On 12/08/2025 they damaged my daughters radiator to the tune of a $2,000 replacement. They broke a bolt off the bottom skid plate when taking it off.When asked the mechanic replacing the radiator he showed a picture of the radiator damage which was oddly enough right in line with the skid plate bolt hole. A fact they wouldn't acknowledge and played it off. Take 5 denied responsibility and claim which is decided by the District Manager Matthew Cox. When Asked to see what evidence they used to deny the claim he responded I don't have to show you that per Take 5 policy. When I asked about appealing the decision I was told it would come right back to him and he would deny it again. He couldn't explain how the car was not dripping coolant in the driveway but gushing out of the car that afternoon. He just stated I had a mechanic review it and couldn't give me an explanation of how the car was leaking coolant faster than you can put it in. He also misreprensented facts in the carfax. When asked for the number to call and speak with the claims dept he just said you have to call customer service. They are evading the questions and given defensive answers when asked a question about facts of the incident. Based on reviews from multiple websites they deny responsibility for everything. Hopefully they will see this and take responsibility for the incident and the technician will get recurrent training. read more

I went in for an oil change and they snapped my coolant hose. They had to get my car towed to a mechanic repair shop and said.."this is on us and nothing will come out of your pocket and you should have your car by tomorrow". I went to the mechanic to pick up my car yesterday and was told that they needed me to pay $240 to get my car and I said that it wasn't my responsibility! They told me that Take 5 had not paid them for the part and it could take up to 2 weeks to determine liability!! I am now without a car, having to Uber back and forth to work or rely on friends to help me all because they will not cover their mistake or the $240 repair charge! How upsetting and unfair!!! read more

The minute they saw that I was an older woman they thought they had a sucker on the line. They spoke down to me like I couldn't possible understand anything they were talking about. (even though I told them I had owned a auto repair shop before) I felt like the up-sale was being shoved down my throat. They got pissy when i told them I didn't need a cabin filter or air filter I had done it myself. The condescending reply was you Go Girl. Told me screws were missing from my skid plate, whelp since they have been the only ones changing the oil on my car I told them that was their problem since they were the last one to touch my car. I got a snotty reply Hey just letting you know. Oh when I asked to air my tires he had the nerve to explain winter air when airing up my tires. (OMG) Then instead of removing the old reminder sticker and replacing it with the new one, he had the lovely moment of basically tossing it at me. I understand that you need the up sale but NO is a complete sentence, no need to talk to me like I am stupid. I know what my driving habits are and what oil I need. This has to be one of the worst experiences I have ever had with a Oil Change. read more

Love the Staff! Super friendly and helpful. But I have been waiting for 30 minutes in a line of people in the hot Florida sun without any shade. The wait time is extensive, and I think Take 60 would be much more appropriate. I'm sandwiched in between waiting cars or I would leave now. read more

I have been taking my car to Take 5 for 2.5 years now. They always greet you with a cold bottle of water. No matter how long the line is, they seem to move it pretty quickly while also giving you friendly and efficient oil change. I am a rideshare driver, and my car is full synthetic, which can be expensive, but they give 15% off for us drivers, and I am pretty certain 25% off to all military veterans. Willie, the manager, is awesome, and so is his crew. I trust that they know what they are doing, and that gives me a lot of peace of mind. I recommend them 100%. You can go by the store any time after for top ups on fluids, including oil at n/c. And you don't ever have to get out of your car!! Thank you Willie and crew, great job! read more

If I could give a minus rating even that wouldn't be low enough! Got there today, 1/15/24 at 1050 a.m. Was online outside until 1115. Finally got into a bay but sat there until 1145, with no one looking at my car, before I decided to leave. So much for their TV ads. Not only did I gave enough time to knit sweaters fir my entire family, fix my garage door opener and stretch but I could have sheared a sheep, made the yarn and built a new garage!!! I received an oil change a few days ago . My car started to smoke a few days later . I went back to the shop one of the workers told me they forgot to tell me I have an oil leak and am missing a certain part of my vehicle . I am giving two stars because the customer service was the only great thing about this,I came here for an oil change,I had to wait 2 hours for service on an empty store with only two other cars,,when I finally get to my turn I had to decline more than 10 things I did not want at all. What made me come here and write this review was how I got lied too,I get told all my tires need changing when two of them were brand new,one of them was fine and when I went to change my flat it was so easily fixable I didn't even need a new tire. I am very lucky to always think of getting second opinions because if not thanks to the employees here I would have wasted 400$!!! This still wasted alot of my time for 0 reason,I found out as well that they dont even look at your tires cause its not permitted,hell they didnt even fill up my flat because of that so I had to just drive around like that anyways. sincerely to other people be careful and take with a grain of salt what you are told here. read more

They offered me a 50% discount and made sure everything was handled and taken care of. I'll tell you one thing.... I own a shop back in Pa & just kept forgetting to change oil in my '13 Silverado. It was about 2000 mile over due. I looked for a place to get it done here that I didn't have to worry about it being done correctly. Alex, the manager....I think, was very professional. Told me the type of oil it took and did the job. His helper was very courteous and also knew what he was doing. When I pulled out of there, I KNOW the job was preformed as it should have been. Below average service for above average price. I came in and asked for just an oil change and filter replacement. The staff also began inspecting other aspects of the car that don't relate to the oil or other engine fluids, such as my engine air filter. I understand the courtesy, but they were slow enough even without the additional inspections. It took over half an hour just for them to change the oil and filter. During that time, they kept trying to push me to have additional repairs and service done, after repeatedly telling them that I knew what else needed to be serviced and that I was able to handle it myself. A few days after I had my oil changed by them, my car started smoking a lot from the engine bay. I pulled into an auto parts store and popped the hood, and realized that they had left the transmission fluid dipstick unsecured, causing it to spill out and begin burning off. I will definitely not be coming back here again. read more
