Unfortunately, the person we were working with there just was really uninterested in helping us. He had said to just go online to look at the options and packages. It was like pulling teeth even just to get him to show us the shoe options next to the suit color tones. We felt like we were being rushed out and like a nuisance, maybe because you formalize the order online? But it's so hard to gauge colors on the internet and important to see swatches. We were really disappointed in the experience. The next week, my husband went to the Reston location to try for a better experience, which is just what he got. He said that location was SO helpful and much more attentive. Wouldn't recommend Fair Lakes for wedding suit rentals, but would recommend the Reston location!

I dropped a star because they gave me the wrong colored vest for the rental and unfortunately, I wasn't able to have it corrected because it was picked up late due to a medical emergency on my end and there was no opportunity for an exchange. I tried to have it exchanged at the Charlottesville, VA location, and the gentleman I spoke to was very dismissive and offered instead that I buy one of their $100 vests - which I had to decline because that voided the whole point of me renting it out to begin with. If I remember correctly, I even had to pay more for the rental package with the vest, only to have the vest come out with the wrong color. Throughout this whole experience, I've felt very dismissed by the staff at Men's Warehouse, both at this location and at the Charlottesville location. The only reason I'm giving this a 2 out of 5 stars is because both the lady and the gentleman (I believe his name was Anthony) that had my suit sized and who answered the phone when I needed to tell them I was going to pick up my suit late respectively were really nice and courteous and to be honest - they're both well above the standard the rest of the Men's Warehouse brand has set for itself when it comes to my experience. Unfortunately, I think this is the last time I'll ever be using MW for any of my needs for suits or suit rentals. This whole experience left a sour note for me. There honestly just needs to be better customer service training with the employees - with an emphasis on not being dismissive towards people.

They must have messed up when placing the alternations order or while putting it all together for the alterations department. The saleswoman was pleasant but seemed inexperienced in processing our order which required alternations and ordering on line for missing pants and shirts. The suit that was delivered to us was one my son had tried on for sizing and he did not wish this particular suit because he didn't like the color and thought the fabric felt cheap. Imagine our surprise when this was the suit that was presented to us today. The original saleswoman and Cole spoke and Cole initially noted that we could return the wrong suit for a refund and order the correct suit that we thought we had ordered. After speaking to another salesperson in the shop he informed us that this was not possible. Customer service offered us points on our account. No need to do this, we'll never buy anything from Jos A Bank again. No wonder they are going out of business in many areas.

The associate took his measurements in a professional manner and helped us find his size (somewhat obscure). The tailor took over and let him try on a pair of dress shoes so he could see the pants/hemming more realistically. Both employees were friendly, professional and helpful. They asked when we would need the suit back and when we said anytime, they quoted us two weeks. The hemming was $17, and the suit was $375. Overall compared to other places we went this was also a great deal.

We were worried about fittings given that nobody could come into the shop itself, but besides a few small adjustments day-of, everything fit perfectly. Their suits are definitely of high quality, and the people working there are kind, responsive, and overall and top-knotch to work with. Zero regrets, would rent from them again.
