I am appalled by the reviews people have written about Dr. Goodfellow and her credentials, bedside manner and staff. Following a serious emergency hospital stay and follow up, i required extensive communication and coordination with Dr Goodfellow and her office regarding surgery, CT Scans, MRI, second opinions, diabetes and a number of other issues I have going on. The practice is always there for me and always advises properly. During COVID I was seen only if I did not have COVID sympoms and always with a mask. once during COVID I came back from Ireland with a very severe virus. I got an appointment that same day with the PA outside. It was in a clean, clear grassy area at a picnic table and we both wore masks. I had excellent care and felt heard and safe in the medication she prescribed. It was not a dark alley as other reviewers made it sound. That was not uncommon during COVID. I have experience and confidence in Dr. Goodfellow am grateful for the many years of truly expert care she has given me.

My CT scans and bloodwork were not being printed or handled correctly, which made the process feel disorganized and stressful. The doctor did order some testing, including a muscle biopsy, but I did not feel that the biopsy process was coordinated well. There did not seem to be clear agreement between all of my doctors about which side/muscle should be biopsied. When the biopsy came back negative, the conclusion seemed to be that I did not have myositis, even though I had multiple other findings and symptoms that still needed to be explained. I left feeling dismissed and without a clear plan. I understand that a negative biopsy is important, but I expected a more thorough explanation of my abnormal markers, MRI findings, symptoms, and next steps. Overall, I did not feel this office was helpful for my situation.

We didn't even mention it to him but was on her hospital paperwork and he must have picked it up from reviewing them! After spending more than 90 minutes in the office, we were simply told to return to the same pain management doctor she had previously seen and intentionally chose not to go back to. Rather than showing empathy trying to understand why we were seeking another opinion, he questioned our decision and offered little meaningful guidance. The entire experience left us feeling dismissed, frustrated, and unsupported at a time when compassionate care was most needed.
