My vechicle was supposedly towed by sdpd for being parked in a construction zone and they called advantage towing to do it. When I went to pick it up and got inside I saw it was completely ripped apart and tons of my belongings were stolen. 5 quarts of ow-20 oil, ray ban meta glasses, my beats headphones, and a portable speaker. I call sdpd to get the body cam footage and they have nothing or any report of this happening. However a man named Alex claims it was them who entered my vehicle. He was horrible to deal with. If I could give this company negative stars, I absolutely would. This was one of the most incompetent and unprofessional experiences I have ever had. I arranged a tow through AAA and provided clear instructions for my vehicle to be delivered to my family mechanic. Somehow, despite those instructions, they delivered my vehicle to the wrong shop. When I called to have the issue corrected, I was assured they would fix their mistake and transport the vehicle to the correct location. That promise meant absolutely nothing. What is most concerning is the complete lack of accountability and professionalism. If a company cannot follow basic instructions, honor its word, or communicate with customers when problems arise, it should not be handling people's vehicles in the first place. I will be filing a formal complaint with AAA and pursuing every available avenue to report this experience. I've been with AAA for over 15 years and have never dealt with a towing company like this company . My Range Rover. Conked out the other night on the freeway. And I had to get a tow. I took them well over an hour and a half to show up. While we were sitting on the side of the shoulder on the 8 freeway. . It was late at night. And the driver recommended that they would just store the vehicle. And take it to a mechanic in the morning. I thought that was a good idea. Waited, didn't hear anything the whole next day. And found out that they took the car to the wrong mechanic that I wanted it to go to. I spoke with someone. Named Alex, who told me don't worry about it, they will correct it and take it to the right, right mechanic anywhere in San Diego at no charge. Four days later, my car still hasn't shown up at the correct mechanic. And now I'm finding out that this company's refusing. To move my car, which is sitting now at a different mechanic that I don't know. I had to hire a different tow company that cost me $150.00 to have the car taken to the correct mechanic .It's hard to believe that AAA works with this company. Given that they have bad complaints and I'm not the only person that's had this issue. I'm gonna file a complaint with AAA that they should be removed from the company. read more

The isolated cost to replace the damaged radiator assembly is $1,297.11. * The Issue: [[HIGHLIGHT]]I have made multiple good-faith attempts to resolve this. "This place is an absolute joke. They make an already tough situation worse by inventing rules on the fly just to keep your vehicle in impound longer. We are dealing with this from long distance, and they are intentionally making it impossible to release the car--demanding 'double verification' and two forms of ID just to accept payment. These are arbitrary hurdles designed to stack up daily storage fees. WOMEN BEWARE!! This company has an extremely aggressive and unprofessional driver who appears to target and antagonize women. It was around midnight, I was in an empty two lane road, blocking one lane with my hazards on to quickly drop my friend off to her car. I was gonna leave shortly after. My hazards were on for a good 30 seconds where one of their drivers pulls up behind me, exited his tow truck, approached my car, and came right up to my driver side window very closely, yelling at me to move in a threatening and hostile manner. There was another open spacious lane available, and he was not actively towing a vehicle, so his behavior made absolutely no sense. I told him I was about to leave but continued to yell at me. When my friend was getting into her car, she told him to use the other lane and apologized for the blockage. He responded with disgusting language calling her a "dumb b***h" and telling her to "shut the f*** up" as well as other vulgar insults. He then deliberately blocked her car from her exiting her parking spot so she couldn't leave, continuing to yell and harass her. I have used them before due to my insurance and had multiple, extremely intimidating experiences. No professional company should tolerate this kind of conduct from their employees. If you are a woman, I strongly advise you not to call this company for your safety. I hope management takes accountability and enforces serious consequences for this driver's harassment and unprofessional behavior. read more

I'm a AAA member and they sent this company out twice in one week for my dead battery. I told AAA and the technician, Andrew what kind of car I had and that I needed a new battery. Andrew called saying Volkswagens are "tricky" and he didn't have the right battery (bs). He jumped it, which was pointless since he admitted I needed a new one, and then claimed only the dealership had the "special tool" to replace it. Called AAA again, and guess who showed up? Andrew, late, with the same spiel. AAA even confirmed he was told what car I had and should have been prepared. After wasting my time, I replaced the battery myself. Found it easily at AutoZone and installed it without any "special dealership tool." In conclusion, Andrew is very lazy. read more
