We recently had a roof leak due to the cover of an attic vent slipping off on our roof. Had some…read moremoderate water damage to one wall in our master bedroom. Called JBC and they came out almost immediately. Mark (I think was his name) went up on the roof and took a look. He nailed the cover back in place and inspected the area around it. He said there was no other damage that he could see and that the roof looked pretty good. He also said that while JBC doesn't do sheet rock work, they could refer us to a business they contract with. We told him we'd get back to him as soon as we got our insurance settlement. JBC also gave us a quote for cleaning and sealing the roof, applying moss retardant, cleaning the gutters, etc., and we are just about ready to call and schedule a date. If we are happy with their work, we will call the in the spring to discuss having a new roof put on. Stay tuned for another review.

I was impressed with the father/son team and asked them to do a maintenance project on our home. The estimate was very high, but thinking I would get what I paid for, I hired them to do the work. We had reviewed all the areas where the gutter facia board was to be replaced and as construction progressed, I reminded Noe of an area that still needed to be completed. On the final day I was ill and not up to a detailed check of the work. The next day I found that they had not completed a specific facia section, even though we had discussed it in particular the day before. I contacted Noe several times by phone and text, and he assured me that they would get it done. After months of promises, Noe claimed they were fined by the state for some violation and could not work. After that Noe refused to respond to any type of correspondence. Noe flat out overcharged me and then refused to finish the work. I would recommend staying far away from Alpha Roofers LLC

I had a leak which they repaired while they were here and they discovered a mummified squirrel in my attic and pulled it out. They didn't charge me a dime. They took pictures of certain areas on the roof that they were concerned about as well as in the attic space. None of the other roofers I had out took near the amount of time that these guys did to really check out my roof situation. I hired them. I had them put gutters in as well. About a year later, I had water coming into my basement and I was concerned that maybe there was something going on with my gutters. They immediately came out ...on a Saturday! We had a few issues with the gutters that were installed when we bought our house. Two of the corners on the house were not draining at all and during storms would dump water in sheets - one just outside our backdoor. In addition, several corner seams were rusted and leaking through. We called to schedule a (free) estimate on a Friday and on Monday morning Austin showed up at 9:00 am. We walked around the house and talked about how to fix various problems - adding a downspout from the second story to the first floor gutter, moving downspouts avoid excess water across shingles, etc.The next day Austin had emailed us a quote with choices: aluminum or steel, square or round corrugated downspouts and color choices. We went with steel, corrugated and black. The very next day two crew members, Reynolds and Nahum, showed up on time with their truck. Both Reynolds and Nahum were professional, courteous and very conscientious. Whenever they had a question they would find my wife or myself and get an answer before proceeding. They took down the old gutters efficiently. Once all of the gutters were down they vacuumed up the resulting mess: mud, leaves and debris.After that was done, they began manufacturing custom lengths on site for the house. Ours is a two story house with 30' plus runs and multiple corner returns. Reynolds and Nahum had no problem with any of it and were able to move from one section to another with no lag time. At the end of the day, we had new, beautiful gutters installed.They cleaned up everything from the project including the screws from the disassembled old parts from the driveway. All the seams were tight, caulked and perfectly fitted, including a bit of custom downspout work feeding directly into our rain barrels. Reynolds and Nahum are truly top notch professionals. We had had three other companies visit and he stood out for his professionalism and knowledge - he was the only person who a) observed that our house was built in 1937 and b) explained its long and likely history of poor roof choices, which led to c) his plan for a new system that would help the old girl finally breathe as she was originally designed to do. We wound up putting off the project due to the pandemic, so had a lot of time to consider our options. We decided that along with Klam's quality came peace of mind, and so secured them this winter. The team came out and finished in two days; were awesome and frankly we are still shocked by how clean the site was after they left; they did a great job of clean-up! Also have to say we so appreciated Katie in the office; she is highly communicative and we had a clear idea of schedule thanks to her. PS, this alone is another plus for Klam; two of the other companies we'd looked at went totally silent after their visit and one became super pushy. Total professionals here. Which brings me to another key point - Klam was one of only two contractors (of the four we interviewed) who were honest about the condition and cost. Now, we knew going into it that we had FOUR layers of roof up there - literally decades of previous owners doing their own DYI patchwork fixes. Really interesting/disturbing to observe that two companies told us there were only two layers, and casually mentioned "more" would be charged "if" they discovered extra. Klam was the only company who said straight up, "There are four layers, and here is what it will cost." We of course opted for their clear, no surprises estimate.
