My job was done early but there was paint on the side of the vehicle. The issue with it being done early was I was not spoken to until a few hours before causing me to have to pay extra for a rental car because the original estimate was wrong. Since Jason was out of the office I was told he would touch base with me by Tuesday but he did not attempt to contact me till Thursday when I did not have service. His next call was Friday to come pick up the vehicle. This was a long holiday weekend and the rental place was closing in 2 hours. We previously worked out he would leave it for me to pick up over the weekend so I could arrange a ride. He promised the keys would be left behind the desk to be picked up the following Tuesday when the shop reopened. Not only were the keys left in the car I have a newer truck so it's physically impossible to leave the keys in it and it to be locked. Sadly today I was referred to go to this shop again to deal with good ol Jason. He proceeded to badger me of why I would want to work with him again. To be frank progressive said they don't have alot going on and the body shop I was trying to go to in Reno did not have the proper frame working tools as this company does. Instead of being professional he sadly trauma dumped about why he didn't call me instead of just saying sorry I missed this because of my vacation. Telling a pregnant woman about your daughters loss is so not tackful. A simple I'm sorry I didn't call you as my front desk had stated I would, would have kept me as a client and owned up to an honest mistake. Trauma dumping is so unprofessional. I definitely thought it would be worth the drive to reno to get my car fixed vs dealing with emotionally charged workers who miss final details. Good luck with this shop!

If I had to critique 1 thing, the paint color was slightly off, but that was not a reflection of their service. This was the person that came in and made the color match for them. It did not have as much metal fleck in it. Susan offered to redo the paint job, but it was not enough of a notice to have them redo that. I actually like the slight difference in the color. Kinda unique. They are a small family owned place and I like to deal with small business. Located off of Goni behind the Carson Airport. So easy to get to.

The choice of what to do or not do was completely mine. There was absolutely NO pressure to approve the other suggested services. They sent a text with pictures of what they found and explained anything/everything I asked about. Again, very much appreciated! I ended up needing new lower front rocker arms & bushings. They also performed an alignment (due to rocker arm replacement) oil change, tire balance & rotation and replaced the engine filter. I could see it was needed based on photos sent via the text. Jake found a replacement kit that included arms and bushings which saved me some money. Yay They also found the tires had been rotated improperly for an AWD. They checked tread wear and put tires in correct position to help them wear more evenly. I am completely satisfied with all levels of service received. Thank you so much Jake and Sunshine.

I asked ken for help diagnosing the problem and getting parts, ken knew right away that my water pump was toast. He let me pull my truck into their lot and start tearing apart the motor, lending me tools and answering any question I had on how to replace the parts. Justyn spent most of his day giving me tips and even driving me to oreillys to pick up parts. I was able to get the new water pump installed and get back on the road before sundown. In 2018 I had my '98 Nissan Maxima towed and dropped off because there was some electrical problem and it wouldn't start. Ted fixed it, charged me $250, and it started up in the parking lot of Fernley Tire but then died again before we left! He kept it for 3 days after that and never found the reason it wouldn't start but promptly gave me back the $250. He said he had spent hours on it but it had become a "personal issue" and was not going to charge me any more than the original $250. All of this mumbo-jumbo about Ted being dishonest is not true. Ted's the MOST honest I've ever dealt with.

We made it to a mechanic in Battle Mountain who ran diagnostics but didn't get any codes. They found that my truck ( w/28,000 miles) has dark trans fluid. We called our home Jeep dealership (Walnut Creek Jeep) who had us make our way into Fernley. Our Walnut Creek guy called ahead letting them know that we were coming and explained our problem. When we got to Fernley the service advisor (a large gentleman) acted like he had no idea why we were there. We presented him with the paperwork from the BM mechanic and his response was literally "Well, there wasn't anything recorded so what do you want us to do?". When we told him that the BM mechanic had noted dark transmission fluid, we got an education about how our truck has a closed system and the previous guy "didn't know what he was talking about". Thankfully another advisor came over and he and my husband started talking about something MY HUSBAND read about on the web about updating a module. We paid to have the module updated and moved on. We won't be back to Fernley Jeep!

I recommend removing everything from your car at home so they can find the dirt. My floors were in great need of vacuuming and my floor mats were filthy. My floors and mats now look like new. I feel like I drove a new car off Sam's property. He deserves all his 5 star reviews! My windows sparkle. There are just details that get included here that are missing other places. If a simple hand wash is THIS GOOD I cannot imagine how spectacular their attention to detail would be for a full detail. If you are a newbie to higher end car care, give Sams HAND WASH a try before you decide if you really need a full detail. I think you'll be happy here. I feel like I might start doing this hand wash maybe every 2-3 months and just run it through the WAVE touchless in between. I'm not a fanatic when it comes to my car. I just prefer it clean.
