I chose this clinic specifically because of Dr Daniel Kaufman. Dr Kaufman is the best, he listens to you, explains everything you have to know regarding your procedure even post op he will show you the details even photos under the table which is amazing in my opinion. Comparable to the Dr I had in the past that I only met during the markings and that's it. The stitches are so low, clean and straight, not all does that. This is a recent honest experience at Miami Life Cosmetic Center, overall is a good choice. I expected this to be a chop shop, which almost everybody says from the fb group, patients go in and out, yes, but the super low prices are unbeatable. Exceptional results and trusted Doctor. So many patients and all the staff are trying their very best to accommodate the needs of everybody. I wonder how they manage that amount, seeing patients preop, do the surgery, post op. The surgery day, as soon as I wake up in the recovery area, groggy dizzy and with chills, I was discharged right away. I hate the faja which is 2XL very loose, I am a medium. The post op was fast and less wait time with Ms Ingrid. The last visit I had prior the flight, Dr Kaufman was amazing and answered all my questions, he does not rush you, he sees you as a patient and as a person. I was able to see before and after photos. While the medical care itself may have been good, the communication and discharge process were extremely frustrating. I missed a call from the nurse and immediately called back. I was transferred multiple times, placed on hold for over 40 minutes, and then disconnected. Calling both the main office and the number that contacted me resulted in the same experience--no clear answers and being bounced between departments. When I arrived in person to pick up the patient, the front desk response was dismissive. I was told "it wasn't me," and when I asked for an update, I was simply told not to worry because "chaplaincy" was involved, along with being informed that the call center was not available. None of this addressed the basic need for clear communication. As the authorized pickup contact--whose information and ID were already provided ahead of time--I expected a straightforward and coordinated discharge process. Instead, there was a lack of accountability and no clear guidance. This level of customer service needs significant improvement, especially when dealing with patients and their caregivers during an already stressful time.

For that reason alone, I cannot recommend his office and here is why. My story- I booked my surgery in February 2017 and was assigned to Yisel as my patient coordinator. It was supposed to be in July 2017, but it was cancelled because I didn't get medical clearance. After my surgery was cancelled it was almost impossible to get Yisel back on the phone. I paid Eres Plastic Surgery (that was their name at the time) a deposit to hold my date. According to the cancellation policy, I was entitled to a refund. I have emailed Yisel for days and she has yet to respond. I know she is getting my emails since all of them have been sent with read receipts. I called the office and spoke with Claudia, Yisel's manager, only to be told by Claudia that I have to speak with Yisel. As of today I have not heard from Yisel or Claudia regarding my refund. They are both ignoring my calls. It is my understanding that Imagenes Plastic Surgery (again, formerly Eres Plastic Surgery) has a slew of complaints against them and that they are under investigation by the Attorney General's Office in Florida. When I spoke with a clerk at the Attorney General's Office, she explained that the state is aware of their practices, which include procedures performed by unlicensed physicians and refusing to issue a refunds according to the signed agreement. At the clerk's suggestion I went online to file a complaint against them. I have also filed a complaint with my credit card company to get my deposit refunded. I truly believe everything happens for a reason and I am thankful for the signs that led me not to get surgery at Imagenes Plastic Surgery. Here are a few things I did not know about them prior to booking my surgery: 1. Eres Plastic Surgery (their former name) had a death in March 2017 and November 2016. Both deaths were the result of poorly done bbl's performed by unlicensed plastic surgeons. 2. Prior to being called Eres Plastic Surgery they were called Encore Plastic Surgery. There are also deaths linked to Encore Plastic Surgery. Please google both names. 3. There are numerous articles that link the deaths at Encore Plastic Surgery to facility and equipment failure. Update: Nancy, the person who commented on my review, says they now have this equipment. 4. Jonathan Fisher, M.D. is the ONLY board-certified physician at Imagenes Plastic Surgery. 5. Imagenes Plastic Surgery does NOT use board-certified anesthesiologist. Instead, likely to cut cost, they use Nurse Anesthesiologist. This could explain why a woman was left brain dead following breast implants a few years ago. Verdict - Please do your research before you decide to get plastic surgery. Imagenes Plastic Surgery is filled with unlicensed physicians, possible inadequate equipment, and is under investigation for failure to refund deposits. To Nancy: In response to your comment. My review is for Jonathan Fisher. Not Anthony Fisher. I've never heard of Anthony Fisher. And Yisel and Claudia, who you seem to know, are employees of Imagenes. When I woke up from my surgery they told me what happened and that I would be getting a refund for everything except the lipo. Fast forward to today and still do not have my refund. They keep telling me that it takes 30 to 60 business days however the paper I signed said I would receive the refund within 30 days. Not business days. I really wanted to go back to have my surgery finished but there is no reason why the refund should take this long and unfortunately, I do not think I will be going back.
