I went to this location for a DOT physical and drug test, it was recommended by the employer that I…read morewas dealing with. I came in at 8am on a Thursday morning, sat for 20 minutes (I was the first person through the door) only to be told that they didn't have anyone that was DOT certified because he didn't show up to work. Their suggestion was that I could drive to their location in Katy or wait until Saturday and go to their location in Pasadena. Saturday morning, show up to their location in Pasadena, told that not only did their certified DOT physician call out, but that since my paperwork listed the location on East Freeway, they couldn't help me. I returned to this location and surprise, their DOT physician is there! So I sit for an hour before being called back. The medical assistant was awesome, she did all the tests and everything was perfect, then I had to wait for the doctor. The doctor comes into the room, accuses me of having high blood pressure (my bp was 126/80) accused me of having diabetes, asked me to "say ah" then demanded that I have an expensive sleep apnea test or he was only giving me a 3 month medical card. I've never gotten a medical card that was less than two years. When I told him that I wasn't going to take a sleep apnea test, he got really annoyed and started acting belligerent. He yelled across the lab that "this guy refuses to do what I said, he refuses to finish his physical, refund his money!" and stormed off. Super unprofessional, I highly recommend that you go somewhere else, especially if you're trying to get a DOT Physical.

I am absolutely disgusted by the way my mother was treated at Urgent Care MD in Crosby. She came in…read morebecause she believed she had the flu and simply informed the receptionist that she has an ostomy so they would be aware of her medical history. Before she was ever evaluated by a nurse or medical provider, she was told they would not see her and was sent away. The receptionist said that she talked to the provider and relayed the information that she has an ostomy and was told she needs to go to the emergency room and that they could not treat her there. She was denied the opportunity to be assessed by a provider after disclosing that she has an ostomy. She never received a medical evaluation she only spoke with the receptionist before being turned away. To make matters worse, my mother asked if her daughter could speak with someone about the situation, and the receptionist told her, "We don't do that here." There was no attempt to have a provider, nurse, or manager speak with us or even explain the decision. No patient should be dismissed without being evaluated, especially after disclosing a medical condition or disability. An ostomy should not automatically prevent someone from receiving basic urgent care or, at the very least, an assessment by a qualified healthcare professional. This experience was humiliating, unacceptable, and showed a complete lack of compassion, professionalism, and respect. We expected healthcare, not to be turned away at the front desk without ever seeing a provider. Based on our experience, I would strongly encourage others to think twice before trusting this clinic with their care.
