After diagnosing the issue, provided workable options along with 3-4 year warranty for parts & labor to ensure it could remain operational worry-free. We opted for a service package deal to replace the entire garage opener to 1 horsepower & new springs, so they provided free rollers which has made the garage so much smoother & quieter. Even during installation, they encountered a broken roller hinge & installed a new one ($20 value). To avoid paying extra by credit card, he stuck around to wait as a family member went to withdraw cash and save us $30-$40. All the while, walking through how to connect our phone to the garage opener app for controls & camera. Manu came out the same day to check the situation, and determined I needed a new garage door opener. Since I was purchasing a new opener, he discounted labor costs by $150, lubricated the springs, and replaced the rollers, discounting those by $100. Manu was very flexible and accommodating about scheduling, and he was able to install the new opener within the framework of my 31-year-old one, without needing to cut into the garage ceiling/attic floor. If I could give this incompetent so-called "contractor" ZERO stars I would. Against my better judgment I fell for his sob story about why my job was delayed over 2 months because he was sick. I should have moved on, but I didn't and now I am here to warn anyone else not to make the same mistake. This guy is an excellent salesman and that is about where his expertise stops. From scheduling, to communication, to the quality of work this process has been a nightmare. All we needed was new openers installed and it took over 4 months, 3 separate visits and hours of labor all for me to get the wrong product that still doesn't work properly. The icing on the cake is that if/when you have an issue with his work, HE WON'T RETURN YOUR CALLS, TEXTS OR E-MAILS!! WARNING!!! I called today because my garage door stopped working and Manu responded immediately and guarantee a 2 o'clock spot today. He was on time and professional and knew exactly what was wrong. He replaced my springs on both sides and it was a fair price and he included some other minor fixes which he did not charge. You can tell he has a lot of knowledge I will use them again because I planned later on to change the motor to have a more updated system but he said it was no need for right now I highly recommend Manu being a female and getting people to come and over price "or tell you things to be replaced when it doesn't need to. It was ordered and installed nicely by Manpreet and his helper. The next day I was having a problem with my sensor. Manpreet made arrangements to come over to review the problem. The sensor worked perfectly while he was there and assured me that he would come over again if it acted up and fix it (that is a plus in my book). Reviewed the issue and determined that a full replacement needed as did other companies. helped get thw door down to for peace of mind as our garage does house two cars and tool boxes. Better quoted at half the cost of at least one widely known garage door company. No BS costs associated. much more quieter wheels than the original. wont seel you something you dont need so be careful as other companies will force you into things like stating Cali law says its required to have a back up battery to your garage motor. Turns out the law is for newly installed motors or sale of newly purchased ones. I didnt need this option, its recommended for older models, but other companies will tell you its required, so beware.
