I called up Yolo Garage, and spoke with Fernando the owner. I told him what was the issue. He immediately, booked an appointment to have a repair person come to our house that same day, to take a look at the garage door, to determine what could be the problem. That afternoon, Javier came over to examine what caused the garage door to stop functioning. In a matter of minutes, he informed me what was the problem, and what needed to be done to fix it, and the total cost to do the repair. I agreed to have him repair it. He quoted me a fair price. Javier said he had all the parts to fix it in about an hour. I was relieved to hear this. After about an hour, the repair had been completed. He explained what the repair entailed, and what he did to repair it. Javier did a fantastic job! The garage door is working perfectly again. I'll definitely, be calling Fernando again, when it's time to perform the one year maintenance, and any other problem that may occur with our garage door. He suspected the problem with the motor and not the board and offered to either troubleshoot the new board installation with the manufacturer or install a new motor. I went down a different path and opted to install a completely new system rather than repair the old one. Fernando was happy to accommodate any request that I had and did not want to push me in any particular direction. He was thoughtful and professional, and the quality of his work was superb. He even went out of his way to address issues from the previous installation. We will definitely be using Yolo Garage Door and Fernando for all of our gate and garage door needs-- I highly recommend them!

I requested a diagnosis and estimate for a problem I was having with my garage door, and called…read morearound to some local places. Right Way was one of the easiest calls I made, and they had someone available in their office to schedule me for a free estimate that day. Couldn't argue with that. My tech, Connor, was driving all around the area, but called me when he was leaving Napa to let me know an approximate arrival time, and he was nearly on time getting here. At first, he wasn't sure about the issue, and he was straightforward about that. He told me what he thought was wrong (a crack in a panel), but the crack was really hard to find. He also let me know that my system was probably past its prime, said some of the issues I was having went along those lines, and explained to me that getting a new door (which I was going to need anyway) would require me to get a new motor as well due to legal changes since the door was initially installed. He gave me four different estimates for door and motor combinations, left me with a good packet of literature on my options, and made sure that my email address was correct before he left so that he could send me the estimates. The next morning, I received a follow up text from someone in their office offering me an additional discount from what was previously sent to me. Unfortunately, that offer never came through in email, and I ultimately went with another company for the installation that came in quite a bit under their pricing. Honestly, I believe even if the email had come through, the additional discount still would not have brought the price down enough to change my mind, but I was very impressed with the service I received. I would recommend checking in with Right Way for garage door needs as an option, and if their service for you was as good as it was for me, I'd hope you'd feel good hiring them.

Since then, my garage door was back-breaking to open, and they told me there was not enough ceiling space to install an automated garage door opener. I got tired of lifting the heavy door, so I called Adam, who responded immediately and diagnosed the problem as a spring that was too small for the 90-pound door and a track that was too close to the wall. For $300, he replaced the spring with the correct size and adjusted the placement of the track. In addition to that, he said he could install an automatic opener using the front wall (not the ceiling) for $575, which he did. And so, after years of putting up with a terrible garage door, Adam has given me a garage door that is easy to open manually and which I can open with a remote.
