They treat the patients so poorly like it an assembly line. Been here a few times the doctors aren't trained correctly.

And instead of taking his time to go over the important things to be discussed, the lookalike whizzes through a summary, barely looking up from the page. You're kinda pissed now, right? Welp, that was me yesterday. I've been looking for a new doc since the oneI loved stopped taking my insurance. The company recommended Dr. Singh when I requested a female doctor and sent me a new card with her as my PCP. I researched her credentials and had my first appointment in August. She was kind and patiently answered my questions and took some blood. I felt like I'd trust her more over time and was happy to have a closer doctor. She told me to return in a few weeks for test results. I've been anxious about my kidneys and metabolism. Dr. Singh has two offices blocks apart on Liberty Ave. For my follow-up, I went to the family practice and was told that she wasn't there, that she wasn't in at all. The urgent care did have my appointment, and a lovely nurse took my vitals. Then, a male doctor walked in with the sheaf of my results. He sped through the numbers along with some template patter about eating fruits and vegetables. The average doc spends 17 minutes min with a patient. This guy was done in less than 12. I felt like a speed bump, an intrusion in his day. He told me to come back in a couple weeks. I knew that my return was dependent on seeing Dr. Singh, the PCP on my insurance. The receptionist said it's hard to get Dr. Singh since she's usually at her third practice in Hicksville. I walked out, annoyed. But I ended up at the family practice and asked if there's a female doctor who is regularly in the office. I was given her card and am deciding if I should make the appointment. Or I could switch my insurance so I can return to the great one I have been seeing for years.

If I could give -5 stars, I would. This is a terrible place with unacceptable customer service…read more They failed to provide information they should have given us from the beginning. When we returned to get that information, we were told the account was inactive and therefore they could not access it--something that should have been clarified earlier. I spoke with a man named Rehan and another named Sam. Sam hung up on me more than three times, and every time I called back, I had to repeat the same issue from the beginning. After explaining everything, they would say "one moment" and then disconnect the call. This is absolutely terrible service, especially from people who are supposed to be patient and helpful. I do not recommend this place to anyone.

As of this year 2025 I've had several issues varying from that office. I came in feeling unwell and they put drugged feelings prescribing me medication I don't use nor did not pick up, they switched over my local pharmacy from CVS Pharmacy to WALGREENS Pharmacy, I have never told them to switch over anything and I didn't ask for any medication from the doctor there. With the help of his nurses they used medical instruments wrongfully on me aswell leaving the plastic casing of a thin thermometer on whiles placing it under my tounge without proper protection/ procedure , even after I asked if that's the covering for it she assured me yes it was and kept it there for over minutes, therefore Violating my rights but they did not stop there they proceeded to let another lady into my appointment as a violation of my rights and medical and HIPPA Rights. They also declined me to having a physical and any personal panels, I am extremely upset being this is supposed to be a medical seekout center and the employees have done many wrongful acts towards me, I am contacting due to moving forward on finding out how you will compensate me for your employees wrong doings. I am a essential worker. I am also an exemplary employee, ergo, in 2020 era of turbulent times there is no margin for error or absenteeism. As New York City's coronavirus positivity cases is rising at an extravagant rate it is, surely, making me leary, despondent and wary with the "every man for himself" belief. Morale has gravely plateau. A unified cooperative approach that leads to better chances of success has rapidly declined. Nevertheless, to ensure a healthy and mentally phlegmatic disposition being tested is the resolution. This location absolutely does not make appointments as it is a "walk-in" basis for first come, first served policy. As I walk towards this medical clinic the big fat long line spewing outdoors snake around was very intimidating which forced me to take a day off from work. I arrived at 9 am on a mild cold December Monday morning and entered the site at 2:30 pm after five (5) arduous long exhaustive hours of standing outdoors waiting on line. The staff depicted minimal empathy by distributing hand warmers to patients and answer any general questions while standing outdoors waiting on line in the cold where kindness encourage a constructive outlook rather than negative rebuke which produces destructive dark thoughts. Humanity is sorrowfully lacking in turbulent times. The staff does very little to depict genuine compassion, empathy, support, boast morale, optimism for positive encouragement in turbulent times, ergo two Yelp stars. I received my result after twenty (20) minutes on site while sitting in the patient chair full of anxiety, wary and intense panic and worry, amid results are also emailed directly to patients. CityMD also have a online patient portal where patients can confidentially access their medical information. Computerized registration for check-in makes the process expedite to be confidentially seen by a physician. Temperature, and blood pressure are taken before the nose swab is administrated. I thought all COVID-19 tests were free of fees, but low and behold a male staff stated "all medical insurance covers COVID-19 tests." Note: Bring valid photo identification, insurance card, and a working email address. CityMD complies with COVID-19 CDC compliance and guidelines. CityMD's website explains various COVID-19 tests offered and what proper measures and medical guidelines as per CDC should be taken, which are very resourceful. Be prepared to wait approximately a minimum of three (3) arduous hours standing on line outdoors. Absolutely no appointments.

Silver Star Urgent Care service is efficient, organized and effective with respect to patient's privacy and customer service. Registration can be completed via their website, the preferred method, but I mistakenly did not checked "I agree" and was distributed paper patient registration forms. The security guard is very helpful, very welcoming, very eloquent spoken, well mannered with customer service, and very patient with directives for triage, intake and registration, patient waiting results, and post care advisement for COVID-19 CPR results. The waiting area is large and seating is setup as per CDC guidelines of six feet social distancing. Four stars as unlike their competitors, Silver Star does not distribute any medical advisement materials of what to do when you tested positive. Furthermore, four stars because the technician blatantly aggressive inserted the swab entirely upward inside my two nostrils' canals which, my opinion, is certainly NOT medical necessary as per CDC guideline "insert the swab no more than 3/4 inch (1.5 cm) into the nose" and was immensely painful as the Gates of Hell!! The physician or medical technician was NOT gentle for the swab insertion into my two nostrils' canal as I squealed in abject pain loudly! There is no empathy, and no compassion from this inept medical personnel. source: https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/testing/How-To-Collect-Anterior-Nasal-Specimen-for-COVID-19.pdf

Never got a call from them after 4 days after testing, not a call after 5 days, nothing after 6 days, 7 days, 8 days, etc. We kept calling them but no one ever picked up, always went to voicemail and they don't like to return calls to people. When they do, they continued to lie about when the test result will be ready. Their speed of handling COVID testing is ridiculous and their lack of communication to patients is irresponsible. Go to CITYMD or other testing places instead.
