What a fucking Joke. Rude assholes who will legit slam the window in your face. This place should get a 0. Don't add a star to this crap. Here's the story (it's long): AMA was supposed to pick up my moto after I crashed and take it to my house, but this SHIT company comes and loads my bike while I'm concussed on the road talking to CHP, who did NOT to call Advantage (AT) as I had AMA on the way. They did NOT talk to me so I couldn't ask if they were with AMA. They just took the key from CHP, loaded it up and DROVE OFF WITH IT after leaving a blank paper with their name on it with CHP. The assholes working the window didn't tell me their names, I'm writing the employees as their descriptors: Baldy and Pissy ass man/Pissypants. I tried calling 5 TIMES yesterday and was forwarded to voicemail to this random number ending in 88. Finally reached someone last night after hours and they it "wasn't possible" that I tried calling 5 times and left voicemails "because they have 4 lines." Basically told me f* off until tomorrow. I went in the next day and the guy at the window ignored me for 5 minutes despite being visible from their window and me saying excuse me and hello the entire time. I COULD SEE YOU Mr. Baldy sucking your nasty ass fingers at your desk (who later literally SLAMMED THEIR SHITTY GLASS WINDOW IN MY FACE for bringing up CHP and started yelling that I need to F*in call CHP instead of talking to them.) When I arrived to retrieve my vehicle, I performed a careful inspection before taking possession. What I found was devastating. My vehicle had sustained multiple damages, including dents, scratches, and other defects that were not present before it was towed. I take exceptional care of my vehicle and inspect it regularly. I know its condition intimately, and I am 100% certain these damages did not exist prior to the vehicle being in their custody. Just one day earlier, my vehicle was in excellent condition. The most disturbing part was what happened next. When I calmly pointed out the damage to Alex, who appeared to be either a company representative or the owner, I expected a professional discussion and a willingness to investigate the matter. Instead, his attitude immediately became hostile and confrontational. Rather than addressing the damage, showing concern, or attempting to resolve the issue, I was treated with complete disrespect and escorted off the property. At that moment, it became clear that accountability was not a priority. There was no apology, no effort to investigate, and no willingness to take responsibility. My legitimate concerns were met with hostility rather than professionalism. Video evidence of the damage has been secured and preserved. The condition of my vehicle upon retrieval speaks for itself. Not only are all of the workers here (including the manager) extremely rude and condescending, they are very obviously con artists. I had my car towed through AAA to this yard because my body shop was closed on weekends. The driver that picked up my vehicle explicitly told me that THEY would take my car to the body shop for me first thing Monday morning (car was picked up on Sunday). I called Monday afternoon only to find out that my car had not yet arrived at the body shop. I followed up with Advantage Towing to see why my car hadn't been brought over to the body shop and the worker who answered the phone simply said "we don't deliver to body shops" and HUNG THE PHONE UP ON ME. I took it upon myself to go pick up my own car so I could take it to the body shop, since I had an appointment that day. When I got there they refused to allow AAA or myself to leave with the vehicle without first paying $360 dollars in storage fees (for one day of storage). I spoke to the manager who was also very rude and not helpful, but he did say that it should only be $140 for one days storage. What I gather from this is that the first employee who I spoke to tried to scam me and pocket money, and as a whole their company lied to me. DO NOT USE THIS TOW COMPANY. read more

A little over a week ago, a friend of mine locked my keys in the back hatch of my car very late at night. After contacting AAA, Advantage Towing was assigned to assist me. First and foremost, their response time in messaging me that a driver was in route was extremely prompt. Upon arrival, Juan (the driver of the tow truck), messaged me to let me know he'd arrived, which was helpful because I didn't want to wait in the alley parking lot alone. I met Juan and directed him to my car. He introduced himself, was kind, professional, courteous and understanding. Juan was able to assist with my issue in record time and I had my keys in hand very quickly. From the time I contacted AAA and was put in touch with Advantage Towing, to the time I was getting back into my car to retrieve my keys took less than 30 min! I'm incredibly grateful to Juan and appreciate his professionalism, promptness and kindness. If I could give them 0 stars I would!!! This company towed my scooter and caused damage, and are denying that they are responsible. This was a tow done by the police department in the middle of the night, so I was not present when it was taken. When I go to pick it up, I immediately notice the damage that was caused by their straps. The side of my scooter is scratced up. The tow yard they took it to took pictures that clearly show that advantage is responsible...(pictures don't lie!!) This idiot named Alpha (what the hell kind of name is that?! Lol), comes to look at my scooter, then goes to see the pictures, and tells me they didn't do it. I go to look at the pictures myself, and it is very clear that the strap used to secure the scooter caused the damage. Now I'm being forced to take them to court, and for what? TLDR: The driver in truck 348800 is extremely wreck less and should not be allowed to drive for this company, let alone any company. Thankfully have never used this towing company, because I can see by the reviews that this company's workers are subpar. I actually did have an experience with one truck driver, though. Truck 348800. The driver was going unreasonably fast on El Cajon Blvd, pushing id say at least 55 mph. He was swerving in and out of lanes and cutting people off and riding their asses to make them go faster. This driver was extremely dangerous and unconcerned for anyone else on the road. Mind you he was actually towing a mid sized SUV. The SUV on top was wiggling all around. Quite frankly I was scared for my life. I called the company to file a complaint, and then I called the police to report it to them as well. Horrible Horrible! As my family and I were walking to our car thru the Sea World parking lot, from the corner of my eye I noticed this truck speeding our direction and the guy driving was on his phone and wasn't even looking at the road. I yelled to my 9 year old daughter to watch out for that truck and he nearly struck her. It wasn't till I yelled out "slow down", he had the nerve to start screaming and cussing at me. Not only did he almost hit my child, he also made the situation worse by the way he reacted. I jumped in my car and started following him to try to get his license plate number and he proceeded to speed away recklessly thru the parking lot. this type of person has no business working in this profession. Juan was an absolute lifesaver. When our brakes went out and we were forced to go down a one way street, AAA came and towed us out of harms way and into what was suppose to be a "safe spot." Turns out they couldn't tow our 4wd car with no brakes so they just left us there. We called again and thank god for Advantage Towing. Juan came within 10 mins, after working 14 hrs, we were his last pick up. The cheeriest and personable guy, Juan brought us all the way home, safely dropped our car off into our tight parking spot and when I went to give him a tip, he refused. All he wished us was for our safety and to pass on the word, which I will keep his card on me at all times, and NEVER use another service in San Diego again. Arrived at work in downtown, heard a loud noise, turned car off, attempted to turn back with no success. Thinking it was my starter, my co-workers all thought it maybe my battery. I attempted to start my car after several hours in hopes it would, but again it did not. I then contacted AAA, who dispatched Advantage Towing to assist me. I was told assistance would arrive within 30 minutes of my call (12:52), however WAEL called me1:01 PM as he was already near my vehicle!
