The individual treatment rooms have walls but no ceiling. The overpowering music is meant to muffle the sound of voices and activities on the other side of the partitions. However, I found it impossible to block the loud music from my mind and challenging to relax because of it. This was the major downside to this place. I was kept waiting 30 mins past my appointment time. This meant that the second service (facial) started and ended 30-40 mins later than planned. The facial was average. They do not allow any speaking, even whispering, so it's definitely not a spa environment to catch up in! I do think a few things could be altered to further improve the bathhouse experience, though! There's a very small hallway where all the lockers, changing rooms and bathrooms are, as well as the only place to come or go. It's very cramped and makes it hard to maneuver in or out. There are only two bathrooms in the bath house, and they also double as the showers which did impact the practicality of getting ready afterwards. Additionally, I would recommend improving the flow between massage and bathhouse since you have to carry all of the items you came in with down a set of stairs in a robe. My esti was very kind - she asked me about my current routine and I walked through what I was using. Some of her suggestions surprised me, as they differed from what my dermatologist had recommended, but appreciated her input. The treatment itself was good - I love seeing how much gunk the hydrafacial pulls out! I was a bit bummed that my facial didn't include neck or décolletage - other facials I've gotten at other spaces have done those as part of the facial. Perhaps that's just not included with a hydrafacial? As the most expensive offering though, it was a bit of a bummer. I do feel it helped hydrate and cleanse my face, but am not sure if I would come back soon for that particular treatment. After my third session, the business relocated and remained closed for about 5 weeks, disrupting the treatment schedule, yet I continued receiving appointment confirmations during that time. When I later tried to use my remaining prepaid services (Neveskin and Restylane filler), I was told I would need to pay an additional $400 due to "inflation" despite already paying in full. When I asked for clarification on this policy, I received inconsistent answers and was told I was "attacking" the owner for asking questions. Overall, my experience raised concerns about consistency, communication, and honoring prepaid services.
