So I visited this location - when I walked in, I was immediately greeted and escorted over to the item in question. I love Aerie, I practically live in their yoga pants (and never pay full price for them (use coupons or wait till they're clearance!! They usually have good sales, trust me when I say they're costly...not Lulu pricey but still $50 for leggings that won't give me superpowers just seems kinda wacky) Today, I decided to give in to that little voice that told me to go into Aerie and purchase another comfy set of leggings to live in. I was excited that they had a promotion going on for buy one pair and get the other free. I went ahead and tried on a few of the new styles available, just because the new designs looked pretty cute. Upon trying them on, I realized that they seem to be running in smaller sizes now, and the material seemed lacking in quality compared to prior styles that I have loved. Honestly I think they were even a little see-through which is unacceptable anyways but extra unacceptable when not even washed or worn??? Pretty disappointing to see considering I honestly love this store...(can you tell?! I've only been ranting about a pair of leggings for like 3 paragraphs now) Anyways, the clearance section had a decent pair of leggings I purchased that felt more like the quality and norm I like, the cashier was great and even suggested a certain style (pocketed thicker leggings titled "feel comfy" versus "feel free"?? I'm not a huge fan of American Eagle clothing however I am a fan of their lingerie section. Points down for the shopping experience. My review is base on the Fair Oaks location with their customer service and inventory. Inventory/Store Neatness: Usually low stocked on the bigger sizes. I notice there's a lot of older aged (meaning...not teenagers under 19) that shops in this particular store. The items are not as neatly ordered for a slow/steady traffic. I can understand if it was busy but most of the time I stop by, it's slow. They have a a good selection of different styles but not everything online you'll see in the store. Overall, this location is bigger than Tysons, but you'll find better stocks (especially online shoppers) in Tysons Mall. I suggest to call the store for your items before wasting time coming in. Customer Service: Maybe it's me but I test it out a few times with different people. So unfortunately, the women in the store picks and choose who they want to help. There's barely anyone helping in the fitting rooms and barely anyone there to help you get into the fitting rooms. I once in a blue get someone to crack a smile and make me feel comfortable on trying items. In this particular line of apparel, for customer service, you HAVE TO make your customers feel comfortable. It's lingerie. I waited to and tried to flag down an associate to help me with selecting a bra item but each time a new customer walks in, they rush to their need first. I was completely ignored. Unfortunately, I am an honest customer, so when asked, did you find everything you need today, I quickly say no. When they ask, to take advantage of a sale, I also say no because no could help me...I would if someone helped me because I really needed assistance on several items. But nope, no help. I'm really disappointed in my experience...I literally had a shopping day and too bad I can't help financially support their business. So my money went elsewhere. Aerie, It's been 3 years. A great store for the high school and early college demographic. The store is clean, well laid out and carries the trends and looks that their target market craves. I easily found a sales assistant to help me find appropriate clothing for my teen-aged son's birthday. He was patient and understood that I was looking for something that my son would really wear to school. He asked me questions about my son's interests and guided me toward some selections that my son really seemed to like. An overall good experience and I will come back for shopping during the Christmas season. read more

Was really looking forward to buying a sweatshirt and was happy to find that it was 50% off. Once in check out it was only marked 40% off. I told the cashier that the sign said 50% off. She did not give a fuck and said that no it's only 40% off. I told her she should move the other sweatshirts away from under the sign to keep customers from being mislead. She simply ignored me and was rude. In conclusion, don't go to the store after hours when workers no longer care and are rude to you. The greater of the store was very helpful. Two years ago, I would have given them four stars but they have changed so much in quality and savings. They quit doing the A-List, they quit offering freebies to their credit card holders, the selection has decreased significantly.. Maybe its me not Aerie. This store usually has friendly people although my most recent trip was not the usual friendly service. The selection was really low and not pleasing but it could be the end of the season. The tank tops are great and if you catch them on sale, even better. Aso good bras.. often better than VSecret and better prices. Shorts are comfy too! read more

I have heard about Aerie, but I have never actually been in one. Since its bathing suit season, I have been looking for a suit, no luck until I went on the Aerie site and fell in love with a black one piece bathing suit. I immediately googled the nearest Aerie and prayed they had the one piece. They did! I want to say that the bathing suit itself is adorable, looks great and reasonably priced. I loved the store set up. Very cute. The salesgirls were not very friendly, barely said a word to me. Which is fine, I wasn't in a talkative mood. I'll be returning. read more

Went there to do some Christmas shopping over the weekend. Went to the cashier to check out and she shoved 15 items including many pants and bras into one tiny small bag. By the time we got home all the clothes were wrinkled. The cashier also was more worried about moving position to the front of the store to be able to clock out on the hour rather then paying attention to our items that we were purchasing. Usual pleasant experience at the store but was very disappointed this time around. read more
