I wouldn't call this company in a million years after witnessing a man driving one of their vehicles committing a road rage incident. As it is, I'll be reporting it to the police. The man jerked his huge vehicle into the lane he wanted to merge into without regard for the fact that there was already a car in that lane. The man driving the vehicle he almost crashed into had to slam on his brakes and stop to avoid being hit or forced into oncoming traffic. On top of this, the jerk driving the Affordable Plumber vehicle leaned his arm out the window and flipped the man off, despite the fact that he was the instigator. All of this was completely unnecessary as I was behind the man he nearly hit, and was leaving plenty of room for him to merge. Based on the reviews, I thought working with this company would be a slam dunk...wrong. My husband & I noticed at 4 AM the left handle to the faucet in our master bathroom wouldn't shut the water off & was also leaking onto the top of the sink. I managed to get the handle twisted in just a way that stopped the small stream so it was just an occasional drip. Not an emergency at that point but definitely wanted to get someone out to take a look at it since that sink was now out of commission & I worried the stream might start up again since it started on it's own overnight anyway. Found Affordable Plumber CO on Yelp & they looked attractive because of their advertised 24/7 availability as well as the positive reviews saying as much. We got a response through Yelp to call a number to get on their schedule. My husband called around 7:30 AM to a terse employee. Frankly sounded like our leak was a major inconvenance to them. My husband asked if they were aware of the information we'd sent them through Yelp, got a short no. He quickly explained the issue and asked if they were available today. Also a no, but fine, how about tomorrow? We got a maybe and a request to send a picture of the faucet (which we'd already provided on Yelp but I digress). We were told that depending on the picture they may or may not be able to do the job. Lots of red flags for us so we decided to use another company who coincidently is able to come this morning without any *itching & moaning. Why utilize Yelp as a means of communication & then act like the customer is off their rocker when they use it? Why advertise being a company that is potentially more available then others & be off putting when someone wants to schedule with you, & is being flexible on date/time? I've had all kinds of plumbing done (water heaters, faucet replacements, irrigation related, etc.) on our various properties & I find it interesting that a basic Delta bathroom faucet would be something a company that advertises 25 years master plumbing experience can't handle. It either can be fixed or needs to be replaced. And if it is a replacement that is needed, jokes on this company, because it's been on our to-do list to swap the fixtures to something more our taste. Guess the other plumbing company will potentially get that business of updating our Master Bathroom fixtures as well as any other work in our 5 bathroom house in the future. read more

We had a leak in our bathroom. The tech was onsite at the time he promised. He and his crew were very polite and attentive to detail. They discovered that the toilet installation had never been completed, hence the leak (way to go KB Homes). The problem was quickly resolved and the cost was very fair. TLDR: They responded in the middle of the night and saved the day for a great price. On Thursday, May 11, during the ridiculous amount of rain, my basement's sump pump failed at about 9 - 11 PM (my husband happened to be downstairs, so we saw the water flowing from a windowless wall into the room that he was in almost as it happened). Having had a sump pump fail before in a different house, I knew what was happening immediately. I called a neighbor and we began immediately trying to fix the sump pump and to clean the [visible] water. Luckily, my sump pump came to life with just a shake of the PVC pipe. Unluckily, it truly and finally died after one last hurrah. After doing that, and realizing that the sump pump wasn't coming back, while watching the water level rise in the reservoir, my husband immediately started going down the list of plumbers on here that service / replace sump pumps. Thankfully Patrick was the first to respond. Not only did he make quick work replacing the sump pump, but he was friendly about it too. He had worked through the night helping other customers and I was fortunate to get him before I had any more problems. If you have a plumbing need, you should definitely check them out. Excellent. I had a recirculating pump go bad on my water heater on 5/7/2024. I got Affordable number from Yelp. I called Pat and left a message and he returned the call within ten minutes. I told him the problem and he said he would be there tomorrow. It's now 11:04 AM on 5/2/2024 and he just finished replacing the pump. If you are looking for an honest plumber who does excellent work, I would HIGHLY recommend Patrick Wertin with Affordable Plumber. Affordableplumbercollc@gmail.com, 303-718-6312. He is an independent contractor, which makes his prices significantly more competitive, compared to large companies. We recently had a water heater essentially explode and blow water all over our basement. We received quotes from several companies for both water heater replacement and an upgrade to a water on demand system, and Pat's was, without question, the best for both options. We ultimately decided to upgrade to the Navien water on demand system, which also required additional gas and piping to be installed in our home (we had 2 water heaters, each with 40K BTUs, and the Navien requires 199K BTU), and new venting. Pat was extremely knowledgeable and professional throughout the entire process. He came to our house 3-4 times prior to even starting install to thoroughly discuss a plan and install location, and all available options to determine the best result for us. Once we developed a finalized plan, he provided us with a final quote, and stared almost immediately. It was an extensive install, requiring several days to fully complete, but Pat was dedicated to our project and was easily reachable throughout. He also handled all communication with the gas company for approvals and for meter upgrade, as well as with the Navien reps. His work was IMPECABLE (see attached picture). He used all of the highest quality fittings, pipes, and lines, and upgraded the water filtration system for the drain, to prevent damage to our plumbing, related to our hard water. He also included a high-altitude conversion kit, and affixed all tubes and pipes for both aesthetics and for stability. He was meticulous about design and alignment of all plumbing, which I could not have been happier with. Large companies would not have been nearly as thoughtful with all aspects of the project. The gas company was also highly impressed with his work. We had one small issue with venting after final install, but Pat immediately prioritized fixing the issue, and we have not had a single problem since. If you want an amazing plumber, who does incredible work at a fair price, you should seriously consider Pat at Affordable Plumber. We will use him for all future work, without hesitation. As a note, he is licensed and has no complaints on DORA (something I would recommend checking for anyone who does work in your home). read more
