I went to imagos in Dec 2019 for lipo/breast augmentation with the expectation to improve my self confidence and what I wound up with was a lumpy stomach and huge breast implants that took this away from me. The cannula left markings all over my abdomen and sides, with thick tissue tracing the entire area. Additionally, my nipples became extremely uneven, and I watched Dr Garcia try to play it off like they were symmetrical in the pictures, but I was too bashful to speak up in the moment. After I went back for my 1 year follow up, it took WEEKS of me calling to finally receive a call back about a potential appointment to fix the damage. Gaby told me that the doctor just said I needed to lose weight. In addition to the liposuction, I had an augmentation. Dr. Garcia told me I would receive "mid-300 size implants" which he said is "national average," and I woke up with 450cc implants. I can't stand seeing how huge my breasts are in a bathing suit and am too embarrassed to wear one. This review is LONG overdue. Though, I feel two years after my procedure has allowed me sufficient time to fully determine the results of my breast augmentation. I got a BA in August of 2017 and I have to say that I am to this day as happy with my decision to have an enhancement as I am with the doctor that I chose. I told Dr. Perez-Gurri that I wanted people to look at me and think "Wow. She has really nice boobs. I can't tell if they're fake though." And that is exactly what he gave me! I can't tell you the number of times I've had women ask if if they're real because they look so good but are pretty big. (I got 500cc and now wear a 34DDD) And even though I'm thin they still look natural on me. I told him I wanted them to look as natural as possible but still big. His response was that he would never send his work out into the public that looks like a porn star. Dr. Perez-Gurri is honest to God the most professional plastic surgeon I could have ever hoped to have. I could not recommend him and his office more. As a physically fit 50 year old who had gained and lost largest amounts of weight over 20 years ago, I was confronted with a terrible reality that no matter how fit I was, no matter how often I worked out, I would never overcome the problem of sagging or loose skin around my abdomen. The Dr. does good work BUT I felt VERY taken advantage of at my last visit. I called on the phone to get a price for Botox on my forehead area. I have very minimal lines. The receptionist told me since I was bring a friend with me, the price is normally $350, but she could give me $50 off, plus a 10% discount. I asked her so what would that come out to? She told me $270. I said ok then go ahead and schedule my appointment, for my friend & I. Also the receptionist quoted my friend $175, for the two lines in between the eyebrow area. Well to our surprise, the day of our appointment, when our procedure was done, we were getting ready to pay. The receptionist handed me a bill for $450 & my friend a bill for $300!! I told the receptionist I was quoted $270 & my friend $175. She said there was nothing she could do, she didn't set the prices & didn't know who would of quoted me those prices over the phone. I feel I screwed up because I didn't get the girl's name who quoted me the prices over the phone, BUT that DOES NOT justify their dishonesty. We paid our bill but I will NEVER go back to Imagos Medical Spa for Botox. I also felt embarrassed in front of my friend because I set up her appointment and told her $175. I will make sure ALL of my girlfriends know exactly how I was lied to at Imagos. This totally ruined my experience at Imagos. Imagos could of had my business for years to come, plus numerous referrals from me. It's a shame because the best thing you have in business is your reputation. There was not one question that went unanswered by either the Dr. or the staff. I initially went in for botox, but now am considering other procedures. I'm not sure what the previous reviewer is referring to, because my botox has lasted 5 months and Dr. Perez-Gurri took his time discussing other areas I might consider having botox done in.
