We placed a simple order for two flavors mixed together, a request that should not be difficult for any business to fulfill. The snowball was made incorrectly, and when we politely pointed this out and clarified the flavors we had asked for, the owner became confrontational and began arguing with my family member instead of simply correcting the mistake. What happened next was beyond unacceptable. The owner of this location threw a snowball at my family member, called her out of her name, and continued to yell, curse, and argue with her in front of other customers. This is a business. We are paying customers, the very people whose money keeps their doors open and their bills paid, and we were met with hostility, vulgarity, and outright aggression instead of basic professionalism. On top of this, the establishment itself was noticeably unsanitary. There is no version of customer service that excuses this kind of behavior. Save your money and take your business somewhere you will actually be treated with respect and dignity. French Market, you owe your customers far better than this. We will be filing a formal complaint with city officials, because conduct like this has no place in any business that serves the public. I have no doubt we are not the first family to be treated this way, and without accountability, we will not be the last.
