Three days prior to my dog getting groomed, I was notified that they had moved to Clayton Rd and hopefully we can still make the appointment. I said no problem and drove there on the appointment day. When I arrived, his normal groomer said she hurt her back grooming a large dog and that she didn't know how well of a job she could do on my dog. It would have been nice to know this prior to driving out to clayton so I could make the decision to get him groomed or not. She then told me this would be the last time she could groom him. I asked if they have anyone else to groom him and the answer was no. I went ahead and had him groomed that day. I spent $190.00 not with tip and brought him home to find out that he had mats all over his chest and behind his ears. I feel like this place should have given me a discount since they one forgot to tell me they moved, and two told me she wasn't sure she could do a good job. I find it hard to believe they don't have another groomer for large dogs. I wish the groomer would have been up front with me prior to driving all that way and getting a partial groom for full price.

I guess this place is good for dogs but not so great for cats…read more We usually use a mobile pet groomer but we decided to give Clip And Clean. But when we walked in with our cat there was no one at the front desk to greet us and ask us about our cat -he is skittish and I would have liked to have met his groomer to talk to her . But she just grabbed the carrier and put it in the dog grooming area . So my poor kitty who was already freaked out from being in our car was now sitting in a room filled with dogs ! I hope they actually have a different quieter space for cats but again had no information about that . Another groomer finally came out - gave us an info card to sign- And then asked for proof of rabies vaccination- that was NOT mentioned to us when we called to set up the appointment. We did not have that with us, but it didn't really matter at that point because there was no way I was going to leave my 10 year old very scared cat at Clip and Clean.
