I started with just a stretch workout and even that made me sweat! Definitely felt the burn. They also have a shower which is very convenient if you want to go be before work ! They are a 24 hr gym, super convenient! Each workout and instructors are on the screen as you go. they have an easy/modified, medium and advanced instructors on the screen as you go. So thankful for Brooklyn and her customer service ! She was very helpful and informative about the whole place and how everything works. Made me feel very comfortable and didn't push me into purchasing anything. Which a lot of people can get nervous about when trying out a new gym. I recommend you try your first session free and you won't regret it, might even get a membership. Just like me !

They aren't just trying to sell memberships, unlike THRC. The classes don't feel repetitive, unlike Orange Theory. It's not overcrowded, unlike SMAC. The one drawback I'd say is the wall of TVs. It's torture running in front of them. Most of the channels are pretty bad, monotonous or political news. If I had a magic wand I'd turn them all off. Peace at last! Price however is hard to beat, Planet Fitness offers the best rates so that's why I keep putting up with the TVs. Maybe it's a way to keep me from coming too often... They are opening a location walking distance from and I wanted to try them out before the location…read morenear me opens. They offer 1 free class to try them out. So I used that free class here. I arrived 30 minutes early so i could fill out the paperwork and get a introduction on what to expect. Matt the trainer showed me the 3 stations, rowing, treadmill and weights, and explained each one to me. He put me on station 12 so he'd be able to help me easier during my first workout. Matt is a great trainer and was very helpful and encouraging. Since it was my first workout he reminded me throughout that I could modify the exercises to my capability. The hour went by so fast the workout for the day was focused on power so the circuit was rowing, treadmill, weights, rowing, treadmill weights, rowing, treadmill and finished with stretching. In the one hour workout I burned 922 calories. I was very happy with that. Everyday is a different workout. You don't even know the area of focus for that date until right before call. When you book a class all you see is the time and the trainers name. On Friday I was called to see how I enjoyed the class. I enjoyed it so very much that I did not want to wait until September when the Alamo Heights location opens. So I was assisted in signing up for a temporary membership at this location until my discounted new location discount kicks in when it opens. I had some issue with the app and I was called back very quickly and the issue resolved just as fast. Everyone I've dealt with has been fantastic. Customer service is most definitely part of this businesses DNA. I will and have recommended them to others.
