The offices and rooms are clean. Staff is friendly, informative and attentive. I've had a couple appointments now and I'm seeing results quicker than expected on my lower legs and underarms. I was afraid my hair would be too thick and I would need more treatment than usual but the nurses tailored the treatments I have to my body type. Waited a half-hour in a cold room next to a noisy machine after being numbed for a lips & marionette filler touch-up, was briefly updated once "we're running a few minutes late". Another half hour later, I finally sought out an update, and some defensive lady cited "equipment issues" and couldn't care less when I declined her offer to reschedule. No apology, no urgency, no accountability, no ETA. I walked out with no service, uncomfortably numb lips, and the CREAM STILL SMEARED ACROSS MY FACE. I only got to use 1/4 of the syringe I paid $500 for at the initial visit. This was my second-ever visit, intended to complete the service. I emailed Mgmt, ~"Hey I had this problem and am giving you the chance to correct it, but I DON'T want to return, so please provide a partial refund so I can get the touch-up done elsewhere". I HIGHLY recommend LaserAway. Specifically the Bridgeport Village location. I was very afraid to get Laser treatment because my skin is deeply melanated and I wanted treatment on my face. Cassidy (location director) talked me through the process. Assured me the lasers could be trusted and were safe for dark skin. After I finished my first package of treatments, I paid for another package for a different area because the results exceeded my expectations. I have never had any scabbing or discoloration. Reagan (nurse) is a great. She is friendly, professional, detailed and thorough. Always makes sure to go over after care and offering of sunscreen and after service cream to keep skin calm. I recently had a Thermage treatment on my stomach at LaserAway and wanted to share my honest experience. My nurse (Sara) was very kind and professional. She made me feel comfortable during the procedure and seemed experienced in the aesthetics field. I truly appreciated her demeanor and care throughout the appointment. That said, I do wish I had been better educated beforehand about what to expect, both in terms of the treatment process and the results. In retrospect, the consultation felt very brief, and because I had never experienced Thermage before, I did not fully understand how specific the treatment area needed to be discussed and confirmed. There was also no mirror in the treatment room, so afterward I realized I was not really able to clearly show or double check my exact target area before we began, or after. I left feeling like I may have received only part of what I thought I was going to get, simply due to a lack of detailed communication beforehand. Thermage is a huge investment, and clearer expectations and more thorough education would have made a big difference in my overall experience. I did receive a call back from the manager, which I appreciated. However, I was told that addressing the area of concern was out of her hands- without having to pay for an entirely new treatment. I share this as constructive feedback. I have had a several procedures done here at the Bridgeport location. I had high hopes for a couple trouble areas on my body. The treatments did absolutely nothing for me. I did go back for repeat procedures on a couple areas..Nothing! I'm very disappointed as I had hopes for a change in the areas I had treated. A lot of money, and everything looks exactly the same! However, in August, I was assigned Britney for my Brazilian session. During preparation, Britney noticed my tattoos and, instead of using tape to cover them (as Michelle always did), insisted on covering them with her hand. Before I could even protest, she zapped me--twice--on one of my tattoos. The pain during that session was unbearable, far worse than any previous treatment. I was literally scooting up the bed, screaming. Later that evening, Britney called to suggest I apply extra aloe. In hindsight, it felt less like concern and more like damage control. Within a day, my tattoo began to "melt." A week later, I had a literal hole in my body. When I reached out to LaserAway, I was prescribed a $2 ointment. That's it. No sincere apology, no urgency, just a patchwork solution for what is now an ongoing physical and emotional ordeal. Months later, my tattoo is ruined, my skin's texture is permanently altered, and I am still healing. What's worse is how the management handled this. Cassidy, the clinical manager, showed complete insensitivity by scheduling Britney--whose negligence caused my injury--for a follow-up filler appointment. Even more appalling, Britney had just been certified for injections and I would have been one of her first patients. How could I possibly trust her again after what she did? When I demanded compensation to replace my tattoo, Cassidy initially agreed but later backtracked, offering only partial coverage for the areas directly hit by the laser. This is not just insulting--it's unrealistic. No tattoo artist is going to "fix" an aged and damaged tattoo by drawing a few lines. The skin texture in the affected areas has changed, making any repair meaningless. To top it all off, they offered 10 out of 14 tattoo removal sessions to "fix" the damage--meaning I'd still have to pay them after their recklessness caused me harm. This experience has been physically painful, emotionally draining, and financially insulting. LaserAway's negligence and lack of accountability are inexcusable. They are friendly, get you in and out quickly, and the laser hair removal prices seem like the best you'll find around Portland. As they warn you though, sometimes laser won't work. I have found no difference on my lip, chin, and forearms after having gotten through 6 or 7 of 10 treatments. I went to a medspa out of state that was also a bargain, volume-based business - but with really good results after just 3 treatments to underarms and legs. They totally warned me, but it's hard not to be disappointed when you invest that much money. I also don't love their sales model, avoiding having prices online, you have to instead go through a salesperson on the phone. read more

Each appointment I've been to has been a great experience and I've never waited a long time. The front desk is very helpful and does whatever they can to work with my schedule. I am seeing the results of Clear & Brilliant and have recommended to my friends and family that laser treatment is a great investment and Laseraway is a great place to get the treatment done. If you're just getting started, it's surely an investment but you really don't want to cheap out on medical aesthetics. Call the clinic directly to schedule a first time consultation! No transparency in pricing. Force you to have a consultation just to get pricing. Better quality spas in PDX manage this, do not sure why this company can't. My guess is they focus on bookings and prepaid bulk services and subscription models. Don't give them your info they will hound you. The staff is great and very friendly. I was hoping for better results, though. The amount of money I spent, the area treated should have been greater. With the 8 sessions I had, it felt like completing 6 or 7. I know it can't be 90-100% removed with 8 sessions, but I still am shaving close to the same as before I started. I spoke to Danielle, who was curt and flippant about what I wanted and only seemed interested in upselling me to do more areas. After letting them know I was only interested in the one area under my chin I had initially sought (which was quoted at $1200), I asked if there was anything more I needed to know. I expected them to tell me about the procedure or explain who makes a good candidate for this, not "Not if you're not going to book". Keep in mind, Danielle never talked about availability with me or a date when we could start. The whole call lasted 5 minutes, and it's clear I wasted my time with even investigating this business for that long. The staff is all very friendly. the nurse is clinical (which I like) and gets down to business right away. after four treatments I've seen some major results. the only thing I don't like is that it's hard to find out what anything cost on their website without getting bombarded with phone calls. if they could stop that practice and just make it easy to know the cost I'd give it 5 stars. read more

I'll start this with the fact that I have never written a review online like a Karen, but this was SO BAD I had to. I had been a client here for over a year and received Botox injections (24-30 on average) and had never had a complaint or issue. I was pushed to get Xeomin instead because it was "purer and lasts longer for a cheaper price and it works the same as Botox." I listened to the advice of the rep and then received DOUBLE my typical units of Botox with the Xeomin and saw NO improvement. At my two-week checkup I was told to purchase more units because with Xeomin I need at least 60+ to see improvement and was told that Botox freezes more than Xeomin does... Throughout my process every employee (aside from the nurses) was trying to convince me that I should have known better essentially. LaserAway isn't even accredited by the BBB because of their slimy business practices and desire to just take your money and run. They put no accountability on themselves and pushed it all towards me. Lesson learned to make sure I go to accredited business that actually desire to provide any customer service in the future. read more

With so many clinics offering these services this should be the last place you go to. They have over 100 clinics nationally and at any time multiple nurse practitioners available to medically clear you. I had no less than 3 different NP that I face timed with and sent photos to. I was cleared by all 3. After taking a $60 Uber ride, the timid inexperienced technician decided she needed one more opinion and asked a FOURTH np after taking photos. I had just scrubbed my face clean of makeup before my appointment which may have made me more red than usual. This 4th np decided I was 'too tan' for a simple IPL. The receptionist could not refund my prepaid appointment so now I have to waste my time blocking the charge not to mention the $120 wasted on Ubers. Medical clearance is incredibly important in laser treatments but so is consistency so you do not waste your clients time and money. Most clinics have a single doctor/np evaluate you so there is no room for multiple opinions. I will continue to go to the place I have gone to for years, I wish I had not tried something new and flashy. read more
