When I'm getting laser tattoo removal she makes me feel like I'm hanging out with one of my girlfriends. She definitely helps make a rough experience easier. The tattoo removal itself is very painful. I have a high pain tolerance, so I take it pretty well, but even then I'd say it's still rough. Make sure to let the team know about anything you notice with your skin after lasering and make sure to follow their aftercare instructions. I've been coming in for about 6 months now and I've noticed a big difference in some of my pieces. Shoutout to the girls at this location! You ladies make a tough experience a lot easier.

I booked a laser hair removal appointment weeks in advance for July 3rd and was told the location would be open. I called multiple times over the last few weeks and left voicemails trying to reach someone, I never got a single callback. I no longer live in the area and booked this appointment my only chance back in town. On the morning of my appointment I called to confirm since I never received a confirmation email or reminder. No one answered. I had to call the Manhattan Beach location just to find out that Costa Mesa was closed. I was never notified. No call, no email, nothing. This location has gone noticeably downhill. It is nearly impossible to reach anyone by phone, and they have switched away from medical grade numbing cream which has made tattoo removal significantly more painful than it used to be. I still have several sessions remaining that I need to use up, but if you are looking for a reliable provider I would honestly recommend going elsewhere. The quality of this location has gone down tremendously and I cannot in good conscience recommend it to anyone. I genuinely hope management addresses these issues because the service I experienced years ago was excellent. This is not that.

And while you wait for your service, you wait in a waiting room with massage chairs that you can enjoy and relax. This was key to my good experience while waiting a long time. I appreciated the time Dr. Phi spent in our consultation and providing his suggestion in some of the concerns I had. His RN was also very friendly & sweet, checking on how I am multiple times. During my procedure Dr Phi checked in on me multiple times and the RN to ensure I'm comfortable. The only thing I was displeased with was my appt was at 1pm. I didn't get out of there until 3pm. If I was prepped about the amount of wait time, that would have resolved my frustration. I was anticipating 30 min -1 hr. While I was there there was 2 other patients getting services. On the phone was super lovely, answered all of my questions. They texted me a couple days before to remind me to complete some consents and place a deposit for $50 consult which can be used towards treatment if we move forward after consult. Dr. Tariq presented as kind, warm, competent. I felt immediate trust in him to do my service. Yes it was painful, but that is expected. He used ice to numb the area for a short period of time before going in. Because the eyebrow area is so small, it is tolerable. I do want to say I have a high pain tolerance. To me beauty = pain. ;) I anticipated that I would need 6 sessions 6-8 weeks apart however Dr estimated 2-3 sessions 6 weeks apart. I am 6 days post treatment today and it's gotten so much lighter. I could probably stop here but I def want to have as much red removed as possible. Right after treatment, my whole tattoo appeared gone but shortly after the redness started and I was so swollen for 2 days. Used lots of ice and bought the $25 aloe treatment gel mixture they sell.
