key! These keys are not inexpensive to replace. I had a previous bad experience with the Service Department at Advantage Jeep, but decided to give them a second chance, so on Sunday, June 9th, I made an oil change appointment online for Tuesday morning 11th at 7:30am. Received email confirmation. Arrived at dealership at 7:25am. No one in Service lane to greet, so parked and went inside. There were three "Service Advisors" at their desks, but not one looked up or acknowledged me in any way. Stood and waited for a few moments, then Christine got up and walked toward me. I thought she was going to greet me, but she just walked past me without even looking at me, so I said, "Excuse me", at which point she turned back to me and replied, "What do you need?". I told her I had an appointment for an oil change. She asked for my last name and looked at a list in her hand. She then said, "Dana will be your Service Advisor but she doesn't get here until around ten til 8." I said, "My appointment is at 7:30." Christine said, "I'm not taking it." She then walked to the male Service Advisor working at his computer in the back left corner. They looked up my appointment and he said to Christine, "It's just an oil change, you can do it." Christine said again, "I'm not taking it". At that point, I left and will never go back. Drive the extra 20 miles to Bill Bryan Jeep in Fruitland Park and will continue to drive PAST Advantage to get decent service. No wonder Advantage has such a terrible reputation. I take the time to compliment and when necessary complain and when it comes to this company, my husband and me do not want anyone else to waste their time with this dealership. I was given the name of an associate at this dealership to contact, which I did. I talked with her and texted with her about our needs and our willingness to not waste her time nor ours. In summary, she confirmed it she had what we needed and had spoken with her manager and that it was worth our drive from Sanford to Mt Dora. When we arrived on Friday, 2/22/19 we were passed off to one of her associates. He proceeded to show us a lesser vehicle than requested saying it was more in our price range. So we looked at it and did a test drive. We said ok and asked him to run the numbers. After waiting for quite a while I finally went up to him to tell him we just had to go and he could email me or call me with the figures. He had been on his phone a lot while we were waiting. Guess what? He came back to us with figures on a vehicle we NEVER looked at or saw or did a test drive on. We left. On Saturday morning I texted the female associate we had been referred to expressing our dismay. She apologized. I got a voicemail from a manager and I called him back. He said on Saturday 2/23 he was sorry, that he would come up with a vehicle to meet our needs and even drive the vehicle to Sanford for us to see. Give him a couple of days. I was in Florida to deliver my mother-in-law's car to her and I needed to get the fan switch fixed for the AC. Being unfamiliar with the area for car repairs I started with a web search. The first dealership I called was the "BIG GUY" in town and I thought I would get a fair shake but he told me the fix was going to be $400 to $450 dollars that entailed replacing the fan motor, well the "high" speed on the switch did work which turned the motor on which I explained to him, so I was wondering why replace the motor! So, I called the second guy who put me on hold for more than 10 minutesso I hung up. My third call was to Advantage Chrysler-Dodge-Jeep. A gentleman named Elliot told me the problem was probably a resistor and quoted me $185 and 1 to 1 1/2 hours to fix so he hooked me up an appointment. Well 45 minutes after arriving they were done and my charge was $184.25!! This review is as much or more for Elliot D. We went to this dealership last Wednesday and were unhappy with the service we were provided. My husband was in a major car accident the Friday before. We didn't plan on buying a car anytime soon. But, his car was totaled and we wanted to look at Wranglers. We thought about a lease if the price was right. We couldn't meet in the middle which is fine. But, the snarky sales manager stated at the end "Not everyone can own a Jeep". This was literally unplanned and we were trying to make the right decision for us. I felt like that was really uncalled for and we had been through enough with the car accident. We were nice through out the whole process. His comment was rude and insensitive. The place was EMPTY so maybe they should be a little more flexible and friendly to their clients. We will NEVER go back there again. (and my guess is it was probably longer) You advertise on your website for "Express" oil service no appointment needed.
