Let's be honest, getting a wax is definitely not on my top 10 favorite things to do. But Colleen makes your experience so enjoyable! She moves quickly and strategically so you are done before you know it! Not to mention that her personality is so warm and bubbly :) If you are nervous to get a wax on your lower region, don't be! Colleen makes you feel so comfortable and is one of the best people to have a conversation with that you forget that she is all up in your business. One of the many things that I love about her is she will make sure there aren't any stragglers hanging around and will pluck the hairs most waxologists miss. I just visited Colleen's new studio for the first time and it's absolutely amazing! The space is decorated very nicely and has nice lighting with a crystal chandelier that makes you feel so cozy with her! First off, Colleen is a superb aesthetician. She takes so much time and care with everything she does to make sure that she gets all of the hair removed without damaging your skin. I've seen Colleen for maybe 8 or 9 months now and am always thrilled with the results that she gets with little to no pain! To top it off she is super bubbly and fun to talk to. We always chat for the full hour and a half of my appointments and I always have a great time. Moving with Colleen to her new studio allowed me to try the new products she's selected to work with now that she's on her own! Let me tell you, they are great. She uses this amazing green tea body wax for my legs and they feel great after! The way pulls hair better than any other leg wax I've seen before, and it hurts less than other leg waxes. The hardwax she uses for face and bikini regions smells like cherries and again, totally minimal pain. Colleen is always there to answer questions about the products she's using or the possible side effects from waxing. She's an amazing resource for any of my questions about skin care related to and not related to waxing. I am so proud of Colleen for opening her own space, it turned out so beautifully! Colleen is so wonderful! I've been seeing her for about a year now, and she has never been any less than amazing. This was by far the best Brazilian Wax I've ever had! I've gone from fancy day spas to The Pretty Kitty. At POLISHED Skincare hair is properly pulled from the root- not split in half causing the ribbon effect for my hair to curl into my skin causing unsightly ingrown "vag-acne" (as She put it). My go to for a flawless spray tan and amazing brows! Colleen will exceed your expectations! I'm very picky about both spray tans and my eyebrows. My spray tans always look natural and never orange which is a huge plus for me. As far as eyebrows go, even since moving back to San Diego no one has touched my eyebrows since!
