Until I had to leave due to a health issue, and couldn't work out anymore. This was very difficult as a lifelong fitness buff. I informed Hazel Dell Orange Theory that I'd need to cancel my membership starting in October, and they charged me $161 anyway, even though I would not be able to use the membership. The guy at the front desk was cold and matter-of-fact stating a policy instead of being gracious. I understand policies are important guidelines. But sometimes the human being involved is more important. Having to stop working out was hard enough - seeing a $161 charge when I told them I couldn't use it, was salt in the wound. If you're going to sign up at an Orange Theory, know that other locations will care more about you, and you can work out at any location. So sign up somewhere else instead of Hazel Dell.

Many classes to choose from and times that work with my schedule. There are a variety of body types and ages of women working out, so I feel super comfortable and welcomed. The classes are awesome, they are challenging for a beginner like me, but the trainers are great to give options on moves that still make you feel the workout. I leave each class feeling mentally uplifted and sore as heck, but a good 'I worked hard' sore. 100% recommend.

I have been doing the burn at home workouts for 3 years and was disappointed when they rolled out…read morethe new App, I had trouble creating my account as the App wouldn't let me enter my credit card so I called into the local burnbootcamp location and I got help over the phone to activate my membership. That worked for a week now all of a sudden when I login the App says my membership doesn't exist even though I've paid for it!! What is going on? I've sent emails and voicemails and waiting for a call back, they should have customer service hours on the weekend. The app has some glitchy problems that don't seem to be addressed in a timely manner. I depend on these workouts and can't access them right now. Hopefully they will get it fixed soon. Terrible app!!!

Volofit by TMB has quickly become my favorite gym, and not only because it's right by our home. The…read moregym is very clean and well-kept and focuses on HIIT- style workouts. Every visit is different - with different focuses, like Endurance, Strength, Upper, Lower, etc. - so you always feel you're working different parts of your body and it never gets boring. That part is great, but what makes this place special is the community that comes with it. Everyone who comes here to workout builds one another up and encourages you. It's been super fulfilling to see others grow stronger and fitter alongside us. The coaches will push you while being supportive, and make sure you are doing each movement correctly. That's something that's really important to me at a gym- getting the corrections needed to do things properly to avoid injury and to get stronger. Each of the coaches takes the time to know your name and something about you so you don't feel like just another head in the class. Parking is a challenge, but with a little patience you'll find someone on their way out. Some Medicare advantage programs provide membership (such as Kaiser Permanente) at no cost to you. Memberships require an initiation fee, and monthly dues (not applicable for Medicare Advantage.)

Unwelcoming, apathetic, and rude front desk staff who mock disabled people!…read more I went in today to see about getting a membership for my family member who is a disabled senior citizen with Down Syndrome and I was appalled by how rude and apathetic the people working there are. They actually made derpy faces and rolled their eyes at us when we asked questions about how their memberships work and are billed. Because of this, I would neve give then a penny of our money. For a group of people whose job it is to sell memberships and greet members, I can't believe how hard they go out of their way to be unwelcoming and unhelpful. We had to ask for a tour of the facilities. They refused to talk directly to Warrren even thought he understands English and had questions. They had no interest in talking directly with him or showing him around or telling him about the activities they offer. I told the young man giving the tour 3 times that he was hard of hearing yet he refused to speak up or engage with him directly. The amount of apathy is truly astounding. But, the alarming part is that they blatantly made fun of 2 people with disabilities to our faces. This is discriminatory and I called the red /burgundy haired woman out on this behavior and told her it was not appreciated at all and that we would be taking our business elsewhere because of her behavior specifically. I hope they have cameras so their manager can review this interaction and see the faces she made at us as we were talking, I flipped her the bird as we were leaving because I was furious but she should be fired for making fun of disabled folks.
