I went in and had the pleasure of being seen by Carly Giacomo, PA. She was thorough and kept following up with me to ensure I was taken care of in a timely manner. She was knowledgeable, caring and I felt completely confident in her care. I ended up having a major issue and her prompt assistance helped my issue from turning into something even more serious. I visited this urgent care for severe abdominal pain. I waited approximately two hours for an X-ray and was told it was needed to rule out appendicitis. Due to worsening pain and waiting two hours for a diagnosis I couldn't commit more than 2 hours. When I returned, I had a disagreement with the front desk regarding insurance and ultimately did not receive a prescription, diagnosis, or follow-up care. I was seen only by a physician assistant, not a physician. I continue to have significant pain and did not feel my condition was adequately addressed. I am still in severe pain and still don't know if I need emergency surgery. read more

Made an appointment (place holder) for noon, and filled out all the paperwork online. I needed to get an x-ray. I limped in at 11:45 and was told I had to do the paperwork again, because they didn't get it. I was encouraged by the fact that it is a nice office and I was the only one in the waiting room. But then they were unable to verify my insurance from my card. They said if it didn't go through I would have to pay. I waited over an hour, while others walked in and were seen before me. When they finally called me in to a room, I noticed several young employees in scrubs leaning on the wall or sitting, playing games or watching videos on their phones. I was asked again why I was there. I said,"Don't you have it there on your screen? I filled out the form ..." She said, "That doesn't mean anything." After my vitals were taken, I waited another 15 minutes. I asked what was taking so long, and the answer I got was that they are understaffed. By this time it looked like I was going to miss another appointment, so I limped out, without being seen. Perhaps there is only one doctor who works very slowly? They definitely need to restrict employee access to phones during work time and do some training about customer service. If they don't have enough doctors, why do they offer so many appointments? The feeling was that no one cared if I was helped or not. Very disappointing! read more

So recently, prior to an upcoming trip out of state, I found myself needing to see a doctor due to an unseen, sudden illness (not in anyway Covid related). It was over the weekend, and my doctors office was closed. I debated but decided to come here. It's a very nice facility located near my home. It's a walk in clinic with the exception of symptoms that could be related to Covid. I walked in, filled out the paperwork and after only waiting about 5 minutes I was escorted to an exam room. I was only in the exam room about 2 minutes when Susan Golden PA, entered the room. She was very professional and nice. She quickly assessed me and ran some quick tests. She confirmed my suspicion about the root of my illness and called in 2 prescriptions to my local Walgreens. I was only in the facility about 35 minutes. This may or may not be typical. I don't know. I was impressed with the facilities cleanliness and layout. All staff were masked and friendly. I did confirm that they were in network with my insurance. I just hope the billing process is as smooth as the visit itself. If the billing process goes "South" I will reassess. As of right now, a solid 4 stars. read more

It took 75 min to get a simple COVID test (that's with scheduling a spot ahead of time). I was shuffled room to room, provider to provider - inefficient and not safe in terms of infection control. Later received an email stating a letter from my provider was posted to my portal with instructions. No letter, I waited a day, still no letter. I tried to email through the portal, but since there is no provider with a letter, no way to even contact anyone. I called and have been on hold for 30 min. I work in health care and recognize our health care systems are overwhelmed and I've tried to afford the clinic patience. But this is shoddy health care. I was so grateful for the care I received. I came In after hurting my foot. The waiting area is very nice with a few private like sitting areas as well a playroom for kids. A fireplace kept the room cozy. I checked in online and filled out my paperwork ahead of time which I love. I waited about 10 minutes. My nurse took my info and was very kind. When the doctor said I needed an X-ray, I expected to wait for hours. I didn't. A tech came in and took my films and was very gentle and kind. The doctor came in and explained that I broke my leg and referred me to a surgeon. The nurse wrapped my leg in a temporary cast. They gave me a copy of my images, called in my Rx and sent me on my way. I am so happy with the care I received. read more

I called the front desk to check why and girl told me "she has called me 3 times and cancelled my appt" I have no missed calls and was never ever informed about it being cancelled. Horrible horrible. I had such a wonderful experience here! After a very rough weekend of horrible constant coughing, barely sleeping, tons of congestion, and a horrible headache, I decided to visit urgent care. I couldn't handle another night of no sleep and tons of coughing. I arrived right after they opened and was greeted by a very sweet receptionist. She walked me through how to check-in via mobile and it was so quick and easy. I only waited for maybe 20-30 minutes and then was taken back. I got my vitals taken and then taken to a room to talk with the doctor. The nurse and doctor were wonderful! Very kind and sweet to me. I will absolutely come back here if I need to again. DO NOT EVER COME TO THIS URGENT CARE! This was the WORST experience I have ever had! I'm completely disgusted and beside myself! I called ahead to proactively see if I should even bother to go there with a knee that popped last night and I couldn't put any weight on). My foot and leg are colder and darker than the other leg. They said to come on in...The triage nurse was horrible - didn't even look at me...just detached and typing out my symptoms. Didn't offer me a warm blanket in the freezing room. She then tells me, "We only have one DOCTOR tonight so please be patient" - the person that comes in introduces herself as "a provider" - and is really a Nurse Practioner...(I had to ask)...orders an X-ray for a pop in my knee (when I knew I would need an MRI)- and does not address my possible blood clot...after I explained I have a rare disease of my arteries. She slapped an ace bandage on and told me if it didn't feel better in five days - to go see my PCP!! It also did not help that the staff was having tons of fun counting down the seconds to 7:00 and cheering "CLOSED!" while I was still in agony in the room! I KNOW there is a lot of stress on staff in these settings. I grew up with family in healthcare! But there was little CARE about my experience, and it was a huge waste of time to go there. I am losing faith that I will find the right people to help me as my body continues to break down. read more

Was in town visiting my cousins and got sick. Stopped at OnPoint to be seen for a possible sinus infection and strep throat. Though the wait time was about 45 mins the office staff was friendly and polite. I met with NP Steven Ginsburg who helped me out. He looked into my mouth and stated that I had the biggest set of tonsils he had ever seen and guessed it was strep throat. He did a strep throat test on me and He was able to almost immediately figure out what my diagnosis was and prescribe me some medicine. I thought his professionalism and sense of humor made my visit more enjoyable despite that I was feeling terrible. I would defiantly go back here again. Garbage. Before checking in the made me pay over the phone. A few minutes later I get a call to check in. After checking in one the phone, while in the parking lot, they didn't want me to go in because I had A (one) symptom of Covid, they told me I would get a text in 5min that would link me to a face time with the doctor. I waited 30 mins then called and they said I was next up. People have came and gone at this point. Another 30mins I call again and they say the same thing. Walked in unsure of the process for checking in. Went to the imagining side of the front desk without realizing. Was questioned rudely by a lady with long dark hair, all the while I'm trying to be pleasant amidst severe back pain. She was so confrontational and unhelpful, I was stupefied to answer her questions. "I don't know why you're here." "Is this for imaging?" "Go over there and they'll help you." When someone comes in for medical attention, kindness is needed. These types of people should not be in health care. read more

In early February, I slipped and fell on black ice. I hurt my wrist and was concerned it may be broken, so I drove myself to OnPoint in Highlands Ranch. I definitely needed my navigation, as it's back in what appears to be a business park - I don't think I would have found it on my own. Parking was plentiful Saturday morning. When I walked in, I was impressed by the decor and muted tones - it was more of an upscale waiting room than I was expecting. The receptionist was friendly, and kept me informed at all steps. Checking in was easy - I did it on an iPad. There were a few other people in the waiting room, but lucky for me, I didn't have to wait long. The intake process once admitted in was equally easy. My exam didn't take long, and then it was off for x-rays in the back. All told, I was there for no more than an hour, probably 45 minutes. The process was easy to understand, and straightforward. It took about a month to receive all the bills associated with my visit. If I finds self needing urgent care in the future, I'll definitely go back. read more

I visited this urgent care on June 25th and received extremely poor service from the provider I saw, Laura O'Connell. She was very dismissive and did not care to listen to me or how I was feeling. I came in on that Sunday because I was in a lot of pain with a severe sore throat and sinus infection and my normal doctor's office was closed. After finally being seen after 2 hours of waiting, she tried sending me home with no treatment. Only after I broke down crying did she agree to give me antibiotics to treat it, and tried telling me about the over prescribing of antibiotics. She gave me a very low dose for only 1 week and told me I "probably wouldn't need it". Fast forward a week, I am still feeling miserable and my throat is still killing me. I went into my regular doctors office and got a 2nd opinion and they said that OnPoint Urgent Care absolutely under treated me. So I have been suffering for 2 whole weeks and wasted time and money at this urgent care. I want to let people know do NOT waste your time here. They will treat you like you're lying, making up symptoms, etc. and that you "don't need medicine". Go to a regular doctor instead if you actually want to be taken care of and treated. I am disgusted at the service I received here and have been continuously suffering due to her lack of care. read more

I went in with horrible back pain (I have a plethora of auto immune problems). With the storm coming in, and my PCP being booked for the holiday week, i trudged myself to the urgent care. The NP o saw took me so seriously, and I appreciated all of his concern to make sure I can bring down the inflammation of lumbar and sacral spine. I booked my appointment/wait time to begin at 4:20. I checked in inside and was sent to my car to wait. I called an HOUR later after sitting in my running car with a fever for an hour and asked what was happening. I was reminded that they don't have appointment times... which I get. The problem is, patients are forced to wait in their cars for extended periods of time. It is too hot and gas prices are way too high to sit and wait in a parking lot. I'm ready to be treated like a patient not an animal. People get sick and shouldn't be made to wait outside. I then asked how many doctors they had and the answer was 1. There was maybe one person in front of me. I told them they need to let patients know that the wait will be long due to lack of providers. I was then hung up on. Very unprofessional. Dont waste your time or money here! Especially when you need treatment and aren't feeling well. read more

I came in today with a terrible earache...Eric was the person who mostly worked with me flushing my ear and very patiently get all the wax out ...he was caring, attentive , and did a great job! The dr on duty at the time (didn't catch his name) was also super helpful I getting all of it out and relieving my pain! Not that I enjoying going to the doctor --- and to that point if you are heading to urgent care it usually isn't under the best of circumstances. All that said, I have found OnPoint to be fantastic alternative to my regular doctor. First off the waiting room is very relaxing, quiet and large so you are not on top of each other. The receptionists that I have encountered have all been very professional and polite. As compared to other facilities, I have had to only wait around 10-20 minutes to be seen. Of course this is an unknown variable and not in their control --- but I have been very pleased both on a weekday and weekend. As for the reason you are there.... The medical staff has always been attentive and understanding of my visit. I have been very pleased when I receive a call from the actual doctor that saw me just following up. read more

When she went, they took her number for a "virtual appointment", and after that, they'll give her an appointment to go in. I took my 8yo son to OnPoint last weekend & can't sing their praises enough. He needed a liter of fluids via IV & Mike did an amazing job, not just technically, but also by encouraging him & making him feel at ease. Nurse Steve took amazing care of my son & went above & beyond for us. Both gentlemen also reassured me throughout the process & made me feel at ease. I love that we were able to avoid the ER, get great service, never felt rushed to make decisions, had attentive, knowledgeable & empathetic staff. Thank you, Steve! Thank you, Mike! We put our names in on the waiting list for a routine visit at 2:17pm and didn't actually get in until 5:52pm. They deceived us by sending a text saying to show up at 3:30pm. On weeknight we paid our copay and waited and waited. After an hour, we were told it would probably take 3 hours to see a doctor. We decided to leave, but asked for a refund for our copay. We were told they couldn't do it. We needed to call the following day. We did call the following day, and were told that we needed to wait for a callback. The callback came a couple of hours later. They did cancel the credit card payment They should have us, when they took our copay that the expected wait time was 4 hours. They never did. we ended up going elsewhere to receive care. read more

This is by far thee slowwwwwest urgent care I've been to.....they literally take the opposite approach to time is of the essence. Time literally stops. I'm not one to be impatient all the time but when all you're doing is asking questions and writing prescriptions most of the time they can at least speed things up to a snails pace. I HAVE FILED A COMPLAINT WITH THE DEPARTMENT OF INSURANCE. Pursuant to C.R.S 10-16-704 sections 3 and 5.5, In addition to pursuant C.R.S 12-30-113. I went to this location as they accept my insurance. I was seen on August 19th at this location. I had a head trauma wound as I was bleeding from frontal bone of my skull. This was an emergency situation. I paid my copay and provided my insurance when I arrived at the clinic. I received several stitches. Last week, I received a surprise bill from the clinic for $745. Friday 11/11/22 I called the front office to ask to speak with a manger. I have had issues contacting the billing department in the past to ask questions on previous visits. I spoke with the front desk and stated that I had received a bill and verified my PPO United Health insurance coverage was on file. She stated that it was and would need to reach out to her supervisor as she was not familiar with billing or how to proceed. She stated I would receive a call back. On Monday (today, 11/14/22) I called into the clinic and spoke with the front desk. I asked to speak with a manager, as I explained I was expecting a call back from the manager Friday or any time over the weekend. She patched me through to the manager's direct line. It went to voicemail. I then called back through the calling tree to the front desk and informed that individual that if I did not receive a call back today, I would be filing a complaint with the Department of Insurance. She said she would let her manager know. I did not receive a call back. In sum, expect surprise billing, to not be contacted, not receive customer service, and when you ask questions there will not be someone around to answer. I have wasted hours attempting to contact the correct individuals at this practice. Do not make the same mistake. read more

We called to set a Telehealth appointment for my son who is has been very ill the last few days. We were told that they were not doing Telehealth today and to set an appointment. We arrived for the appointment and were told to wait in the car and someone would be out in a few minutes. 40 minutes later (in 85 degree heat) after watching several other people walk in and be seen, we went to see what the delay was. We were told that our issue was not critical and that we continue to wait or go home and they would call us when they had time to see us. If that's how they operate, why was it not communicated way before 40 minutes in the parking lot? After another 45 minutes at home, we had to call 3 times before we actually got a person on the phone to cancel our appointment. Don't waste your time and effort dealing with this place. read more

I came in for a bad tooth. I told them it was going to be up to a week to get in to see my dentist! They made me paid $179 dollars for 3 minutes to see a doctor. I already knew what I needed to get for medicine. I needed an antibiotic and pain medicine. I called back a week later to get some more Antibiotics and they wouldn't give me enough until I could see my dentist that Friday. They wanted me to pay another $179 dollars. $360 in a weeks time for the same thing seems excessive when this wasn't my first rodeo! This company is a rip off company. They care nothing about the person. (They only care about getting your money Plain and simple!!!!!!!!) We took my son there for a second visit. The hours posted are until 7:30. I called on my way there to make sure they would see him as long as we arrived by 7:30. I was assured we would but when we got there the doors were locked. I was told their doors are on a timer and they have no control even thought it was not yet 7:30. When your child is sick and needs urgent care the last thing you want to do is drive to multiple locations. read more

THE WORST! Scheduled appt for 2:00, then received text stating the visit would be virtual because I am symptomatic. Ok fine, the text AND email both say to login for virtual visit at 1:50, which I did. I then sat there for 50 minutes waiting for a provider. Finally logged out and called the urgent care directly. Was told it wasn't really an appointment, just a placeholder and someone had tried to call me. NOBODY tried to call me, as I've had my phone in hand for the past hour waiting for a SCHEDULED virtual visit. I finally get a call to go over my symptoms and current meds. 10 minutes later I get a text stating the provider will "see" me now. 5 minute virtual visit and he tells me to come in for a test. Asks if I want the more accurate test or less accurate test? Are you serious? Tells me to park in back where I parked last summer for a test. I waited there 30 minutes then called. Spoke to Bethany and told her I was at the back of the building near the sign with a 1 on it, waiting for a test. Nothing happens for another 30 minutes so I called again. She tells me she'll send someone right out. Another 10 minutes goes by when my phone rings, they say they don't see me and that I need to pull in where it says AMBULANCE. There is NO SUCH SIGN. I finally found where to go, literally 25 feet away from where I was originally parked and FINALLY got the test I needed. At least the tech who did the test was pleasant enough. read more
