Had a wonderful experience with Aery Carpet & Tile Cleaning today. I had a short notice request, but Chris was able to accommodate us with a date. Their driver had earlier availability in the day, so they asked if they could arrive a bit earlier, which suited me fine. I had 4 rooms, the landing and stairs...as well as my dusty old couch cushions that needed to be freshened up. Bradley was the tech, and he worked hard and did excellent work. Unfortunately I'm super disappointed with this company and I suggest you look elsewhere for service! First, booking with the company was interesting. You have to go through WhatsApp and whoever you talk to is very short with their answers and could use a lesson on good customer service and how to talk to people. I booked for the 2pm slot since I worked night shift. The son showed up here at 8am and when I asked him why he stated that he "had multiple jobs today and if he doesn't do it now I will have to reschedule." I then contacted the number for the company and the owner literally wrote "I had you down for the 8-9am slot and never changed anything" basically telling me that I was in the wrong. I sent him back the screenshot of our conversation (that was still in the chat that he could see) and he wrote back "my apologies". He did discount my stairs to make up for it so I figured I could look past this and just let him get it done. The son then proceeded to sit on his phone watching a tv show which in turn I watched him literally half-a** the entire couch leaving stains! The back support and the ottoman are still very visibly dirty and a completely different color than the couch. Not to mention there is water ALL over the floor everywhere! I had high hopes for this business, which has excellent reviews on Yelp and in a community Facebook group. However, our carpet looks nothing like the after pictures in this profile. In fact, it looks as if it was just cleaned with water and no cleaning component. There are no professional lines like in the pictures. I feel like I wasted my money. The owner sent a young man to complete the job. From what I've read in posts, he may be the owner's son. He was friendly but never gave me his name, although he wore a company logo shirt. Our carpet wasn't dirty except for a spot I hoped could be removed from our barn door that slid across the carpet. That spot looked the same as it did before he started. I asked him why the spot appeared to have not improved, and he said, "I don't know." When I asked if he had any recommendations for other treatments I could use to remove it, he just said, "No." He didn't provide any aftercare instructions about the carpet. He simply told me he didn't recommend staying up all night and went on and on about how tired he was. He also told me he had a Red Bull and that it was helping. He mentioned that we were his last stop, and I told him that I hoped he felt better and to get some rest. I thought the carpet would look better once it dried, but it didn't. I'm very dissatisfied and will pay for the carpet cleaning company I used in San Diego to come up here next time. We feel like the reviews for this company are misleading. Just my experience, disappointing because all of the great revues did influence my decision. After my carpet was cleaned it took almost 8 hours to dry. I was told it was a "quick dry system," and would be dry in 2-3 hours. I was very careful not to walk on it but needed to get around a few times. I wore thick clean white socks while walking on this just cleaned carpet. When I removed the socks, the bottoms were dirty. When the carpet finally dried it felt stiff...not soft like being clean. The carpet wasn't that dirty to begin with. The entire day all the things I removed from 3 rooms to clear the way were shoved into bathroom, and the kitchen where I sat waiting for this carpet to dry. It was 82 outside, sunny, breezy, windows and doors open, ceiling fans on. It was getting dark and colder and I was tired now needing to put everything back. Owner offered to come back but said he was leaving for another trip. Thinking to myself I felt like I paid a lot for 3 rooms expecting great results...do I want to go through that again? read more
