Look at the BBB complaints. They have a canned B.S. response about how the client gave recorded verbal confirmation and signed a contract. They charge you a ridiculous amount MONTHLY to collect your information ONCE PER YEAR and submit to the company for approval ON YOUR BEHALF. You can do this DIRECTLY WITH THE MANUFACTURER at NO MONTHLY COST by submitting the same exact paperwork, and qualification requirements. Any cost of the meds (if any) is completely through the manufacturer. you do NOT need this service!!! Advocate my meds' as a company' and their employees should be ASHAMED of themselves. They are preying on people at their weakest when they desperately need health care/medication that is otherwise too expensive. This is a scam company. They will take your money and not refund $60. Be careful, but I would advise you not do business with this company. They refused my refund until I reported them to The Attorney General, The BBB, Elder abuse hotline and was ready to contact an attorney. I spoke to a supervisor who was nasty and confrontational. I stopped payment through my bank credit card. After multiple phone calls and reports to authorities and notifying my Bank to stop payment I got my money refunded. I should not have had to go through this trouble for a refund in less than 18 hours of canceling. This company, in my opinion, preys on the most vulnerable people. The sick and the elderly. I submitted my application and did not receive a phone call or text for three weeks. I called their office and got a rude representative who hung up on me. I called my own doctors office to try and find out if they had sent my prescription to them. They told me they had and that Advocate My Meds had been very rude to their nurses. It was over a month I called again to find out why I had not received my medication. I spoke with a nice representative who told me my meds had not been shipped and she would follow up. I received Farxiga from AstraZeneca for free.Have applied with Novo for Rybelsis.Any business with a predatory contract like this should be avoided . Rude employees. They kept saying I needed to send more info. They deducted for membership fee and two months of processing fees and I never got any meds. Of course, according to them it was my fault. I had to fight to get my money back. Called credit card company and the did refund my full amount. Keep in mind that they are an independent service and not affiliated with drug manufacturer however I got connected to them when I called drug manufacturer for assistance. Eventually I received my meds through another service at no cost whatsoever. Do not use Advocate my meds. Not an upfront company and when asked them to refund my money, they asked me to read the fine print and said they weren't going to refund me. read more

After a rough start, Advocate my meds came through as promised! My misunderstanding of how the program works contributed to the problems I experienced. However, the representative working with me was impatient and abrupt. It wasn't until I spoke to a representative who, with one sentence got it all to make sense to me. And it's been going well since. With patience my anxiety over-a medication that was a significant amount of my income, was relieved, I hung in got the right person helping me and the program has been working really good since. read more

They set you up and lie to you. They do not tell you both incomes have to be used in the first phone call. And they record all and then move on to next person that ask for all income in household. What a rip off. They get your 60 dollars. and then you don't make the program because you make too much money, but you lost 60 bucks. read more

I have been with Advocate My Meds for a couple of years with no issues. All of a sudden, they keep taking my money but for this reason or that reason they can no longer send my meds. The Advocate My Meds customer service representative (Jake) was very knowledgeable of the issue I contacted them about two days ago with an email. We arranged to talk by phone by making an appointment. Jake called at the correct time, understood my issue and quickly remedied my problem. He was very sympathetic and helpful. If all customer service representatives at all businesses were this cognitive and helpful, life would be better for everyone. They are a RIP-OFF Company... They do not tell you that you can do all of what they are doing for NOTHING - YES, NO Money - $$, They charge you a monthly fee of which you should not need to pay. All you need to do is fill out a 2-page document for the company you are applying to get your meds at a reduced or free cost or do it online. Not the 28 pages they have you sign off on! You then bring the other 2 pages to your doctor to fill out and have the doctor send in yours at the same time they are sending theirs, I got approved in 1 day and my meds are being sent to my doctor (4-month supply I believe). They charge your credit card before they even send you your paperwork, I figured it out as I read their paperwork and CANCELLED right away! They tried to get me back as a customer so I confronted one of their employees about their tactics and I got ALL my money back even the NON-Refundable $60. DO NOT use companies that charge you, you have the right to get free or reduced Use IF you cannot afford it! Find out what company makes your medication and call or write to them. My mother applied to this company and they charged her 3x for medication she NEVER received. When she tried to call to get assistance, she wouldn't get a call back for a few days and nobody would help her. They needed the prescriptions mailed and refused to help with obtaining anything. They happily charged her knowing they hadn't sent any medication. My mom is an asthmatic and was depending on this company. After looking up the company, I saw other unfavorable reviews. These people charge a 100 dollar a month fee for medications that are free to you from the major drug companies based on your income! They file a one time per year paper documents thT you can file yourself and they send you the documents anyway to fill out along with your doctors. So what do you get for your hundred dollars a month, they call the drug companies and get the forms for you this is needed only once a year. They take advantage of those in desperate situations. Absolutely awful to deal with. Submitted all paperwork jan 15th. Had to keep refaxing documents I already sent. In February I was tired of the waiting for meds so inquired about what would happen if I cancelled. Made it clear I didnt want to cancel but the representative automatically cancelled my account. Had to call and fix. Paid over $100 in january and today feb 15th got a call that I need to make another monthly payment even thought i still have yet to recieve any meds. I have been getting Lyrica through them now for about 9 months. I have saved a considerable amount of money compared to what I would have been paying if I had to buy it from Walgreens. My insurance company would not cover the medication for my peripheral neuropathy so I went to Lyrica's website and saw the phone number for this company. My out of pocket cost would have been over $800 a month. Paying Advocate My Meds only $50 a month is a godsend. There is a delay in getting the meds (usually about 3 weeks) but if you work within their guidelines, things work out ok. My doctor has changed the strength of my Lyrica a couple of times and we had some confusion and delay over the paperwork between my doctor and Advocate My Meds, but in the long run after a calling to my Doctor, I got the meds I needed. I would recommend using this company. I don't know what I would have done without them. read more

I highly suggest not doing business with Advocate My Meds. The person I spoke to on the phone when I registered told me I had to a pay a one time service fee, and then would need to pay monthly for the medication. They sent me through a huge run around, and claimed they never got information I sent. Eventually I was able to get my medication covered by insurance, and tried to cancel with Advocate My Meds because of the hassle, and while they allowed me to cancel, they won't refund the two monthly payments for medication I never received. The person I spoke to on the phone when I canceled said that monthly payment wasn't for the medication (which is what the employee that helped me with registration said) but rather those monthly payments were also service fees. Apparently, the "terms and conditions" state this, but please be careful because the representatives will lie to you when helping you register. I paid a total of $180 for medication I never received. read more
