I was told 6 months to do my lower arch , it is now going on 16 months and I still don't have my finials . The first' set of finials they put in , popped out of my mouth as I was eating dinner with my family. When I went back all the ladies said omg the teeth look like baby teeth, so why did they put these baby looking teeth in the first place? Now there making me a grown up pair of teeth , see photos.. Dr burns is great guy I like him , but he and his staff have a long way to perfect what they're trying to accomplish which are implants! There's so many more cons I could say but you get the point . unnecessary trips I had to make was unbelievable so dr burns hit me a 25 gas card twice.. And his website says ,we will beat anyone's price Guaranteed, well that's not true, I first brought them a legitimate proposal from another dentist and when I showed it to dr burns he said oh I can't even come close to that , at the time they were for snap in dentures,which I received a price for the lower arch of $6900 , his price was over $10.000 And be careful because Lynn has a habit of putting unnecessary charges on the bill, denture cleaning kit for $80 on the bill ,good thing I spotted ,as I'm paying a lot of money as it is... no one in that office included the dentist was transparent with me on the first visit, and their not transparent in general.. Finally my grown up teeth came in , so I was called to come in and have them put them in .. I sat in the chair for 4 hours before the dr decided they needed to be sent back to the lab. 4 hours omg. To mention Lynn had me sign a document that I liked the look , color , size of the finials and I did, but when I was called back the lab made a new set which are baby sized again.. psh didn't receive what I signed for See photos Maggie doesn't need to work for a dentist, she's afraid of removing the dentures so when she did they flew out my mouth and broke. She wasn't even apologetic at all , instead she got hostile with me because I wanted to keep them. Dr burns hears her noise and comes in and says let me have them and I will get them them fixed for you ! Well that never happened, just his way to get me to give them back.. I honestly believe I didn't get what I paid for, which is zirconia! I sat in the chair for over 4 hours as they were trying to set them in the implant, but it wasn't happening It took over 4 hours to realize that they have to be sent back to the lab to have themshaved down. Locater fixed implants is what I got, I was never told anything about locator fixed implants, there's no screw holding the teeth down, the pop and supposed to lock in place.. Do your research on them, had I had regular implants my teeth would've never popped out of my mouth while eating psh... The positive on locater fixed implants is that there less expensive vs regular Locater fixed implants are less invasive, during the procedure I felt no pain besides the needle dr burns stuck in my gums , because he didn't wait long enough for the numbing agent to kick in .. After the procedure all I needed was ibuprofen, i wasn't in any kind of serious pain. In a nutshell!!!!! Always look for a dentist that has an in house Lab which they don't! read more

Terrible service at this place. Had a flexible partial made in Oct. 2024. After waiting 3 weeks for it, I needed an adjustment. It left sores in my mouth. They told me it was not made right & would have to come back in Jan. for appt to have it done over again. I did that, spent 3 hrs. there, mostly waiting. The Dentist himself took impressions. They told me to come in the next day he wanted to look at my old partial. I did that, & all of a sudden he told me they were not going to do the new one, kept asking questions about why they don't feel right. Said they didn't want to spend the money on new ones. I was appalled being it was them that told me I would have to have a new partial due to it being incorrectly made, at no charge to me. I had paid almost $2000. I am left with a partial that doesn't fit right, all I wanted was an adjustment to begin with. All my time & money was wasted. Never go to this place! read more

I recently went to affordable dentures for a extraction with a referral from my doctor. When I arrived I was greeted promptly with a friendly employee at the desk. After about 10 minutes I was called back for X-rays and placed in a room. Within 10 minutes the dentist and a assistant came in and explained in detail what they could do for my tooth. The entire time the dentist was extremely patient and understanding with me being nervous. I would say he was the most gentle and sincere dentist I have had the pleasure of meeting. I highly recommend this dentist for all extractions and will never go to another dentist. read more

Dr. Burns and staff are so nice. My issue is about my partial plate. I have had to go back several times trying to get them to fit right. My gums and upper roof of my mouth have been sore when wearing the partial, that I've had to remove them to finish eating. The staff has tried to make it right, but six months have passed, and I am still in pain. I went in today and the dental assistant could see how raw my gums looked and could tell how painful it is. She took my partial and once again tried to repair the problem. My complaint is they charged me $65.00 because it was over 100 days since I got the upper partial. How is that customer service? It might not sound like a lot of money to some, but it's the principle of the matter. It's not right. read more

I sold my home to go to affordable dentures! Here I am at least 3 to 4 years later with a nice looking pair of teeth that do not fit. I have been there back-and-forth back-and-forth complaining about the issue and they want to charge me every time I come in and they say they're putting in a soft liner they only last two days. They wanted $10,000 just for dentures and removing the teeth I had we agreed on a lower price but it is the worst set of teeth imaginable. I cannot eat well with them. They slide all over my mouth with glue tooth glue and I am just entirely very very very very unhappy avoid this place at all costs read more

Absolutely worst experience I have ever had, got my wisdom tooth removed Monday morning, not only was the Doctor a total asshole as soon as I sat in the chair no warning no nothing starts putting the needles in my mouth, as the procedure was going on, he had asked if it was hurting because he saw this discomfort on my face, I tried to respond "yes", which resulted in accidentally biting his finger, which then he starts to yell at me for biting on his finger and tells me to keep my mouth open. 5 days later I call about a lot of discomfort in my mouth, they want me to come in to see the site, which I have work I work all day my only free time is my break from 3-4, now on their website they're open till 4, stickers on the door say they're open till 4, now why is the doctor telling me I cant run in at 3 so they can look at the site? His response is "It's Friday, we try to close early Fridays", in what way is that professional at all, your weekend matters to you that much that they couldn't see their patient who's in a lot of pain? The doctor has a nasty attitude, and the girl Destiny upfront wasn't pleasant either, they care about their free time more than their patients health. I get it if it was a whole procedure, which then they could have a little more validation for saying no to a 3 o'clock appointment but all he had to do was look at it to tell me if this is dry socket or not. So now that it's Friday they want me to wait 3 more days till Monday to see me. It's absolutely unprofessional, I work in a restaurant and serve people until we close, even if they come in 1-5 minutes before we close we still take care of them with a smile on our faces. This place needs a few lessons in that, I do not recommend this place to anyone trying to get a tooth extracted. read more

If you can afford to go ANYWHERE else, go there. This is the cheapest, and as they say, you get what you pay for. The doctor is a sociopath. I told him I have trouble with Novocaine, as it takes a lot for me to get numb. His response, verbatim, was "once I start, I don't stop" wow, way to care about your patients. The wait times are also ridiculous, they don't have the common courtesy to call to let you know they're running behind, and even if you call them they won't tell you. Don't go! Run! It was a nightmare and still is. I wish I would of had read these exact reviews that are not favorable! I have 13 top teeth on my new upper and they are crooked on mouth. My canine to the left is at a 30 degree angle tilted backwards. I called the office today and called and told them and she was in defense mode and sounded so uneducated in dentures and teeth. I regret going back to discuss this with the dentist! He should not hold any professional license but yet be a correctional officer! Dr. Muir came in and not only brought my smile back he fixed my upper denture that was made at least 10 years prior. They were in great shape and he looked at them and he said "why replace as they look real good and I can fix whats wrong with it". Weike Wachi , FL OFFICE The company operates an excellent market campaign. The office and dental support staff are professional. The problem is with the DOCTORS. The bed side manor and willingness to listen to a patient is non existent. The consultation is one sided and it is not from the patients view point. I have worked in health care for a long time and I have never heard a Doctor or Dentist tell a patient that they were offended that a patient questioned them. There are much better ways to discuss and help people with their dental needs. Remember dental work is scary and expensive. I would recommend to look elsewhere. However, during my check up, I learned that my previous Affordable Dentures Dentist (In Sylvania, OH) dd not grind down the bone necessary to have my dentures fit properly. They have a friendly staff but the day I went in to the Weeki Wachee Dentist turned very frustrating. My Mother and Father had died a Month before and I wasn't in the best state of mind. I entered the office and I was the only one there. A couple came in 10 minutes after me. I turned in my form and the other couple were still filling out theirs. I was called in ahead of them and after my xray the placed me in a room and the assistant said the dentist will be right with you. After 10 minutes of waiting I heard the Dentist conferring with the couple that came in after me in the next room. After another 15 minutes he was still with them. So I walked out! I called 3 weeks later and they said they wouldn't except me there? Can you imagine a Dentist so arrogant that he can't except his own mistake towards a patient? Called over the weekend. Was promptly called back Monday morning and was given an appointment with the hour. Got there waited less then an and was taken to the back. Had an X-ray, the dentist came in numbed me up and then came back numbed me a second time and then bam out came the tooth. Gave me a couple of stitches and some prescriptions. Danger! Do not go here! I went here to get lower partials done. I got the X rays and was sitting there when Dr. Muir comes in he asked me to open my mouth and then takes something and starts digging without telling me what he's doing at my gums and says I have a root that needs to come out. This is the same Dr. when he worked at Dr. Monttechello's said don't have it taken out unless it starts bothering me. I have had 5 DR's look at it and say it doesn't need taking out. After paying for x rays he rufuses to give me partials which I have worn until they broke with no problems he now refuses me partials. Again this is one of the doctors who originally told me not to have the root extracted now since he's with a company says now I need it extracted. I'd rate zero stars if Yelp would let me. Visited June '18 for a new denture consultation appointment. I did homework - reviews were mixed...Yelp has terrible reviews. Google had a mixed bag. I proceeded with a high level of caution. Short version: After checking in, waiting nearly 40 minutes past my appointment time (and listening to 2 others who were clearly on follow-up visits regarding poor product and services), we were led to the back by a technician who was incredibly rude. I was talked over, told "no dentures will never be perfect" and that I'd be disappointed if I believed otherwise. The woman tech didn't listen to anything I had to say and didn't answer any of my questions. She then proceeded to get the "doctor". The "doctor" went into the same song and dance as the technician. And he was aggressively pushing implants (clearly a more expensive product). During an exam, he hurt me. He pulled my mouth nearly apart and said "how else can I examine you?" It hurt badly and I pushed him away. He is a cocky individual who was rude and had a better-than-everyone attitude. At this point, I halted the effort and walked out. This place is horrible. No paying customer anywhere should be treated like this. This isn't my 1st denture experience and nothing prior has ever been like this. Be warned - the negative reviews are most likely 100% accurate. This place doesn't deserve to be in business. Stay away. read more

I've worn dentures since 2004. Decided to get new dentures back in 2008 at affordable dentures in the Weeki Wachee FL location, and in 2013 I asked to get them relined because they started to feel loose, and was told it won't work. The doctor then started to explain to me about implants and I said I don't want the implants, because I already knew I don't have the bone and am not a good candidate for implants, I also explained to him that I have a heart problem and take blood thinners which would not be good for me to have the surgery and implants. But he continued to discuss implants, and then I was charged $25.00 for consultation about talking about implants which I didn't even asked about. Now today April 4, 2016 by appointment I went back to get a new pair of the best dentures they sell " The Ultra" at the cost of $1595 and to have a tooth repaired on my other set of the premium set of dentures. The dental tech came in and said I see your here for a repair, and I said yes, but I also made the appointment for a new pair of dentures to. She said, ok I'll be right back, and then she came back and said right to my face that she was told to tell me that I'm not eligible for a new pair and that they will not sell me another pair of dentures. Let me say I was paying full price, with no insurance involved. I asked why I'm not eligible and she didn't know what to say after that. Then she said that I need to make an appointment again with the dentist to discuss implants. I told her I've been through this back in 2013 about me not able to have implants and she said that is what they told me to tell you. So I asked to speak with the office manager to find out why they won't sell me another pair of dentures. They told me that there is no guarantee that the new pair of dentures will fit any better than what I have, and I said what about taking new impressions, they said still no guarantee. I told them ok I fully understand that and would like to have a new back up pair since every so often either a tooth falls out or chips from my premium pair, and let me say, these were the best dentures they had at the time. Anyway, they still didn't want to sell me another pair of dentures. I got the impression now that they are now pushing implants for dentures more than just a set of dentures. They told me to my face to go to another place called Value Dental, which shocked me. Then when I said to the office manager that I was going to refer two friends of mine and speak with my lawyer, it seems then she said they will sell me just new dentures with no implants. So now that all this was happening, I decided not to get the new dentures there because I was afraid that they will make me the worst pair ever to keep me from coming back again. When I got my first pair of dentures back in 2008 from affordable dentures in Weeki Wachee, the dentist back then was the most wonderful person, but he had to leave due to personal reasons, and now this new dentist is nothing but a money hungry. So sad that this used to be a very nice location until the new people took over. Trust me when I say, they will sell you your first pair of dentures, but when you go back to upgrade for a new pair of dentures, they will not sell you another pair unless you get the implants to go with the dentures. I do not recommend Affordable Dentures at Weeki wachee Florida Location!! Do what you want, but you were warned!!!! read more
