They also do Market Match here and have a good bulk good section. If you become a member you get some great deals on products. Some things aren't worth getting here because the price increase. My son loves their sushi!

It's conveniently located for me, as in walking distance, and you can't beat that for picking up essentials. Anything to save myself a car ride! While their selection isn't always robust as far as produce goes, they have far more locally- grown items than Whole Foods. I think they strive to offer as much local as possible, whereas these days WF does not, so kudos to them for that. I don't want my tomatoes from Mexico if they are in season here. That said, you may not find everything you're looking for as the selection varies, but I can always count on finding an organic baked potato and I'm not going to find that at Robert's, the neighborhood supermarket. I used to think pricing was super high here, but I no longer feel that way. In fact, they are often cheaper than Robert's, as it seems like they are just pricing for tourists looking to stock their vacation rentals. They have a good selection of vegan items, even locally-made cheeses and meats, in addition to the commercial brands. And if you hit it at the right time, there's locally-made vegan baked goods, too. They have a modest wine and beer selection but still convenient if you need it. I think the neighborhood should support the Food Co-op. When it first opened, there was all this strange begrudgement around it, "we wanted a real supermarket," but when that so-called "real" supermarket opened it was a bit of an eye-opener for most of us ($7 for OJ five years ago was unheard of, but of course most of us wouldn't bat an eye in this economy).

We spent some time looking through the pressed oil section which I was pleased to find that the prices were decent. However, the oil I was searching for wasn't in stock. We walked through each aisle looking at random item...I decided to shop for ingredients to make spicy kimchi. I unfortunately was unable to find one key ingredient (gochugaru) and so I put my kimchi fermentation dreams on hold. I could've asked around instead I was overwhelmed and gave up. I did grab the viral Japanese fruit ice cream (peach & mango) and well...they were good but I guess I was expecting something more intense. It didn't quite live up to the hype or the $5.99/ea price tag. My friend got the biscoff Dubai chocolate. We should've taken our time but instead we ate too much sugar too quickly and the outcome was not positive. Overall, I enjoyed the adventure and I plan to come back here with a recipe and a list of ingredients!
