Edit to add: After seeing my review, Alex reached out and apologized, and assured me that he and his team will fix the sinking board. I am glad this ended on a good note, since other than the communication issue, the floors look amazing, and his team worked hard and quickly. His team did leave floor finish stains on the baseboards and my kitchen quartz counter walls, so heads up, don't forget to ask them to use painters tape if you're getting your hardwood floors sanded and refinished. (Initial review) Initially when Alex first gets your business, they seem responsive and even tells me about how shoddy of a job the previous flooring people did in my home (fixed by previous owners). But the moment any small issues come up, Alex just ghosts his customers. In the video you can see the cracks happening under normal body weight. I really wanted to believe that at the very least he and his team will try to provide any rectification, even if it's just to come out again to check on the floor to see what else can be done, like I wouldn't even have mind paying an additional small fee for materials. We had the pleasure of shopping for flooring with Kingsly and Fannie who then referred us to Alex from Aesthetic Flooring. We loved working with everyone. My friend, who used Aesthetic Flooring, referred me to them and I have to say that it was a good referral! I contacted them and coordinated with Alex and the responses were clear and quick and despite my several questions, I was able to get a quote fairly quickly. He was very patient throughout the process and even went with me to go to the flooring warehouse to choose the flooring I wanted, since I couldn't decide from the samples he brought over to my house. When install day came, they were punctual and the whole team was super cordial, respectful, and always permission before entering a room, using the restroom, or even playing music. We installed LVP on top of our hardwood floors since they were getting old and maintenance was a pain. We opted to pay a little extra for the self-leveling transitions between the rooms so there's no transition bump, which is often a robovac obstacle and also doesn't look as clean. The whole install process was about 1.25-1.5 days. I will say we did have a tiny leak from the toilet afterwards likely due to a little shift from the install, but I spoke with them and they were able to come back and fix everything. If I were to ever do flooring again, I would go back to these guys. A family run business with reasonable prices and reliable staff. read more

Aesthetic Flooring did an AMAZING job at restoring my black hardwood floors which is very hard to do simply because it's black! I have a new construction home and when the contractor/subcontractors where doing other projects in the home, they failed to protect my floors causing lots of dirt build up as well as some scratches and lots of scuff marks. So when Aesthetic Flooring started on my floors, it was a mess. Fortunately, because of their extensive knowledge about flooring, they were able to restore my hardwood floors and it looks brand spanking new! They took their time to make sure that my floors were not damaged... they cleaned it by hand before and then came back to buff it to ensure that it was throughly clean. They also fixed the scratches and scuff marks done by the construction people. Because of their dedication to their craft, the saved me money by fixing the damaged planks so that I didn'thave to replace them. Let's talk money... their price is also very fair and reasonable compared to other flooring companies who just gave me quotes over the phone without actually properly assessing the work that needed to be done. Alex and his wonderful staff - Richard actually came to my home to asses the floors; they measured the surface work areas, and gave me detailed information of the process to fix the floors properly prior to giving me a price estimate. Inconsiderate. Unreliable. Bad communication. Unprofessional. Irresponsible. I made an appointment on a Saturday. Alex even CONFIRMED the day before that they would be arriving between 10-10:30am on Saturday. They did not show at the appointment window. We texted/called. Alex finally called back at 11:15am to reschedule our appointment. He recommended Sunday, and confirmed for 9:30am. On Sunday, we again waited until 10am to call...and no answer. Yup -- no show again, and never called us back either this time. I am full-time working mom with young kids! Weekends are precious for us as a family!
