Bronchitis, sinus infections, flus, requests for bloodwork or MRIS, kidney stones, and maintenance medications. Dr. jendry I find to be the compassionate and willing to do the most digging when it comes to complex medical problems. I have complex needs and he has been nothing short of providing me a quality of life again. Jenny, well she has zero bed side manner. This past week I went in with a severe cough that kept me up, and she sent me in my way saying it's really nothing and to ride it out. I ended up the in ER because I was wheezing, coughing up blood, and couldn't catch my breath. Acute bronchitis. Also, because I was self pay I had only asked since jendry wasn't in if they were okay writing a controlled script to save me another 90 dollar visit, and she insinuated I had 400 of this substance when I did not. I would avoid her appointments if possible. Eileen's husband is the best MA ever. Euler and all the front desk is amazing. I've never seen dr. Glossier but from what I've heard he's pretty outstanding too.

He was reluctant to refill my thyroid medication despite my levels being low- normal and having nearly every symptom of hypothyroidism. He would not fill my estrogen cream, despite the fact that it had been helping my insomnia, fatigue, and other symptoms of menopause. Erik clearly does not understand Functional medicine and he had no clue that my previous provider was also trained in western medicine, has a master's degree as a PA, specializing in internal medicine and more. She is a Master Restorative Wellness Practitioner, author, and professor. (Unfortunately, her office went concierge, so I can longer see her). It is so disappointing that Erik has chosen to deny me of my medicatios that I have been on for years and ignore how this will diminish my quality of life. I was incredibly pleased to find Dr. Gerber and his colleagues in Littleton.... and they accept my insurance - another feat! This practice is amazing. I've seen Dr. Jennifer Hooker several times now and really appreciate the attention she gives me. She's interested in not only the data (labs, bloodwork, vitals, etc.) But we talk about my lifestyle, my diet, how I'm managing stress and my quality of sleep. When was the last time your doc really listened to you? The office is very comfortable and offers magazines that support your health (cookbooks, LCHF research and articles). This alone made me smile when I first checked in. The office staff is also super friendly, patient and also very attentive. I appreciated the atmosphere they create. After all, generally when we're visiting a doc's office, something's up. I've needed to call my insurance on several occasions to do their job for them, and have been told repeatedly by my insurance that "the doctors office should really be doing this work". The elderly librarian-looking woman is also very unfriendly. Which I wouldn't mind, if she did her job properly. She also became extra rude when I asked for the information needed to check coverage on my own. She knows she should be doing this, and gets cranky when a patient knows enough to realize the work hasn't been done and wants to do it on their own. Worst of all worlds.

It is a tough task. It is an especially tough task when the parent that we must care for is located about 1500 Miles away. I was in need of a Primary Care Physician for my mother, and even with the Internet at my disposal, trying to find one in Colorado while I was in Oregon was a daunting task. After many disappointing leads, I finally called what was the last place that I had jotted down. Needless to say, I was not very optimistic when I called after striking out with so many previous attempts. Words can not begin to describe my relief when Sharon (who happens to be the office manager for Chatfield Family Health) answered the phone. She really saved the day. She was professional, caring, attentive, focused on the patient's needs over the details of how they were going to get paid, attentive to my needs being so far away, and efficient. Talk about giving me sound piece of mind!! After hearing my concerns, she advised me that Dr. Laurie Patton would be a perfect fit for my mother's medical care. She was absolutely correct. Dr. Patton is an amazing soul. Caring, professional, possessing a wonderful bed-side manner, efficient, proactive.....I could go on and on. My mother loves her and that is an amazing compliment in itself as she has had her share of mistrust with some docs. I paid that at the time of my appointment…read more Months later, I was randomly charged almost the same amount again -- for things I was never told would cost extra. I've been dealing with the medical system for going on 3 years now after being diagnosed with PPPD (Persistent Postural Perceptual Dizziness), which has completely flipped my life upside down. I had just relocated to stay with family because my condition made it impossible to live independently. I called this office ahead of time because I was about to lose my job and health insurance. I told them I was paying out of pocket and asked for the cost of a new patient visit. They said $150 plus tax, that's it. So I went in, got my vitals taken, filled out the usual depression and anxiety screeners, talked briefly about my PPPD symptoms, and the NP suggested I try allergy meds in case it was Eustachian tube related. Then I paid the $150 I was told about and left. What I didn't expect was to get billed again -- apparently because I filled out their mental health questionnaires (which added $50 to my bill) and they upgraded my visit to a "Level 4" visit, which costs $278. No one told me that answering those forms would cost extra or that my visit would be coded as anything beyond a basic intake. At no point during or after the appointment did anyone say I owed more. I even paid at checkout. So what gives? Feels like a bait-and-switch. I was upfront about my situation and trying to plan responsibly -- and still got hit with extra fees months later for things no one disclosed. Just be aware.
