Wanted to get my home's tile and grout cleaned. Began searching for a company with good reviews and with good prices. After speaking to way to many different companies I found an ad for Serv One Carpet Cleaning. They listed a very reasonable price per square foot for tile and grout cleaning. Their reviews were solid. Scheduled an appointment. I make it a practice to get two or three quotes to compare and to determine the credibility of each potential company. The the first two were total disappointments. They were ill prepared and the contact people were like the worst car salesmen you ever met! I'd set the appointment for 1:00 for Serv One. At exactly 1:00 pm a gorgeous Serv One truck rolls up, Vince Ware comes to the door, mask on in a fresh uniform, tablet in hand , measuring wheel etc. Vince was a charming guy who clearly new what he was doing. We chatted, I asked some questions to help us manage our expectations. He addressed all my questions and concerns. He measured the areas to be cleaned and provided his quotation which was in accordance with their advertised price. No attempts to up sell or to add on anything more than we needed. We made our decision to move forward. He was totally prepared to do the job then! Without going into every step I'll just say he did all the proper steps to prepare the areas, moved anything in the way out of the way, prepared the surfaces, and began the work. Vince is a pro. Keith came out and was extremely professional and helpful. He attempted to remove stains from a tile floor that was just laid throughout my home he gave a fair price but wanted to make sure the results were satisfactory prior to doing the entire floor. Once he discovered they were deep within the tile he made clear we couldn't get it done. I asked if I could play him for coming out and he refused stating this is part of the estimate and didn't feel comfortable taking money for a service that was unable to be completed. These are my new tile and carpet cleaning guys. They were fair and invested the time to make certain I was pleased with the outcome. The person who came out, I'm sorry I forgot his name, was a very courteous person and as he was cleaning he educated me with some information on grout maintenance.
