Dr. Lopez performed two surgeries on my arms. The first was done through the axilla (armpit) incisions. While this approach is often preferred, not every patient is a good candidate. Two board-certified plastic surgeons I consulted prior had told me I was not a candidate and would not be happy with the results. Dr. Lopez, however, assured me I would achieve the outcome I wanted, showing me pictures and telling me she had done many surgeries like it with great results. I had the surgery, and a year later I was very unhappy. In many ways, my arms looked worse. For the entire year, Dr. Lopez told me there was nothing more she could do--other than pointing out that now, my arms looked "better in clothes". Sadly, that was not what I had been promised, nor what I paid for. She performed a second surgery, an actual brachioplasty, but the results were still poor and fell far below the standard of care. I then sought multiple evaluations from actual board-certified plastic surgeons. All agreed: the results I was left with were not acceptable, not what I paid for, and fell far below the standard of care. Dr. Lopez offered a third surgery--at an additional charge--but by that point I had lost all confidence in her skills. I found another surgeon who quoted me the cost to repair the damage, an actual board-certified plastic surgeon. Rather than asking for a full refund, I only requested reimbursement for the amount I would need to pay for the corrective surgery. Dr. Lopez has continued to refuse. In my experience, most plastic surgeons will work with patients or provide refunds when the results are clearly unacceptable. Dr. Lopez did not. While I have never sued anyone for anything before, I am having to sue her to get her to do the right thing. So, I ask you, is Dr. Lopez the cosmetic surgeon you really want to do business with? Bottom line: Had I known then what I know now, I would never have scheduled surgery with her. Do your homework. In my opinion, Dr. Lopez talks a good game but does not have the skills to deliver. I wish I had the ability to show you, my arms. Dr. Lopez is a cosmetic surgeon, not a board-certified plastic surgeon. Google the difference, then strongly consider another surgeon. read more

They have used my photos without my consent and posted it online as a different ethnicity and age group. This company has done this multiple times and has been sued for violating patient rights. I complained about my surgery and it was not what I wanted and no one responded to me and they got my other reviews delete. Illegal and shady business practices all around. I went to Dr Lopez for a PDO thread lift in my cheeks. She used an advanced technique what is called a "reverse vector" which I had never heard of before. The lift I got was incredible. It got rid of the folds around my nose. This was over 6 months ago and it's still holding strong! I had done a previous PDO thread treatment in 2021 at a different office but it didn't last very long, so it was not really worth the pain! I chose Dr Lopez for her knowledge and experience as a plastic surgeon and would highly recommend her for this type of procedure. I'm considering going back to get a neck sling! My experience with Dr. Lopez was excellent!! Before my TT procedure I did a lot of research and started following a Tummy Tuck FB group where I learned a lot different situations people have gone through from not being followed up on to their incisions getting very infected, etc. When I found Dr. Lopez I knew very quickly that she was the Dr. I wanted to go with and I am so glad I did! She comforted me on the day of my procedure because I was nervous, she followed up on me so closely by seeing me often after my procedure and checking in on me. Bear with me, but this is going to be very long, please whatever you do, do not go to Dr. Lopez. I had labia plasty from her done nearly 4 months ago, and if I could do anything in my life, I would take it back. Before I had this procedure I was an extremely sexual person, and that has been ruined for me entirely. when I reached the eight week point where you are supposed to be able to go back to having intercourse I still had extreme pain so we waited until 10 weeks, when I tried to explain to Dr. Lopez that intercourse was still hurting and some thing truly did not feel right, she told me everything was fine and that I just needed to keep trying slowly so that is what we did even though I had a feeling that something was not right. I still had extreme pain throughout the little bit of labia that I had left. I have painful scar tissue that will almost never go away. She cut so far to my lips that another doctor said it would be extremely difficult for them to remove that painful scar tissue that I have and that it's not likely to just go away on its own. I have to have the procedure done again from another doctor. She stitched my perineum back up over the entrance to my vagina and one night during intercourse. It ripped open when I went back to see her she admitted that she had stitched it up too tight and would have to cut it back open. she accused me of not using enough lube when she even admitted that it was because it was stitched too tight. I'm not sure if she stitched it back up that tight so that it would feel more pleasurable for my husband (which if that was the case she did not notify me before doing so) or if it was just blatant negligence. She told me to use more lube, and that I would be fine so that is exactly what we did and it happened again I can no longer have intercourse until I have this procedure redone. She has offered to do it, but the way that she did it the first time I do not have any confidence that she knows what she's doing in that regard at all. I have one side that is half an inch longer than the other side when I asked her why one side was so much longer than the other she told me that that side was longer to begin with so I asked why she left it longer and she told me that she couldn't tell how short she was cutting it, so she left it longer. What kind of doctor doesn't know how much skin they're cutting off when they are trained to do this? I have pieces that are hanging off by threads of skin. I constantly have uncomfortable and painful sensations even just sitting at my desk at work. I am begging you whatever you do do not go to have this procedure done with Dr. Lopez the cost is not worth what I have endured nor is it worth the fact that I'm going to have to pay thousands more dollars to have it done with another doctor. This experience has been insanely traumatic and insanely painful and it has not been worth it what I had been so excited to have done, and I've been wanting for over 10 years has turned into the biggest mistake of my life. I'm begging you please do not go to the doctor to have this done. She has shown absolutely no remorse to the pain that I have endured at her expense. Another doctor has told me that with the chunky pieces of skin and the insane amounts of pain I have he considers it a botched procedure and to not go back to have her fix it. I will be scheduling surgery with him and now paying thousands of dollars more for that. I promise you the cost that I paid for her has not been worth any of this please, whatever you do just pay more to see a doctor that is more experienced and has better results. read more
